06/01/2025: Let's forget the whole local patriotic superstructure and the anticipatory reviews, then with two people and a bill of just over a hundred euros we get a good 3. A friend said after looking at the photos: it looks like mom's and that's what it was . Solid, not very sophisticated cuisine, sometimes mom managed it really well, sometimes not. We would particularly like to highlight the risotto with salciccia and radiccio, which was really balanced between the four main ingredients and was really something new. I don't even want to imagine which dark fishing boat the tough, surly cod came from. My stomach had a lot to do with it. The house wines are not worth mentioning, but the café afterwards is. The service did its job. You should also make a reservation during the week because it is absolutely full.

06/01/2025: Farmhouse surrounded by greenery, perfect for those who want to unplug. Helpful staff, we stayed at the property for a wedding and they gave us the possibility of checking in early, which not everyone gives you. Breakfast with fresh and delicious products. Well soundproofed and spacious room. The only flaw was that we were not provided with the bathroom kits as per the description. We recommend an improvement in the showers, as ours had a simple curtain and no riser, thus causing the water to leak.

25/11/2024: A beautiful modern tavern where the dishes are genuine, tasty and with excellent raw materials. Specialized in meat (tartare and cuts mainly) but there are also alternative options. The first courses are also excellent, fragrant and steaming like our bigoli with duck ragù. Recommended! Nice selection of wines (mostly Venetian).

16/11/2024: Sliced ​​with fuji apples and mustard, an experience for the palate, as is the caponata and the sbrisolona with fig jam! Really recommended. Everything perfect!

Mario e Mercedes is an unmissable stop for anyone visiting Padua and wanting to taste traditional Venetian cuisine in a welcoming and romantic environment. With a long tradition and particular attention to detail, this trattoria offers an authentic and unforgettable dining experience.

27/12/2024: Elegant and welcoming place, impeccable service, excellent dishes, balanced quality/price ratio. I recommend you try the guinea fowl with raisins and pine nuts, a true delicacy for the palate. These people have been doing catering for over 70 years and are among the best in the city. Congratulations to all of you from the bottom of my heart!

22/01/2025: Avrei volentieri dato 4/5 stelle per ciò che ho mangiato, ma il servizio è una delle cose principali e importanti all’interno di un ristorante. Colui che ci ha fatto il conto e ci ha preso l’ordine al tavolo è stato sgarbato nei modi, creando anche dall’imbarazzo: non posso pensare che se vado in un locale e ordino 5 primi di cui due uguali e un pasticcio mi si venga a dire “eh però abbiamo solo 3 cestelli”. Anche se avessimo avuto 5 primi differenti e senza pasticcio (non mi risulta serva il cestello) una risposta del genere non va data. Come altre che non sto a citare. Peccato perché la cucina è davvero buona, tutti i piatti sono ad un livello molto buono e da tradizione.

17/01/2025: Ottima osteria tipica dal sapore e atmosfera antica ma gestita in modo "fresco" da un gruppo di giovani. Piatti della tradizione veneta cucinati benissimo e con ottime materie prime a dei prezzi molto molto onesti. La prossima volta proverò le specialità tipicamente padovane. 06/01/2025: Hospitable and homely restaurant, excellent food with minimal waiting, and above all very friendly and approachable staff. Typical local menu with the right choice of side dishes, first and second courses. Absolutely recommended as a restaurant.

06/01/2025: Got in Padova with a friend for a holiday, after reading about the place the very first night we decided to go and give it a try: fabulous! So the following days we haven't changed the restaurant, great people, nice food, good atmosphere, feel like home Keep going like that Ps: one thing, the cost of the water is a little too high

04/12/2024: We happened to be in the area and had to have lunch, we asked a guy from the area who recommended this place to us, we were really satisfied! Cozy, warm place, friendly and quick staff, the food is really really excellent, good and healthy raw materials! You can tell right from the dishes the care and quality of the food! If I'm in the area again I will definitely return!
