19/07/2024: Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Io ho preso il filetto al pepe verde, che era tenerissimo; mio marito e mia figlia hanno preso due primi. C'è anche il buffet di verdure con diverse pietanze sfiziose.
I dolci ottimi, soprattutto la torta al cioccolato farcita al pistacchio... mi piacerebbe molto avere la ricetta della base di pan di spagna al cioccolato :-)
16/07/2024: Let's start with the food: simple and tasty typical cuisine, well-made and well-presented dishes. All good, and the battered courgettes are memorable. The service was impeccable, without chatter and without frills but quick and attentive: they welcomed us without batting an eyelid at 2pm on a Sunday in July. Slightly dated furnishings of an authentic trattoria, which could be renewed but ultimately contribute to the atmosphere. Impeccable bathrooms. The prices are very affordable, considering the abundance and quality. A visit to the picturesque medieval village of Savignano will be a good excuse to stop here and eat!

04/08/2024: As a guest of friends on a lunch break, after over 25 years I returned to this place which has kept the charm of the 80s premises intact. We ate traditional Modena dishes such as fried gnocco and tigelle accompanied by good cured meats. Rich opening buffet with battered vegetables, roasted potatoes and much more, accompanied by a pleasant Lambrusco. Air-conditioned room, ample parking and very kind owner. Also suitable for families, correct prices.
01/08/2024: Dopo 2 anni in occasione del compleanno di mia moglie ritorniamo alla spiaggetta a cena e come sempre il nostro voto e 100 e lode nella qualità e quantita ottimo e magnifico il buffet arricchito di tutto squisiti i tortellini sia in brodo che alla panna anche il secondo gnocco e tigelle con salumi con vino e acqua

14/07/2024: We had a wonderful lunch. Traditional place that reminds me of the beauty of Emilia when we really ate Emiliano. Cleanliness, courtesy. Excellent tortellini, stewed ribs accompanied by tigelle. Top desserts and wines. Super honest prices. 😋 We will be back

15/08/2024: The restaurant itself is lucky enough to be located in a pleasant hilly area and certainly with a beautiful structure and a decent view. Too bad the food is rather mediocre in quality and the service leaves something to be desired. Midweek evening with a group of people, dishes that had to be requested a thousand times to arrive, coffee never arriving so much so that at a certain point we got up to leave because it was now late and we didn't think it was worth continuing to wait. Continuous deafening music in several places, therefore it was rather difficult to communicate with the other diners. Prices definitely overpriced compared to quality and service.
12/08/2024: We booked for the swimming pool and we didn't regret it even after reading some reviews that were too negative in my opinion. There are certainly things that could be improved but overall the Gelso Bianco is a nice location to spend a nice day by the pool.

Abundant and tasty dishes.
Friendliness and friendliness.
We arrived late. But you eat until 3.30pm, served at the top.
Worth trying for anyone passing by.

11/08/2024: We were passing through and chose this restaurant because of the good rating of 4.5. However, how this comes about is a mystery to me.
First we were dumped on the hot terrace and then we were kept waiting for a very long time. In hindsight it would have been better to leave again.
An average restaurant in an unpleasant environment.
03/08/2024: I went back with some friends after a few years, I don't know if they have changed management, but the fish was terrible, embarrassing value for money, a strong cooking smell in the place, evidently the extraction isn't working properly. It was a huge disappointment! Next time we will opt for Japanese, we spend less than half and the quality of the food is better!

21/07/2024: I only had dinner with 2 first courses, tagliatelle with ragù and old modena tortelloni, then tigelle and fried crescentine with cured meats, pesto and cheeses, half a liter of house Lambrusco, water and a grappa, all good, the tortelloni were a little too seasoned. Nice outdoor location overlooking the plain, average prices.
07/07/2024: Avendo bei ricordi dopo qualche mese abbiamo deciso di tornare. Il posto si trova tra le colline della provincia di Modena e Bologna ed è bello e panoramico. Prima delusione, mancanza totale del menù, cosa che prima non succedeva. Piatti buoni con giuste quantità. Servizio attento e simpatico.
Delusione il conto totale dove compare solo la voce "pasto" ed il prezzo. Nel passato il conto era dettagliato e comunque 40 euro a testa per quello che si è mangiato, sono troppi. Secondo me è cambiata la gestione.

11/08/2024: Very nice and clean place. They were very helpful in solving the temperature problem by turning down the heating. The service was very fast and the dishes were presented very well. There is a lot of choice between sushi and Japanese cuisine. The Sushi is good but I missed a bit of taste, that something that makes me say "this is really good, I would go back just to be able to taste it another time". The flavor is pleasant but, for my taste, very uniform even if the ingredients change.
08/08/2024: Excellent cuisine... I didn't like the service 100%... On the other hand, the environment and quality of the food compensate for the small gaps in the service.

02/09/2024: We stopped one night for a few days of cycling holiday. Everything we requested for our needs were fulfilled. Attentive, polite and courteous staff. The fixed menu dinner is varied and of high quality. The à la carte menu is very interesting. Thanks to Antonio for his professionalism and availability

Nice outdoor veranda, shame it's close to the road and at certain times the traffic is quite noisy.

21/07/2024: Poco fa sono stato in questa gelateria essendo di passaggio in macchina a Savignano sul Panaro. Un attimo prima di me entrano due signore che chiedono delle confezioni da chilo; le due ragazze poco solerti nel servirle, impiegano almeno cinque minuti tra incertezze nella scelta dei gusti e lentezza nel riempire le vaschette. Mentre una delle signore paga entrano due ragazzi che salutano le gelataie. Quella libera chiede loro che cosa volessero. Io faccio notare che ero lì da cinque minuti e che toccava a me essere servito. La ragazza mi guarda basita e sottolinea che non glielo avevo fatto notare abbastanza amabilmente. Il che non era vero. Certamente la ragazza non era molto professionale perché se non ricorda in presenza di due sole persone chi deve servire sarebbe meglio che chiedesse a chi tocca invece di servire i suoi amici entrati per ultimi. Direi che non è stata amabile lei con me dandomi lezioni di bon ton; dovrebbe prendere lei lezioni di galateo.

24/07/2024: Got 2 takeaway pizzas that were really good. I highly recommend it as a pizzeria.
The style fall is to give 1 free can with 2 pizzas. In my opinion, you either give a pizza can as all pizzerias do or you don't give any at all (there are also those who don't actually give them). So instead it passes a "cheap" message that damages the image for nothing.
20/04/2024: Good pizzeria with both on-site consumption and home delivery. The pizza is thin and well-stuffed and they also make very good fried foods. Delivery on time and correct price.. Recommended.
