25/08/2024: L'esperienza consolidata nella gestione è garanzia di servizio tempestivo e puntuale, anche a locale pieno. Buone sia le cozze che le vongole alla marinara, abbastanza buona la pizza. Prezzi onesti e porzioni generose. Peccato per la vespe che gironzolano affamate, perché fino a che il sole non tramonta non danno tregua.

15/08/2024: We ordered take-away pizzas, although they were not exceptional, but edible, we paid, for example, the margherita €7 when elsewhere it costs €5 and the 4 seasons €12 compared to €7.50. I would say that more than a pizzeria it is a den of thieves....

04/09/2024: My parents and I have been stopping at this place for 6 years on our way back from holidays at the spa. What can I say? Everything spectacular. Impeccable service. The owner is super nice. A place that brings joy. In 3 people we took: - 2x classic piadinas (arugula, squacquerone and raw S. Daniele), - 1x cottarella piadina (salad, tomato, cooked meat and mayonnaise), - 1x Nutella piadina (divided into 3), - 1x natural water 0.5, - 1x peach tea, - 1x ichnusa. For a total of around €50. A highly recommended place if you want to eat a real Piadina from Romagna, with a capital P.

23/08/2024: Pur essendo un ristorante con bar sulla spiaggia, aperto solo per pranzo offre una ristorazione di qualità. Offre un menu non ampio ma molto vario per tipologia: primi e secondi di pesce, piatti freddi, piadine, insalatone e anche qualche primo di carne come tagliatelle al ragù e tortellini pasticciati. Abbiamo pranzato qui x 10 giorni essendo situato accanto al nostro bagno, abbiamo provato un po' di tutto e siamo rimasti sempre soddisfatti. Nonostante l'affollamento nell'orario di punta hanno un servizio molto veloce e cordiale. Consigliata la prenotazione.

06/11/2024: It's been an institution right on the beach for years - we've been coming here again and again for 30 years. Open especially in the off-season and off-season. Child-friendly - the table decorations with lollipops and gummy bears are very nice. Definitely eat the Fritto Misto! A dream.

03/11/2024: "Bad lunch and service to be reviewed" I went to this restaurant for lunch and, although the food was good, the experience was disappointing due to the service. Not only is table service non-existent, but you are forced to order at the counter, where the cashier was rude, listless and visibly disorganized. The waiting time was interminable: over half an hour to receive a simple dish! I find it absurd that, on top of all this, the cashier didn't even provide me with cutlery and a placemat, as if it were a negligible detail. Nothing to say, however, about the staff in the kitchen, who rushes and goes out of their way to compensate for the shortcomings of the person who is limited to only making the cash... and even badly. Really a shame, because with a minimum of organization and attention to customers the experience would have been very different.

20/08/2024: We dined at "Mad inside The Box" two evenings in a row to try various dishes, and we were very satisfied. Each dish was well prepared and carefully presented. Here's what we tasted: Linguine with clams, bottarga and ginger: A well-balanced dish, with a mix of flavors that blend perfectly. The clams were fresh and the bottarga added a touch of flavor, while the ginger added a note of freshness. Burrata and lime tortello, roasted red mullet and yellow datterino tomatoes: The pasta was a little too thick, but the burrata and lime filling was delicious. The roasted red mullet and yellow datterini tomatoes completed the dish with a touch of sweetness and acidity. Fried anchovies, aromatic herb powder: The anchovies were crunchy and tasty, but the portion was very generous and risked becoming monotonous. A fresh sauce would have helped balance the dish. Steamed skate bao, spinach and mayonnaise curry (3 pieces): This dish convinced us less. The steamed ray was not very tasty and the curry mayonnaise was a little heavy. There are 3 pieces, it doesn't say anything on the menu, so it has a significant impact on the stomach. If you want to try it, consider it as a dish to share. Maritozzo squacquerone, caramelized fig and bacon (2 pieces): The highlight of the evening. The Maritozzo was soft and well-filled, with the creamy squacquerone, the sweet caramelized fig and the crunchy bacon creating a perfect balance of flavours. The service was excellent: the staff, made up of young and attentive guys, were professional and kind, always making us feel at ease. The place is very beautiful, with a modern design with attention to the smallest details, which creates a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. Great music selection at the right volume. Pet friendly place. The only weak point is the view onto the road, which is a bit busy during the day, but this did not affect our overall experience too much. Ultimately, “Mad inside The Box” is a restaurant that we highly recommend for the quality of the food and the excellent service.
