22/05/2025: Everything was perfect, not just 2 stars, I would have given 4, also for the kindness and helpfulness
18/05/2025: We met for the first time by chance, for a lunch with friends, and I was really amazed by the place, the food all really delicious with explosions of flavors, the excellent service everyone very helpful especially one of the owners. I was very satisfied we decided to celebrate the first communion of our daughter more or less 30 people and they were all very happy we ate excellent food also based on truffles. However I recommend to all the people who are in the Calestano area to go and try the cuisine and see the beautiful place da Fontana.
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful day today and especially to Mrs. Patrizia who was very kind and helpful.

31/08/2024: Typical, informal and welcoming place known and appreciated for being a meeting point for the inhabitants of the area and beyond. Possibility to have lunch/dinner both in the internal lounge and outside. You can taste typical traditional dishes. Excellent homemade pasta, such as tagliatelle, tortelli, etc. Friendly, attentive and discreet staff. We had a good time.
21/07/2024: I hope you can define the evening as decidedly wrong, as the whole thing was truly embarrassing!!!! I limit myself to not saying anything else as I am convinced that the place can offer much more! Will we try again?

11/05/2025: Locanda Marzolara incarna perfettamente l'idea di un'osteria/trattoria dell'Emilia. Un menù non troppo ampio, ma che riflette l'identità culinaria della zona in cui è situata. Sono andato a cena con i miei genitori, in visita in zona, per fargli provare i piatti tipici e ne sono rimasti compiaciuti. I primi abbondanti e davvero buoni, ma il pezzo forte sono i dolci che ti fanno saltare sulla sedia! Un vero peccato l'assenza della torta fritta nel menù che è un grande classico della cucina parmense.
05/04/2025: Gnocchi alla vecchia maniera per primo e gnocchi alla vecchia maniera per secondo. Grazie per la vostra ospitalità è sempre un piacere tornare.

28/10/2024: Went on a truffle hunting exploration and made several pastas with our host Francesco. Spent most of the day experiencing traditional Italian cooking and swapping so many stories with ‘Cesco’. Highlight of a month long trip!!!
14/10/2024: Cibo delizioso. Buona ospitalità, il tutto in un angolino di verde e di pace.
Gli ultimi 500 metri di strada sono molto sterrati, ma ne vale la pena.
Tutto a base tartufo di Fragno e dolci della casa per concludere deliziosamente il pranzo
