07/01/2026: We had lunch in a welcoming restaurant with excellent service. The dishes were excellent, respecting tradition with a touch of modernity. The only drawback was the slightly higher-than-average prices.
06/01/2026: Dined here for Sunday lunch while visiting Cisternino. The restaurant had a nice decor and atmosphere, which was enhanced by the fireplace. The host was very helpful and the food was delicious. I was impressed by the presentation of the Tiramisu. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if one is visiting Cisternino.

06/01/2026: We went here for Epiphany lunch with my girls. Annalisa and Vincenzo, who took care of the service, were impeccable and extremely kind. They paid attention to every detail, ensuring friendly service even for the girls, who were served immediately, a detail that is not to be taken for granted. The food was good, plentiful, and just the right amount of gourmet, never sloppy. The prices were truly fair, making it an excellent value.

03/11/2025: After two months of waiting, we finally went to lunch at the famous Il Capriccio restaurant. What a disappointment! The much-vaunted and highly praised tagliolini all'aragostella (lobster-like tagliolini) is nothing more than a mass of pasta with a questionable pulp (lobster?) mixed with a lot of cream. But can you serve a fish dish(?) with cream? An experience I'll never forget.

01/02/2026: A varied appetizer with cured meats, cheeses, and hot dishes, but all served together on a platter with no indication of what they were or what was in the terracotta pans. This is important for first-time visitors.
Everything was good, however, as was the enormous "elephant ear" cutlet, which we shared between two of us. The grilled vegetables were delicious.
Improved service, with minimal interruptions to comment on the dishes, would make this an excellent trattoria.
