26/08/2025: We've been to this traditional osteria several times and are always impressed. The cuisine is based on typical regional dishes, with some of the vegetables grown on site. The menu offers various meat dishes and pasta dishes. The bigoli are sensational! The wines, a good selection, are also from local vineyards. The garden is a comfortable place to sit under the canopy of a large vine. The service is friendly and attentive, and the language barrier can be bridged with English. The osteria is always busy, so reservations are definitely required.

Run by a long-standing local family, the restaurant has distinguished itself over the years, while retaining some of the traditional features and dishes that have defined it in the past. The menu offers dishes for all tastes, with off-menu options available upon request. On certain evenings, roast fowl, expertly prepared by the owner, is also available. The boiled meats are a must-try. The wine list is extensive and caters to all budgets. Prices are in line with the offerings.

24/08/2025: Excellent value. We ordered three first courses and two second courses: macaroni, gnocchi, and bigoli with duck, as well as two Venetian-style livers. The pasta sauce didn't blend well and was a bit separated. The liver, however, was very flavorful, accompanied by a light polenta, not as heavy as it often is. I usually find polenta a bit heavy, but I was able to finish this one with pleasure. I expected the amount of liver to be small, but instead it was perfectly proportioned to the polenta. I would recommend the bigoli with duck and liver, paired with a full-bodied wine.

08/08/2025: It's a shame the expectations were high, but unfortunately they weren't met. They were slow to serve even water, and it took an hour to bring a veal with tuna sauce for a child, honestly, is too long. If you also get the bill wrong, the review can't be positive. Let's hope it was a bad night, but next time I hope they can surprise me like the location. The guy at the entrance was very friendly and courteous.

12/08/2025: We had dinner with friends on a central street in Bassano. The meal was excellent, with well-prepared first courses served by friendly staff. Typical specialties like creamed cod and bigoli pasta—all good and reasonably priced. We'll be back, as we do every year! :-)

26/07/2025: My experience didn't leave me entirely satisfied. In my opinion, a Venetian trattoria should offer good food at a fair price/quality ratio. Now, €25 per person for a single main course and a shared appetizer/side dish isn't enough. Maybe I'm out of touch, but if I have a full meal, would it cost €45 per person? The polenta in the tagliata is paid separately, but does that seem normal to you? Not to me. Sometimes it doesn't take much, rounding up the bill or offering a liqueur, as was done in the past. Now, customers come and go. One by one, my regulars are disappearing, like Tonello's. UPDATE: I was sick all night after eating there.

11/06/2025: I had a divine dinner, I ate fish, obviously you have to book and let me know if you want something special. the chef was very kind and good, with original recipes and the lady in the dining room was very kind. Family atmosphere, it's an old-style trattoria....highly recommended.

16/08/2025: The appetizer arrived after 30 minutes, the first course took another 30-40 minutes, and the second course after an hour. I should point out that there were only 12 of us and the other table was 6. It wasn't full, but leaving the table after 4 hours was excessive. Plus, almost everything was drowned in oil, from the baked potatoes to the gnocchi.

12/08/2025: Excellent dining experience. We arrived by chance and discovered a beautiful and welcoming trattoria with a lovely outdoor terrace in a pleasantly quiet setting. Excellent service, managed by two young and cheerful women, was the foundation of a wonderful dining experience. Everything was delicious. The gnochetti with porcini mushrooms, scamorza cheese, and sausage, and the bigoli with duck sauce were special, as were the Vicenza-style cod and the tagliata, all accompanied by an excellent house wine (in many trattorias, the house wine isn't guaranteed to be good). The menu was well-stocked and the quality/price ratio was truly excellent. We'll definitely be back.
