31/07/2024: Small, welcoming place, I think max 25/30 seats, fish specialities, well-prepared dishes, really successful reinterpretations of Sicilian recipes. Engaging flavors that repeatedly made me "close my eyes" to appreciate. The oysters are highly recommended, even the raw ones are very tasty. I also had the opportunity to appreciate an "off the menu" item, the sea bream arancino, which was spot on. Compliments to both the chef and the professional and familiar table service at the same time. Not cheap but you pay for the quality and I would say it's fair.

07/07/2024: Bravi. Locale "intimo" e di livello. Pesce fresco tutto espresso veloci e attenti nel servizio in sala. A gestione familiare. Innovativi e originali gli antipasti. Ampia scelta di vini. Prezzo in linea con il pesce offerto e locale. Ci torno. Complimenti.

13/07/2024: A corner of paradise in Milan, for fish lovers. Each dish offered is very fresh, prepared in every detail. They range from typical traditional Sicilian dishes to interesting reworkings of seafood classics. Their crudités are highly recommended. Everything is freshly prepared, impeccably presented, delicious. The wine list goes hand in hand with the quality of the cuisine, and they are ready to recommend pleasant and refined combinations. You can find some dishes for vegetarians and many gluten-free options. Even the desserts are a fabulous experience, always with an eye to the traditions of Sicily. The staff is courteous, affable, quick. For those arriving by car there is a private car park immediately next to the restaurant.

29/06/2024: My god, was I sceptical, considering that I am not used to sicilian cuisine. Pasta was out of this world and cassata is another level experience. Such a great place!

17/08/2024: eravamo da tempo clienti fissi di questo ristorante, pur non abitando a Bergamo. Il 17 giugno 2024 avevo telefonato per prenotare per dom 7 luglio . Walter (il titolare precedente ) mi aveva detto che per quella data non c'era posto, quindi ho prenotato per 8 per la dom successiva, il 14 luglio . Quando siamo arrivati al rist. abbiamo scoperto che era cambiata la gestione, pur titubanti siamo entrati, grande delusione , tavoli senza tovaglia né tovaglioli , servizio pessimo, cibo scadente, però stessi prezzi !!!!!!!!! Il signor Walter avrebbe potuto avvertirmi che la gestione era cambiata , dal momento che ero una cliente abituale . La nuova proprietaria , quando leggerà questa recensione, spero mi risponda e mi chiarisca quanto accaduto.

28/06/2024: Bel locale, ben curato, che offre un servizio adeguato. Particolarmente gentile e preparato il figlio dei proprietari. Piatti molto gustosi con materie prime di livello. Prezzi medio alti ma in linea con servizio e proposte culinarie. Carta dei vini molto buona. Da provare

Marks out of 10?...20😆 The history of the actual building is most interesting, and the owners have made every effort to retain many original features in a stylish manner.

06/08/2024: The only positive thing, the decor of the place. Inadequate staff: young foreigners who don't speak Italian well and who go to the kitchen to ask for every question. Amazing cover charge at 8 euros each. Food quality is not worth the price you pay. Furthermore, seeing a waiter petting and cuddling a customer's dog... I find it embarrassing.

29/07/2024: I lived in Milan twenty years ago and I expected the Italians to have become a little more intellectual in that time. That was definitely not the case when we visited 13 Giogno tonight. When I go out to eat, I do not want to take a computer with Excel installed to check the bill. After all these years, Italians still think they can cheat foreigners and make them pay extra. Even in an expensive restaurant, it was no more than 20 to 40 euros (I was not counting), but I expect the bill to be at least correct. Otherwise, the food is acceptable for the price and the service is good at first, but later on it does not live up to the standard. We had a good time, but I would not advise anyone to go to a restaurant that uses this or similar methods.

In realtà Vito è in grado di realizzare praticamente qualsiasi piatto, a volte con un taglio siciliano, molte altre con un pizzico di creatività: fu qui che, ormai 10 anni fa, assaggiai per ala prima volta un abbinamento pesce/formaggio, ora di moda, ma all'epoca unico e strabiliante: erano involtini di spada e caciotta affumicata, li ricordo ancora oggi. Torno spesso, sempre molto soddisfatto

Extraordinary setting in a square a stone's throw from the most famous church in Mantua, delicious food (especially the tuna tartare: a treat!), but above all very good service. Denis, who served us, was extremely attentive to our expectations and showed unparalleled kindness and generosity. Many thanks to him and the rest of the restaurant staff. I highly recommend !

20/07/2024: I recently had dinner at this restaurant, but I have to say I was disappointed. Some portions were incredibly small and completely ridiculous compared to the prices asked. For example, I ordered a mini portion of pasta with fish: only 8 paccheri at a cost of 18 euros. The bruschettas with tomatoes were equally disappointing: a slice of bread cut in half, for 12 euros. Furthermore, I had asked for a fillet of meat, but I was brought another type of meat and the potatoes were overcooked, almost burnt. Despite everything, I must admit that the food was still good, but the prices are absolutely unjustified, especially considering the portions served. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good value for money.
