14/07/2024: Io e mio marito abbiamo vissuto a Milano per molti anni prima di trasferirci e, nonostante l'ampia offerta di ristoranti, ogni volta che siamo in città, i posti in cui amiamo tornare si contano sulle dita di una mano. L'Horse è tra questi. Proposta di cucina trentin-siciliana, non è il locale milanese di tendenza, ma il posto in cui mangerete sempre bene e con cui farete sempre bella figura se avete ospiti. Ristorante nel "nostro" quartiere, dal look retró e romantico, con candele e luci soffuse e infine tanti tanti curiosi e deliziosi cavalli di cui i gestori sono appassionati (sono di parte da ex cavallerizza!). Il menù è tutto ottimo, ma noi siamo in questo caso per il nostro "solito": bruschetta alla siciliana senz'aglio e gamberi caldi su letto di carciofi crudi per iniziare, a seguire le tagliate con i porcini e per finire l'immancabile cannolo. Tutto accompagnato da un ottimo Lagrein. Carlo e il fidato Franco non deludono mai. Andateci e non ve ne pentirete!

15/03/2024: Absolutely the best place to eat in the Cit Turin area (Piazza Benefica): from breakfast, with croissants, pancakes, muffins and focaccelle, all prepared every morning, to lunch with a second course for €11 and a trio for €12, glass of water included. High quality cuisine, different dishes every day and a vast choice to be able to combine your own dishes. Possibility of takeaway: very convenient even if you don't have any ideas for dinner at home. Daily availability of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Unbeatable quality/price ratio.

19/08/2024: If you are not capable of serving people it is better to only do takeaway. We often abandoned the table because we waited too long (25 minutes for a coffee and a fruit juice). Unsympathetic to the problem and not at all empathetic. In Sicilian pastry shops you don't just look for quality but also courtesy which unfortunately you have forgotten. On the same street there are nice and special places where they treat you well. Goodbye

19/08/2024: A true paradise for those who know about Sicilian desserts and specialties. I went on Sunday for the first time and I had a great time, the owners even offered me an almond biscuit after breakfast. Absurdly excellent recommendation that the rotisserie I purchased for dinner! You'll see me again soon!

31/07/2024: We try this place in Milan, convinced by a friend from Palermo who knows the historic restaurant of his city well. I can't say anything about Palermo as I've only heard the stories, but I fear that the Milanese experiment is moving towards the usual sterile McDonald's model chain... The welcoming place and the discreet food, the girls are fabulous, very kind and helpful, but it lacks the Sicilian touch that you can expect when booking in this type of venue. In short, apart from the famous name, little substance, you can find better things in Milan.

29/07/2024: Main course ok nothing more. Highlight on dessert. In particular, the tiramisu was very popular. Thanks to the head waiter for getting us to make these desserts even though the waiter refused. We tipped for the trouble... but overall not a great experience.

14/07/2024: Locale assurdo! Entri e ti sembra di stare negli anni 70/80 tranne i prezzi che sono degli anni 2030!. Non scrivo mai recensioni ma questo locale se lo merita tutto. Partiamo con posate rovinate dal brillante con i bicchieri alla base sbeccati rovinati anch'essi , ma noi ci siamo fatti sopra una risata. Non c'è un menù con i prezzi! Arriva il titolare che ti elenca 2000 cose dall'antipasto ai secondi. Alla fine optiamo per due antipasti di carpaccio che si capisce alla fine che sono di qualità mediocre. Pane insieme ci portano una focaccia (piccola)tagliata a pezzettini, attenzione la pagate! Dopo abbiamo ordinato uno spaghetto ai frutti di mare, che si sente esi vede nettamente che sono quelli surgelati dalla Lidl ,con spaghetti di pessima qualità. La mia compagna un fritto misto MISERO! OVVIAMENTE SURGELATO! senza avere un menù come fa il cliente a capire quali sono i cibi surgelati? Un caffè e uno dec. Alla modica cifra di 100€!! Ah scusate una di acqua e ben due calici di vino bianco annacquato da pochi spiccioli, con bottiglia aperta da chissà quanti giorni. Noi pensavamo visto la pessima qualità del cibo di pagare al massimo 60 € Sconsigliatissimo.
