04/03/2026: A truly delightful dinner at Da Salvatore – a Sicilian trattoria in Milan. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and welcoming, with an elegant atmosphere that tastefully evokes Sicilian tradition: ceramics, colors, and decorative details create a warm and refined atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. I chose linguine allo scoglio, a dish prepared with great balance: ultra-fresh fish, flavorful yet delicate sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. A flavorful dish, well executed and enhanced by a good glass of wine. To round out the dinner, some excellent Sicilian almond pastries, light, fragrant, and perfect for a sweet, yet not overwhelming, finish. A special thanks to the wife of the owner and chef Salvatore, who welcomes guests with great warmth and professionalism, carefully guiding them through the menu. Her presence contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. A restaurant that elegantly expresses the flavors of Sicily in the heart of Milan. Definitely a place to return to.

15/03/2026: I didn't expect this spot in the heart of Chinatown. Very cozy. Friendly service. The caponata and the tomato salad are highly recommended. As is the pizza.

24/02/2026: Very welcoming and a lovely atmosphere. I had 2 dishes and both were pure indulgence. Anchovy pasta to perfection and Sicilian meatballs were melt in the mouth. Recommended wine for each course too. Can’t fault this traditional lovely restaurant. Real cooking here!

11/03/2026: If you want to visit Sicily and experience local flavors while still in Lombardy, the Osteria is absolutely the place to be! The aromas and flavors, the traditional yet refined atmosphere, and the owners' friendliness and courtesy are the hallmarks of this place. I didn't stay overnight, but the food is excellent.

07/03/2026: We ate really well. The atmosphere is simple but very pleasant and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening. The service was excellent: fast, precise, and above all, extremely kind. The menu isn't very extensive, but that's precisely why it's so thoughtful: few choices, but all so inviting, it was hard to decide what to order! They offer both classic Mantuan dishes and more delicious and unique options. Another plus is the special offers they offer, like the pizza round and the 50% discount on Wednesday evenings. I'll definitely be back.

22/02/2026: Beautiful location, service a little slow but good, perfect food, this weekend there was carbonara as a special dish but in my opinion there was a little too much Pepe but otherwise perfect, complete menu with lots of choice, reasonable price, my review is 4 stars

13/02/2026: The arancini were simply amazing — crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was clear they were made with high-quality ingredients. What made the experience even more enjoyable, though, was the service — the woman who served us was exceptionally kind and warm, with a genuine attitude and a smile that makes you feel truly welcome. We would definitely come back again, both for the arancini and for the warm hospitality. ☺️

11/01/2026: A pleasant discovery in a Milan that always seeks to surprise with special effects, forgetting that tradition, simplicity, and elegance are the best ingredients for a memorable experience. Antica Trattoria Monlué perfectly reflects all these characteristics. Lombard tradition with a Sicilian touch makes the cuisine unique, the service simple, polite, and never "stuffed," and the owner's kindness and elegance make Antica Trattoria Monlué a unique place, worth remembering. Oh, and I forgot... There are still those who offer (free) amari at the end of the meal!! If you want to spend a beautiful, calm, and relaxing evening, this is the ideal place. I'm curious to return for lunch and enjoy the beauty of the location.

10/01/2026: A real surprise on the outskirts of town, this trattoria with a garden in a seemingly rural setting. Excellent, meticulously prepared cuisine features regional and other specialties. The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming, reflecting tradition. Reasonable prices reflect the overall quality of the offerings.

14/03/2026: Disgusting food and arrogant service. Avoid! A complete disaster. The seafood was not fresh and smelled fishy, especially the lobster pasta which was unbearable. The fish was so salty that it was literally inedible. On top of the terrible food, the service is appalling. The owner is extremely rude and treats customers with zero respect, lecturing us as if we were children. It is a classic tourist trap with low-quality ingredients and a toxic attitude. Save yourself the trouble and stay away!

15/03/2026: Very good food, the braciole and appetizers spectacular, the first courses a little less so... Desserts were very good, the crunchy cannoli were very expensive! Very welcoming and informal atmosphere, very friendly staff. We'll be back!

11/03/2026: I wanted to write this review even before trying one of their delicacies because you could already see the great quality just from the display case... I found it by chance, during my lunch break, browsing the local dealers, and it was truly the only thing that made the trip from Liguria worth it! The lady at the counter was super friendly, nice, and kind, and the products were truly fantastic! I tried several mignon (or mini) ones to be able to try more things and I was truly amazed by every flavor! A special shout out to the round sfincione pizza! Too bad I live far away, otherwise I'd be there any day now! Unfortunately, I didn't take photos because I was too enthralled by such goodness and beauty! I offer you my most sincere compliments, I hope to pass by that area again one day and stop by your place again ❤️

For us, the experience was characterized by the hospitality and professionalism of the staff and the quality of the dishes. The typical Mantuan dishes were excellent, but the fish dishes were also very popular. My wife ordered linguine with raw salmon, which amazed her! Well done, well done, and thank you.
