05/08/2026: La Pergola restaurant is located in the heart of Bedonia and has been owned by the Serpagli family since 1789. Guests are welcomed in the richly furnished interior dining room or in the magnificent garden, where tables are carefully spaced out amidst the greenery, under a beautiful pergola that gives the location its name. Everything is very pleasant and well-kept. The restaurant is managed by the Serpagli sisters, who oversee both the kitchen and the service, assisted by a young and attentive staff member. Excellent cuisine, featuring some traditional Valtarese dishes, and a wine cellar stocked with top-quality labels. Recommended for a pleasant break in the historic heart of Bedonia. I forgot to mention that they welcome our four-legged friends, which is essential for me. I will return on another occasion.

09/08/2026: It's hard to find a place as special as this one; excellent, authentic cuisine, spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms, professional and friendly staff, and a crystal-clear lake 500 meters away, surrounded by greenery. Super-fair prices. It's hard to find better!

29/06/2026: I stayed with two friends. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food excellent, with a wide selection. The rooms were spartan, with everything you need (I hate TVs in the rooms), and in fact, there isn't one. The bathroom was shared, and the cleanliness was excellent. I highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: I left a great review 6 years ago. Back then, the pizza was very good and cooked in a wood-fired oven. Things have changed a lot now; they use an electric oven and undercooked pizzas, which is a shame. The chef/pizza chef also scolded us for arriving at 9:20 PM (on a Saturday), which was late for him. He told us, "Don't let that happen again!" 😳 It seems unheard of, but we won't go there anymore. The place is also a bit like that; they don't even put up the sign anymore, and if you call, they don't answer... it's obvious they're planning on closing. However, they also run a restaurant with simple, reasonably priced dishes.

15/08/2026: Very nice place but... maybe it's because today is August 15th and they didn't organize it well... ridiculous portions, endless waiting times, melted ice cream, unseasoned tortelli and a hefty bill.
