03/11/2025: We visited for lunch on a Friday in late October. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, able to speak Italian and French with the customers at various tables. Each dish has its own explanation and story, and guests learn every detail of the products they taste. We felt at home.

14/11/2025: We stopped for lunch after a walk; the place was very clean and welcoming. The staff was super professional; the waiters regularly checked to make sure everything was OK at the table and were always ready to replace cutlery or bread. Excellent food, well-balanced value for money. I recommend trying the Goose.
06/11/2025: We had lunch on Sunday at Osteria dell'Oca and it was a truly excellent experience! The cured meats were fresh and tasty, accompanied by delicious, well-selected cheeses. The polenta and carbonada were simply exquisite, dishes rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The Valpellinese soup was also truly excellent, warm and comforting, as authentic Valdostan cuisine should be.
Welcoming place, friendly staff, and quick service.
A place where you can sense the care and passion for good food—highly recommended! 👏🍷🍽️

03/11/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant, just steps from the Porta Pretoriana in Aosta. The staff was friendly but not always emphatic; a smile wouldn't hurt. The location was simple, a bit spartan, and not particularly original considering its location. The food was good, though the presentation of some dishes was a bit sloppy. The price was average for the area.
03/11/2025: Excellent in every way, truly! I looked for days for a place to eat in Aosta, and after dozens of restaurants I chose this one, and I couldn't have made a better choice! Excellent food, I had the crespelle, the fondue, and a meat dish that I don't remember the name of but I'll leave a photo. Each thing was better than the last! The place is also really beautiful. I can't wait to go back, I left my heart here!

14/11/2025: Everything was very good, but I would reevaluate the waiting staff, especially one very grumpy waiter.
11/11/2025: Unfortunately, it was a truly awful experience.
I ordered tagliolini with rosemary-flavored beef ragù: they arrived raw. I pointed this out, but despite my insistence on keeping them (I was in a hurry and had to get back to work), they took my plate away.
In the meantime, I asked for room-temperature sparkling water: I was told it wasn't cold, but rather ice-cold.
My friend had tomato soup that tasted only of acid. At that point, I ordered polenta, because I was still hungry... and it arrived cold, with tons of butter and very little polenta.
The service was rude and annoying, from the first waiter to the last. We had to ask for the receipt, and the waiter, while moving the bread basket, even managed to put his finger in the water glass.
We were hoping that at least the kitchen would save the evening, but instead, it was completely disappointing from start to finish.
We will never return. 👎
