04/10/2025: A wonderful evening with friends in a place steeped in tradition. The atmosphere is typical of a 1970s and 1980s trattoria, but the service has definitely updated in terms of quality and sophistication. All the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the breathtakingly delicious local risotto, a cheese platter, and an exceptional beef fillet. The apple pie with mascarpone cream capped off a truly remarkable culinary experience. The wine list and staff expertise are also well above average.

12/09/2025: Business lunch. The girls are very kind and the service is excellent. The lunch menu is excellent. The atmosphere is elegant and quiet.

22/06/2025: Food from all courses absolutely delicious with lovely unexpected additions. Service a perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. Frequently underwhelmed when eating out in Italy as the food is often overhyped. So pleased to say that this experience was to the contrary. Recommended, and will definitely return when next in beautiful Verona.

21/06/2025: I ended up in Lavagno by chance and was lucky enough to discover Cantina Battisti. Very friendly staff, details offered by the house and delicious dishes. Bigoli and a tray of boiled meats are a must-try. The bill was unsurprising. An excellent idea to be able to take half portions. In addition to the restaurant, a nice outdoor space for an aperitif, for next time!

10/09/2025: This place was recommended by the owner of our Airbnb. The atmosphere was lovely and the good was excellent. So was the wine! The menu was typically from the area. The staff wave charming and very funny.

08/09/2025: The quintessential osteria in Verona. A two-course menu for €26 is a real bargain! The food is very good, and the service is quick and friendly, but that's the beauty of this osteria. Don't miss the bigoli with duck or horse meat and the grilled colt meatballs. Highly recommended!

09/10/2025: The trattoria par excellence, with generous dishes, a great atmosphere 😃, and very fair prices, all complemented by the kindness of the staff. It never disappoints (the duck bigoli is a must!).

08/10/2025: Discovered because I was in the area for work. We had a very good lunch with fair prices and excellent service. I recommend booking. They also have an outdoor seating area. Free street parking.

09/09/2025: This place is a little gem. Off the beaten track but worth finding. Welcome was warm and genuine, lovely cosy atmosphere. Food is very authentic, but beautifully presented. All the dishes are regional specialties but with a little twist, especially with the presentation. Not the cheapest spot in town but then you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for top notch regional specialty food this is the place.

14/08/2025: We made a reservation weeks in advance. My husband and I were looking forward to eating here. I don't know if it was a bad day for the restaurant or just one of those off days but the service was lacking. We felt rushed and forgotten at the same time, almost unwelcomed. I kept asking the waiter from the table next to us, for more wine and the dessert menu. He was nice but I could tell he also got annoyed with our waiter and he would send our waiter when our cups and plates were empty because we were just waiting there. The gentleman sitting next to us had to get up from his table to get our waiter, which was also his waiter. Very odd day. The food was good and so was the wine that was suggested for us. But that was eclipsed by the service.
