02/03/2025: Departing from Lumaca di Prato Barbieri for an excursion to Monte La Penna, we stopped both on the way out and on the way back for breakfast and to drink hot tea. Excellent welcome and kindness from the owner who provided us with useful advice and offered us a brioche on our return. We will definitely be back to try the cuisine and one of the many events they organise.

28/01/2025: A magical place, lots of positive energy. You need to have eyes to see the beauty of these places and truly appreciate them. I always go back as soon as I can!

03/02/2025: Dinner with a couple of friends. Always great food. He never dazzles. Excellent Piacenza cured meats. Excellent first courses. Excellent seconds. Excellent desserts. Super recommended! Our point of reference for bortellina. Traditional foods! Cold cuts and broth for 4 people, 3 second courses with meat, 3 desserts, 2 mineral waters, 1/2 liter wine. 124 euros

07/01/2025: sitting at the table at 12.30pm we saw the first courses at 3.20pm. Mediocre food, friendly but unresponsive service. The only positive note is being able to sign yourself not to return. Yes, I'm sure of the place and I'm sure I sat down at the table at 12.30pm and left when it was almost 4pm after the starter and first course, and you were surprised we didn't want dessert! Maybe less tables and follow them all because my experience was terrible.

18/12/2024: Groppo Ducale (www.groppoducale.it) is located about 13 km of curves and enchanting views from Bettola, it is not very easy to reach but the journey is certainly worth it, even more so if you stop to eat at La Rosina. The restaurant is rustic and the environment, although recently renovated, maintains an ancient and local flavour. The dishes are truly typical and locally produced with flavors that bring you back to the country life of a few years ago. The handmade first courses are highly recommended, including the legendary tortelli with porcini mushroom sauce or the anolini in broth rather than the polenta with cod. But even the second courses and desserts, of own production, are no different; not to mention the mixed starters. Prices are always low compared to market prices and certainly excellent when compared with the quality of the products.
