04/02/2026: On Saturday evening, we had a negative experience related solely to the management of reservations.
We called the restaurant several times and were told over the phone that they would reserve a table for us. However, when we arrived, the reservation was missing.
Our name was requested three times on site, without ever being noted or clearly identified. Meanwhile, confusion arose with other customers waiting, with no clear indication of time or priority.
After about 40 minutes, having received no real confirmation, we decided to leave.
The point, in my opinion, is simple: if there is no availability, it's best to let them know immediately, avoiding wasting customers' time. Clearer communication would have avoided this situation.
Regarding your previous response, I kindly ask you not to imply that you reviewed the wrong restaurant.
01/01/2026: Nine of us had dinner for New Year's Eve...everything was delicious! The ingredients were truly excellent...the service was impeccable! We spent just the right amount...in fact, we'll definitely be back.

24/11/2025: Hi, I've been a customer of the ice cream maker for almost 3 years, unfortunately the prices go up every year and the quality goes down every year. A while ago I had a chocolate cake, I expected a real chocolate cake, so not the one they usually have. Then they didn't tell me that putting a name on it would cost me more, so I didn't say anything since it was an order already made. Then in the summer I was curious to try their granita, which wasn't really granita, it was crushed ice with colorant, since I'm used to eating real Sicilian granita. Unfortunately, my partner and I, because he also used to order things from there, will not go there again given the high prices and the low quality that left us disgusted.

10/01/2026: I went for a drink with a friend. We ordered two beers and they brought us an excellent aperitif: coppa, meatballs, chips, and mini pizzas—all delicious. Total €6 per person. Kudos to the management, keep up the good work!

13/03/2026: Hi, I ordered a rib-eye steak with fries and vegetables, as it said on the menu. I received a huge platter with the meat, pickled vegetables, potatoes, a flatbread with bean salsa, half a corn, a monstrous amount of salad, two slices of pineapple, a strawberry, and a slice of watermelon. Even when the dish arrived, the meat was already half cold. In short, it was a bit pointless to serve a dish like that. I should also add that the owner was surly and presumptuous. I wouldn't go there again.
06/03/2026: The food was delicious, especially the sandwich and the dessert, which was also delicious. The place was very clean. I was truly speechless. I would gladly return.

A terrible experience. This restaurant has an extremely limited menu, so much so that a simple request for a Milanese cutlet with fries prompted a truly unacceptable response from the host: "You go get your fries at McDonald's." A rude, inappropriate, and completely uneducated comment. Regardless of the restaurant's philosophy, respect for customers should be paramount. Given the way we were treated, I highly discourage it. We will never return.

22/07/2025: E' sempre un gran piacere tornare al Barca, innanzitutto per la gentilezza e la professionalità del proprietario e del personale di sala (manca molto la signora che abitualmente accoglieva la clientela e gestiva il carrello dei bolliti, alla quale va il nostro caro ricordo). E' sempre un gran piacere inoltre degustare i salumi e i primi piatti della tradizione piacentina e i bolliti misti che oggi, però, non abbiamo ordinato a causa del caldo. Rimedieremo in autunno! Ampia scelta di dolci. Buon vino, un gutturnio della casa e prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. I nostri complimenti, come sempre!
19/07/2025: Cena in coppia in questo ristorante. è stata una piacevole esperienza Cibo eccellente, preparato con materie prime di ottima qualità che esaltano ogni piatto. Sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, che dimostrano grande attenzione nella scelta degli ingredienti e nella preparazione. Anche il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è cortese, disponibile e molto attento, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con discrezione. Prezzi onesti per un’esperienza culinaria di livello. Consigliatissimo

15/03/2026: I don't understand people who say the food is good. The cold cuts are already starting off: but can you serve salami that's obviously industrial and Milanese-style in Piacenza? Thick pancetta.
Butter and sage caramels... oh well, I won't comment.
Fried fish: good.
Fine salad and seafood appetizer in general are pitiful, made with poor quality ingredients.
Meat: I packed it up to take to my dogs.
Sorbet: too sour.
Coffee: good.
Pizza: just one, they obviously use very low-quality cheese.
There were three of us, we spent very little, but I would have preferred to pay a fair amount and eat at least reasonably well.

08/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Tokyo Restaurant in Castel San Giovanni, and I can say it was a truly enjoyable experience. The restaurant offers a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying an evening of fine Japanese cuisine.
The menu is rich and varied, with a wide selection of traditional dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The sushi, in particular, was exceptional: incredibly fresh and expertly prepared fish, with meticulous attention to detail. Even the hot dishes, such as ramen and tempura, lived up to expectations, with authentic and well-balanced flavors.
The staff was courteous and attentive, ready to accommodate every request with a smile. Furthermore, the wait times were short, despite the restaurant being quite busy.
The only flaw, if I may say so, were the slightly overly generous portions, which might be too much for those with a more moderate appetite. However, this detail did not negatively impact the overall experience, which remained extremely positive.
In short, Tokyo Restaurant is an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy Japanese cuisine in a pleasant and refined atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try other dishes from their interesting menu!

09/10/2025: Strong musty smell and "bizarre" hygiene conditions. The employee made me coffee while sticking his hands in his mouth the entire time, biting his nails. He then gave me breakfast with the same hands, without washing them. The bioches seem to be from a while ago. I also don't recommend the communication style; they make you a coffee and it seems like they're doing you a favor.
