18/08/2025: What a surprise! The exterior of the restaurant might make you think of an old tavern, perhaps even with dated furnishings. Instead, the interior is completely renovated, with a modern style, but not overly so. The staff were super friendly, and the food was excellent.
I ate everything based on porcini mushrooms, and every course was truly sublime.
Well done!

01/06/2025: Il proprietario molto asciutto e poco assertivo! Poco simpatico di sicuro! Seduti alle 13 e per i dolci sono arrivato alle 15 perché sollecitati! Cibo normalissimo servizio pessimo!! Ci torno? NO
31/05/2025: Mi ci hanno portato dei miei amici che già ci erano stati e me ne avevano parlato bene.
Devo dire che il locale mi è molto piaciuto , atmosfera accogliente e non guasta la presenza di un camino che da quello che mi hanno detto in inverno lo accendono.
Per quanto riguarda il cibo , menù tradizionale e ottimo e piatti abbondanti e non risicati-
Per gli amanti del tortellino, li consiglio vivamente, piccoli e buonissimi e con quelli che mi hanno servito io ci mangiO due volte.
Ottimo il gnocco ( so che si dice lo gnocco ) ma da noi rigorosamente si dice il gnocco e pure l'affettato , buone le tigelle e il pollo alla cacciatora. Patate arrosto buone e pure i dolci.
Peccato che l'atmOsfera e la quiete sia stata disturbata da un gruppo molto numeroso di turisti, italiani e abbastanza maleducati .
Ci saremmo aspettati che il proprietario almeno gli dicesse qualcosa , (penso sarebbe stato il caso) e alcuni avventori se ne sono andati sbuffando erano veramente fastidiosi non si riusciva a parlare e a sentire quello che ci dicevamo.
A parte questa cosa abbastanza spiacevole anche il personale è molto gentile.
Prezzo non modico ma nella norma

The ingredients are excellent, and Annalisa and Andrea treat them with excellence. From appetizers to desserts, everything is extraordinary.
I appreciate the opportunity to taste everything with an excellent wine by the glass. The bill is absolutely in line with the quality of the products offered!

15/08/2025: While on vacation in Zocca, we dined at this restaurant. We were very well received and the meal was very good. There were several of us who had the opportunity to taste different and delicious starters and main courses. The service was perfect. A little extra for us French people: the cook speaks and understands our language quite well, which, given our level of Italian, was very nice. In short, we highly recommend it.

The dessert selection was limited, and I wasn't thrilled with the yogurt spread...a bit bland.
The place is well-kept and clean.

27/08/2025: We only had lunch at this inn but we had a really good time... we arrived around 2pm and were welcomed by a very kind lady who showed us to a table located on this almost marvelous veranda... the menu consisted of five first courses with all pasta made by them and 5 second courses of your choice... we ate very well in peace and serenity... we will definitely return.

Friendly staff, parking available (uncovered). We stayed in the annex (so with the possibility of own timetables) good à la carte menu, especially the fillet.

09/03/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance
taste of times gone by. The owner welcomed us with a smile and then won us over with the delicacies of his restaurant! Amazing tigelle, ciacci and borlenghi!!! Everything is strictly homemade, prepared with love, just like it used to be done in the old days. The staff is very kind and cheerful. You have to go there! Well done!
04/03/2025: On our journey today we continued from Zocca to Monteombraro (Mo), to the Versilia fair. When lunch time arrived we decided for a local restaurant; The new Odyssey: FANTASTIC!!! nice and welcoming place where Nadia and Paolo pampered us like at home and then moved on to taste their Borlenghi specialties and fried gnocco. VERY GOOD! 😋😋😋not to mention the cold cuts and cheeses that accompany these delicacies.
Everything was excellent, even the bill!! even though there was no menu displayed with prices, which can sometimes embarrass those on a limited budget. Highly recommended!!
If you pass through Monteombraro, stop here

12/07/2025: Siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti da questo ristorante: dall’accoglienza alla cura per i dettagli, ogni momento è stato speciale. I piatti erano curati e gustosi, con ingredienti di qualità e una presentazione che metteva l’acquolina in bocca. L’ambiente è intimo e raffinato, perfetto per una serata all’insegna del buon cibo e della serenità.
Un ringraziamento speciale va a Silvia, che con la sua gentilezza e professionalità ha reso la nostra esperienza ancora più memorabile. Il suo sorriso e l’attenzione verso ogni esigenza ci hanno fatti sentire coccolati e i suoi consigli sul menù si sono rivelati preziosi.
Torneremo sicuramente

The dishes were carefully prepared and tasty, with quality ingredients and mouth-watering presentation. The atmosphere is intimate and refined, perfect for an evening of good food and serenity.
A special thanks goes to Silvia, whose kindness and professionalism made our experience even more memorable. Her smile and attentiveness to every need made us feel pampered, and her suggestions for the menu were invaluable.

20/07/2025: Family-run hotel, clean, tidy, generous breakfast with a nice selection of cakes (the apple and carrot ones are amazing!), friendly staff, owner Andrea is a kind and very helpful person. The property is dated, okay, but well-kept, with cleaning staff constantly busy throughout the day. Our room was quite spacious, clean, tidy, with a TV and minibar....a beautiful view from the balcony....quiet at night....I definitely think we'll be back next year, especially considering the "strategic" location in the center of Zocca, and the very close parking. So, reading so many reviews, I'm wondering: given the rates...what do you expect? For me, what matters is cleanliness, order, kindness, and comfortable beds...which I promptly found!!!!! The bathroom is small, but very clean (we didn't get the room floor wet at all while showering!!!); towels are always clean and soft. So: excellent value!!! See you next year!!!!!

The owner is always very kind and helpful. I asked for two favors, both of which were granted without a problem. The bathroom is small but spotlessly clean, the bowl is practically a bathroom, but with a little forethought, everything can be done without a problem. The price and quality are unbeatable.
Initially, seeing the negative reviews, I was very skeptical about my reservation, but I have to say I'll be back next year.
The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. Besides the excellent dessert buffet, I'd add something savory.

16/07/2025: Nice, welcoming place with good food and service.
It's a shame it's nestled in a building next to a market, which makes parking your bike difficult and makes you feel like you're always in the way.
We usually go to the bar in the square, which is worse in every way, but it has very accessible parking, and bikers love to look at each other's bikes and chat.
