15/02/2026: No longer a restaurant. Just a hotel. We stopped here for one night and had a wonderful time. We were greeted with great warmth and friendliness by Francesca, who runs the property, which has been in her family since 1880, with love and passion. There's still a wonderful 1920s lounge. The room was excellently clean, quiet, and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. This place lacks modern amenities and comforts, but it's steeped in history.

03/06/2026: 4* WITH SOME 5* AMENITIES Well-maintained property, retaining the charm of its origins. Dated furnishings: harmonious in the common areas, almost Franciscan in the rooms 😉, nonetheless made comfortable by the parquet floors and the high level of soundproofing, at least in the DLX rooms. The added value of the hotel lies in the services and the staff. HK Department: super-efficient, on the floors you can notice Mrs. Nadia, who with passion and attentiveness makes the stay more comfortable, with the approval of the attentive housekeeper. The daily toiletries include a generous amount of sponge kits, the latter of heavy weight (5*), soft and white, and bed linen in good branded percale. Critical issues: single spring mattresses and non-ergonomic pillows. Bathtub/shower with a movable showerhead, water handles without a mixer. Good wall-mounted hairdryer, a semi-professional model, nothing like the usual intermittent minimal ones. Evening turndown service and daily bed linen change (a 5* service). Slow WiFi. Kindness and attention also from the maintenance and porter staff who man the entrances and pool. F&B department: super-efficient. The staff is compact, discreet yet omnipresent, attentive and helpful. Led by Metre Mimmo, an example of experience and applied passion, a key figure in the facility. Equally worthy of mention is the kitchen brigade, expertly led by Chef Cosimo Naglieri, with its traditional gourmet lineup. The evening restaurant is not to be missed. Brk buffet: varied and high-quality, with a daily display of fresh salmon, cheeses, and fruit; the well-stocked cereal, granola, and dried fruit corner (34 flavors), baked goods, and homemade pastries are a standout. The coffee is also excellent, predominantly Arabica, made from short-roasted, dry beans. A highly recommended hotel, of course!
02/06/2026: A simply unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a rare level of friendliness and professionalism. The service was excellent in every way: the staff were always smiling, attentive, and available to satisfy every request. Special praise for the welcome, which undoubtedly deserves a 10 out of 10. The staff's helpfulness was impeccable throughout our stay, making us feel pampered and at home. The well-kept facility, pleasant atmosphere, and attention to detail truly make the difference. It was an experience we will fondly remember and will definitely make us return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, courteous, and quality holiday.
