The owner advises you and worries if the plate is not empty and only calms down if you tell him it was too much... and it's true. I recommend the sea prawns, spider crab and cappelonga. First the broth. With the coffee comes some amazing homemade treats

Impeccable service from very kind and knowledgeable staff. Wines paired perfectly with dishes. We will definitely be back. Price aligned with the quality of the lunch.

02/04/2024: Easter Monday, with infamous continuous rain that has accompanied us since the morning! Nice little place, (towards the Euganean hills, which have their charm...), a super crowded place with people, (it was raining cats and dogs outside!!!) but everything in order, a
nice effect! Well prepared and plentiful food. Price is right, therefore ok. Very good location. Young and polite service staff. The "male" waiters are a solid 10: very polite and attentive to the customer's needs: in particular a young man with short, curly, auburn-blond hair, with a big smile (I didn't ask his name...sob. ..) really helpful and attentive! Kind owner. I will gladly return.

It is a farmhouse so the menu is not à la carte, but what is on offer satisfies the palate.
03/03/2024: Location bella e curata. Non c'è menu alla carta, ma un percorso di piatti caserecci molto buoni e saporiti (antipasto, 2 primi, 2 secondi, 2 contorni e misto di dolci) . Un plauso al gallo in tecia!! portate generose, servite in maniera pacata ma attenta. Rapporto qualità prezzo nel complesso molto buona. Ci tornerò sicuramente..

Few but well-finished dishes, friendly staff attentive to requests.
Chef Marco was very helpful in explaining the dishes and making small changes to the dishes.
Excellent price/quality, especially for the quality of the raw materials.
Worth a try if in the area.

05/04/2024: Intrigued by the name, I entered and, after a few minutes of waiting, a gentleman approached and asked if it was possible to have lunch. Kindly, he sat me down at the table and brought me a menu. Really tasty dishes and well harmonized with the spices. A seared octopus that melted in your mouth. Followed by cod (here I would have expected a nice whole piece of cod but that wasn't the case) with a delicately flavored cream. Natural strawberries for dessert. All accompanied by a glass of not bad vintage Trento DOC. Good service and kindness of the staff were the setting for a beautiful picture. Thanks for the hospitality.
24/03/2024: Good food, but small portions. 4 euro cover charge each seems excessive to me, considering that you have to pay for water separately.

13/01/2024: Very welcoming environment and staff very attentive to customer needs and requests. Good dishes, without unnecessary frills, the spit surprised me since I'm not a fan of chicken meat, very wide choice of wines. Highly recommended!
07/01/2024: Ambiente accogliente e pulito, personale gentile. Piatti buoni, peccato per il muffin di radicchio e zucca con cuore di mozzarella, nel quale né quest’ultima né la zucca si sentivano.
I primi si fanno mangiare.
Lo spiedo merita ed anche i vari contorni.
I dolci tutti buoni.
Prezzi onesti. Lo consiglio.

27/03/2024: Classical Italian restaurant with large tables. Ideal for group dinner as well as business ones. Seasonal and local dishes.
Great choice of Italian wines. Excellent service. A bit noisy when crowded. Outdoor seating available. Good price for the quality and service. Reservation is highly recommended because can be really crowded. .
03/03/2024: Absolutely super delicious!! I went there for lunch during a business trip. Both the first course and the second were great but very filling. It was almost too much. For the first course I had a typical Italian pasta dish and for the second course I had meat with radicchio.

We went a bit for the cheaper and more classic side of the menu, but were pleasantly surprised by several things about the food. 👍
1. Huge portions. Normally that's kind of considered a bad sign, but in this case it was actually quite good.
2. Really good quality, contrary to expectations. The carbonara was probably the best I had on our trip, it was authentic and you could taste the ingredients.
3. The service was really good, but you could tell that they were a bit busy, plus a bit of a language barrier due to the lack of English.
4. Good local atmosphere and local feeling in the restaurant. We felt welcome and well treated. 😄
Highly recommended as a place to get a large authentic portion of food.
