02/04/2026: We had lunch on Sunday, March 29th. The dining room, overlooking the garden through a beautiful window, is absolutely beautiful. The tables are well-arranged with a beautiful table setting. The menu is fantastic: top-quality cured meats, exquisite first courses, and excellent wines. Excellent service! Definitely worth a try.
30/03/2026: It's always a wonderful experience returning to I Pifferi.
Exquisite food, carefully crafted with excellent ingredients; courteous and always available service (and there were 11 of us at the table...).
The quality/price ratio is more than satisfactory.
A word of advice: absolutely worth trying (and re-trying!!!)

18/01/2026: There were four of us for dinner and we ordered two appetizers of mixed cured meats and tortafritta (the cured meat wasn't very good). We also had two pizzas and two veal tips, three desserts, water, and two bottles of Prosecco Val d'Oca (€6 at Paladini). The atmosphere was pleasant, but €45.00 per person...in my opinion, it's way too expensive. I'll never go back.

10/02/2026: Panificio Boni in the center of Sala Baganza is a large bakery with a wide selection of baked goods and pastries.
They also stock homemade products like fresh pasta, etc.
Spacious, with plenty of seating, and friendly staff.
Prices are reasonable for savory items.
23/10/2025: One of the best places in Parma and its province for breakfast, an aperitif, or a lunch break! Alberto's pala romana is highly recommended. A must-try!

22/03/2026: Excellent appetizers, with a truly remarkable fried cake: soft, light, and not at all dry. The cured meats were also good, and the giardiniera was very pleasant.
The rice savarin was rich in flavor, while the guinea fowl with roast potatoes was tasty and well-cooked.
As for desserts: simply wow! Fantastic tiramisu with mascarpone cream and a trifle prepared to perfection.
Perfect and generous portions. We really enjoyed it!

The atmosphere was beautiful and it was a pleasure to eat surrounded by the nature of the Carrega woods!
Classic food, but with fresh ingredients, and a fair price.

19/12/2025: Friendly staff, welcoming and warm atmosphere, the food is good. I go there with my family and sometimes with friends and I've always had a great time!
02/11/2025: I got takeout. NEVER AGAIN. I was sick all night. It was my second time there, and hoping the first time was a fluke, I tried again... nothing... impossible to stomach. I don't know what or how they do it, but I'll never go there again. Plus, it's a bit pricey.

23/03/2026: The restaurant is located in a prominent location directly across from the Sala Baganza fortress, making it very convenient thanks to the large parking lot across the street.
The bar is spacious, well-furnished, and has plenty of tables both inside and out.
The service and staff attitude could definitely be improved.

After reading the manager's response, I downgraded my review by one star: indeed, the hostile and almost rude attitude persisted even beyond the brief experience at the restaurant; unfortunately, good manners—evidently—are not a gift for everyone.
10/02/2026: Nice place, but not very well managed.
On Sunday afternoon, nothing was available, not even a toasted sandwich, which is the bare minimum for a bar.

26/05/2025: Auf unserer Reise durch die Emilia Romagna haben wir hier an 4 Abenden vorzüglich gegessen. Alles wird mit frischen regionalen Produkten zubereitet, die Pasta selber hergestellt. Das angebotene Fleisch liegt appetitlich dekoriert in einer Vitrine und wird frisch gegrillt. Zu Auftakt gibt es z. B. bei den Antipasti einen köstlichen Salat mit Frisee, Apfelscheiben, Walnuss, Johannisbeeren, Parmesan und Aceto Balsamico. Das gegrillte Hähnchen, die Tagliata waren umwerfend gut - genauso wie die gesamten Pastagerichte. Einen Tisch zu reservieren ist insbesondere am Wochenende wichtig.
22/05/2025: Siamo stati veramente bene. Serata con amici , due dei quali in visita dalla Spagna. Mangiato bene, buon servizio, cordialita' e gentilezza. Un posto dove tornare e da consigliare. Bravi.

01/05/2025: Scoperto per caso di ritorno da una gita fuori porta ai Boschi di Carrega. Proviamo ad andarci senza prenotazione in un giorno di festa, veniamo accolti dalla gentilissima e simpaticissima proprietaria che ci trova subito un posto. È una trattoria rustica davvero carina, immersa nel verde e lontana dai rumori della città, con possibilità di pranzare all'aperto o all'interno. Salumi davvero buonissimi, torta fritta spettacolare!!!Primi deliziosi ed abbondanti, guancialino di maiale che si scioglieva in bocca per quanto era tenero. Gelato ottimo. Tutto perfetto e conto assolutamente nella media. Nel complesso un' ottima trattoria, dove ritorneremo sicuramente.
16/03/2025: A pranzo lo abbiamo scoperto per caso. Tutto eccellente dal personale ai primi i secondi e i buonissimi dolci. Anche il posto è carino
