04/01/2026: A pleasant experience! I returned to the scottadito after many years. I had a fond memory of it, and it was only confirmed! We had the burgers, all prepared locally, and you could taste it...tasty and light. Our daughter had a cutlet with fries, which was tasty and clearly breaded by the chefs. The place is very welcoming, still wrapped in a Christmassy atmosphere... what can I say...well done, well done! A place with excellent value in Cesena.

23/09/2025: In the hills of Cesena, at Villa Monty Banks, you forget time and find yourself making "peace with the world," pampered by a competent and esteemed staff. Thanks to Fabio De Luigi, who, with the film he directed and starred in alongside Stefano Bonaccorsi, "50 Km All'Ora," where some scenes from the sweet, melancholic comedy were filmed, a couple of months ago my husband booked our vacation as a couple for the first two weeks of August, and there we found something we hadn't expected. An enviable location, overlooking a poetic and photographable panorama, from whose "terrace" you can enjoy an "impromptu" gourmet brunch or a relaxing aperitif, cheered all day by an ever-present breeze that, thanks to the beautiful centuries-old trees that frame the villa, managed to counteract the Saharan heat of early August. A welcoming, clean atmosphere, a tranquil atmosphere, and discreet background music ranging from Mina to Sinatra, from Modugno to Diana Krall, from Aznavour to Vanoni, offering a sense of relaxation in a period residence that its generous founder—the early 20th-century actor, dancer, director, and producer Mario Bianchi, aka Monty Banks—wanted to build as a place to return to with his wife, actress Gracie Fields, when they were in Italy, having moved to America from Cesena, where he found his fortune. More recently, while maintaining as much of its style and structure as possible, the residence has become a luxury agriturismo, with just 11 comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms. Guests can enjoy the products (worth buying!) that come from the surrounding lands, which the young and talented chef Alberto Pinelli (a self-effacing yet passionate culinary artist) reinterprets in the evenings in creative and exquisite dishes, which non-guests can also enjoy. Breakfast begins the day in an original way, a good morning that deserves to be enjoyed calmly and unhurriedly, on the romantic veranda filled with exotic and oriental-style plants, with the sounds of cicadas and birds creating a unique and relaxing atmosphere, and with authentic Italian flavors. An ideal good morning to prepare for visiting the worthy surroundings like Bertinoro, Cervia, Santarcangelo di Romagna, and Cesenatico, or to reach Rimini or Ravenna with a truly special guide, Arianna, who also takes care of welcoming guests. There's another feminine touch behind all this attention to detail: Erika, the hotel manager, is always present and available. I also forgot about the beautiful pool, a great place to cool off from the heat, another reason to laze around after a nice dip, reading a book, chatting, or simply recharging your batteries.

16/09/2025: Villa Monty Banks is a truly exceptional property, but what truly made our vacation special was the professionalism and kindness of the entire staff. They welcomed us with genuine generosity, pampering us and making us feel truly at home. The food at their restaurant, L'Agrosteria, is also excellent. Special thanks to Arianna, Debora, and Luca. We will definitely be back!

01/11/2025: Excellent Romagna cuisine and delicious fresh pasta. A casual atmosphere inside Cesena's covered market. Good for a quick lunch on-site, or for takeout, both fresh pasta and hot dishes. One of the few places in the historic center serving authentic Romagna cuisine.

18/10/2025: Well worth seeking out for quality pasta dishes at very reasonable prices. The location in the middle of a shopping arcade may not be the most scenic but the food more than makes up for it.

08/09/2025: I went to this pool today and was absolutely thrilled! A beautiful place, beautifully maintained and equipped, with a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, always smiling and ready to help. The pool is truly large and spacious, with a depth of up to 3 meters. The hot tub is also beautiful, very modern and incredibly comfortable. The bar is well-stocked and has everything you need to enjoy your day to the fullest. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back.

22/12/2025: Excellent food and relatively quick service, despite there being about thirty of us. But I'm giving it three stars because two of them were lost when it came to the bill: the total, paying the Roman fare, came to about €27 per person, but the manager said, "Let's make it a round figure: €30 per person!" It's true, paying three euros more certainly won't change our lives, but I don't like people who use these methods to extort money from customers. It's a shame, because aside from that, it's an excellent restaurant.

25/01/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times, both as a couple and with 5-6 people. The food has always been excellent, with typical dishes you won't find anywhere else, and a huge variety and selection. The century-old eggs, marinated in soy sauce and served with tofu, are incredibly delicious. Excellent value, and the portions are generous. Better than many all-you-can-eat restaurants around.

17/01/2026: For lunch, we had an excellent Florentine steak for two, weighing 1.2 kilos, mixed salad with piadina, and gratinated vegetables. Everything was perfect, highly recommended.

27/08/2025: We stopped at La Piada Loca on our way back from Puglia to Lombardy, and it was a truly memorable experience! The dough is excellent, light and flavorful, with fresh and well-matched ingredients. The piadinas are generous and made fresh, with a level of attention to detail you can taste from the first bite. The service is fast and friendly, making them ideal for those traveling but don't want to compromise on quality. Highly recommended!

28/11/2025: Over the years, I believe the quality of gluten-free options has declined significantly. One evening this week, I ate a sausage and broccoli rabe pizza for €12.50, plus €3.50 for being gluten-free (a price tag). Furthermore, the pizza was smaller than the one made with "normal" flour, and it tasted like a pre-cooked pizza (biscuitous). For a €16 pizza, I definitely expected more. I'm sorry, but I was very disappointed. As for the service, I have to say I didn't like it: it was inaccurate, with information and directions in fits and starts. If there's a QR code on the placemat (made of printed paper) and I'm about to read the menu on my phone, don't come and tell me, after I've already ordered, "Anyway, the menu is also on the back of the placemat." The staff at an AIC restaurant should know if the new menu (of the restaurant) includes gluten-free options. What a shame.

17/01/2026: The ice cream is good, but it is NOT possible sometimes to pay for a €4 cone and receive it the same size as a €3 one... I would carefully review the dimensions because a difference of this kind is not possible!

30/11/2025: Very friendly staff I had a schiacciata with tartare (a different pizza than usual), which was very good. The only flaw was the buzz in the dining room, so you couldn't have a conversation without raising your voice a bit.
