08/02/2025: Vine aquí a mitad de semana con un grupo grande. Hicimos reserva, y el restaurante hizo frente admirablemente. Este es un restaurante muy bueno que ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio. La comida es italiana y variada. No hubo quejas de nadie. Si vas a asistir a una conferencia en el centro MiCo y quieres un lugar local para una cena, este es un gran restaurante auténtico para visitar.

The prices are fair and it also has a large adjacent car park.
It's one of those places where everything is fine but you can't find a valid reason to return.

07/08/2025: Terrible service. It took at least 10 minutes for a person to greet us and take our order. When we asked for the person to take our order, they seemed displeased and had a terrible attitude.
The person who served us expected us to tell them our entire order with no hesitation and was incredibly rude about it. When one member of our party was confused about the menu, the waiter proceeded to get upset that we didn’t have our entire order ready.
Food was awful. Avocado toast was extremely sour, and the poached egg was undercooked.
Would NOT recommend eating here. If I could put a 0 star review, I would not hesitate. Please spend your money elsewhere :)
28/07/2025: I've been coming for years for the beauty of the square, but the decay has been progressive, now intolerable. The service is terrible, and it's been terrible for years, and I'm not the only one writing about it. Now it's a chasm of rudeness. You're served at your table with a huff, rudely, hastily, and impolitely, as if they were doing you a favor, as if you were a nuisance. The menu has changed. Muffins used to be included, I remember them being huge and delicious, now it's a "cake bite," a scrap of cheesecake the size of a coin, which is pitiful, if it weren't tragic, given the sky-high prices. The yogurt used to be served in a splendid bowl overflowing with fruit and granola, now it's a small plate with two strawberries. People sit at a table without knowing they needed a reservation and are rudely shooed away without consideration, a disgrace.
A landslide has hit California Bakery; between rudeness and the spoiled food, it's a place you shouldn't spend the mountain of money they ask for.
End of an era, we will never return.

03/03/2025: Il posto è carino,loro molto simpatici e gentili anche se si urlano trai tavoli come se fosse napoli tra una finestra e laltr😄.
Ma arrivando a quel che interessa a noi:
Parlando del pranzo scialatiello ai frutti di mare sugo di brutto gusto,dava l'idea di un sugo di carne della sera prima cozze una pietà mosce e color marrone non il classico arancione che si dovrebbe vedere, praticamente disidratate.
Pasta senza alcun sapore...
Presenza di carne in codesto piatto, praticamente in breve questi ci hanno dato gli avanzi del Giorno prima, sicuramente.
Piatto di spaghetti allo scoglio gamberi praticamente si capiva benissimo che erano stati ricucinati una seconda volta,avanzi del Giorno prima praticamente.
Vongole disidratate immangiabili.
Il tutto dal sapore insipido...
Secondi un piatto con tonno alla griglia,buono,accettabile.
Piatto di gamberoni con frutta molto buona e bellissima insalata...
Buoni i gamberoni anche se li spacciavano per freschi,invece avevano il tipicissimo colore di gambero surgelato....
Insomma mangiato non malissimo,male.
