14/06/2026: Trip to Nuoro to visit Grazia Deledda's birthplace...a truly delicious lunch...we tried filindeu (the first time ever) and Nuoro-style mutton stew. Everything was delicious. Recommended.

14/06/2026: This is not a good hotel for kids and honestly dirty and not worth the money, it’s SO expensive for an outdated and dirty hotel with an unheated pool, mediocre food, and aging furniture and grounds. For PARENTS: we checked in to our hotel room and the floors are slick, including in the shower, where my 7 year old daughter fell and hit her head. Over the next two days, my kids fell multiple times on the slick floors. I would also suspect there are mold in the hotel rooms. And there are no duvets - just scratchy blankets. Given the cost of this hotel, I would expect a way higher standard. We checked out early and I asked for my money back for the last night (almost $2,000), which they refused despite the unsafe accommodation for families. Until I requested my money back, the staff was kind, but the manager was unreasonable and rude. I also note the hotel is dirty - the “mini golf” is plastic and dirty, and the offerings on their website are not available. We booked a cooking class weeks before our arrival which was not available when we showed up. The pool and hot tub are not heated, and surrounded by dirty furniture. I would not recommend staying here - 3 star accommodations for 5 star prices. The area is lovely though - stay somewhere else. 10000000% not worth even half the cost of a nightly stay.

14/06/2026: This is promoted as a "posh" hotel, but it is not. It's too big and crowded, with difficult access to the rooms. Our suite (#103) was very special, with lots of space (extra day beds for kids, an outdoor bath, and an outdoor bed), but it was uphill, up three sets of outdoor stairs. Also, no matter how careful you were, the bathroom was flooded each time you showered. Breakfast needs some improvement: coffee is horrible and there is no cut fruit for yogurt. I shouldn't have to chop/peel whole fruit with a basic table knife. Finally something, the gym has good equipment, but it's about 24C/75F in there, so it's very uncomfortable to workout.

04/06/2026: We stopped by for lunch while in Nuoro for work. We found the place very welcoming and the staff incredibly friendly. The food was truly excellent. I recommend it to anyone who can!

14/03/2026: There's no need to describe these fantastic tasting experiences. It's not a pizzeria or a trattoria, but a proper restaurant. Nothing like other "restaurants" I've eaten in the city. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. The waiters' wine recommendations are always appreciated. Five stars aren't enough.

07/03/2026: I was at this place on Friday evening. My heartfelt compliments to the kitchen. The food was spectacular. As for the questionable service, rushing customers is definitely not a good thing. I understand the need to get off work, but there are ways and ways. Otherwise, excellent. Thanks for the experience.

04/05/2026: Absolutely love it here! Please do not listen to the bad reviews - this place is amazing! The lady is so kind and accommodating, my friend is gluten and dairy free and they accommodated for her perfectly. The lady also made sure we got home safely to our campsite and gave us a lift! A meal we will never forget 🩷

30/04/2026: Family-run trattoria. Tasty dishes and attention to detail. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Excellent value. Highly recommended!

17/06/2026: Very informal place, good service, and friendly staff. The food was good, the only flaw being the vegetable caponata, which wasn't caponata at all, but boiled vegetables. The typical Sardinian gnocchi, the dish of the day, were truly delicious. The friendly and approachable owner offered "morto" (a kind of fried bread) and "filuferro" (a kind of fried bread).

14/06/2026: Food and Service: We ordered fregola, but unfortunately the dish arrived full of sand because the clams hadn't been purged properly. We decided not to send the dish back to the kitchen solely to avoid further lengthening the wait, as it was already long. ​Ambience: The restaurant presents itself as a typical trattoria, but the lack of attention to cleanliness of the seafood ruined the dinner. ​Quality/Price Ratio: Not adequate, considering that a shellfish-based dish shouldn't present such preparation problems. ​In summary: An unfortunately negative experience. Careful attention to cleanliness of the ingredients and management of wait times should be a priority. In response to the owner/chef's response: You are a big liar and dishonest: my wife didn't order spaghetti with clams; the dishes were all seafood fregola; there were more than one clam with sand; I refused to take the dish back to the kitchen due to the long wait!!!! Since she works alone in the kitchen and there's only one waitress in the dining room, she's so selfish that she can save money on staff. I didn't scrounge the myrtle because she offered it. If she'd at least offered dessert, she would have made a better impression after the damage, but she's too selfish.

14/03/2026: It was a wonderful surprise...an elegant Sardinian-style restaurant, with a large fireplace and a breathtaking view. From appetizers to dessert, the flavors were genuine and authentic. The welcome was warm and friendly. We trusted the waiter's recommendations. The house wine was excellent. We will definitely return when we need peace and authentic hospitality. The price of our lovely lunch was absolutely fair.

02/03/2026: Beautiful and well-kept place. The food wasn't particularly good quality; let's just say the dishes arrived cold, the pork was dry, most likely reheated from the previous day, and the prices were inappropriate. Very disappointing. The bill was high compared to what we ordered. We found ourselves with double dishes on the bill. Like two grilled meats.

06/12/2025: Excellent lunch, exceptional and delicious selections! Very welcoming and friendly service. Open in winter too!
