03/04/2024: We had an absolutely fantastic dinner. Great value for money. All dishes were superb. TheRiso croccante allo zafferano con calamari, carciofi, intingolo di erbe e limone was particularly outstanding. What's more, we had a bottle of white, a glass of red and two different amari as well as an espresso - all outstanding. A great place to eat out.

06/04/2024: It alsmost hurts to give it a 5/5 because I know this place will become even more known! But, Amir and the whole Magolfa crew deserve it all! Everything has been amazing each and every visit. The people are so nice, they can speak english if you need it and it really feels as one family sharing their love and passion for Italian food at the lowest prices they can put! (6-9€/pizza or pasta). Just love this place.

07/05/2024: Decent food. Inedible cutlet. Exchange is offered, agreed upon. The final price does not correspond to what is actually consumed and the table service staff respond poorly to the customer. Not recommended.
16/04/2024: The tastiest and tastiest risotto we tried in Milan!!!
Nice environment-nothing special, but polite waiters and delicious food!!! (which is the point anyway..)
At the beginning they bring a welcome treat of focaccia with fresh tomato on top!
The risotto with the ossobouko was so well cooked and so well combined in taste that it enchanted you!!!

We accompanied them with a very tasty red wine from Puglia!
In the end we got tiramisu which had very tasty cream but soggy biscuit..
The prices… unfortunately Milan prices, if one wants to eat well….
All in all, this is the restaurant I would always return to if I came back to Milan!!!!

02/04/2024: Review that comes a little late as I went a year ago. The food is excellent and the menu varied. Normal restaurant atmosphere. High costs for the neighborhood average. I went with a large group and had some problems when it came to the bill, with some group offer proposals not kept.

07/04/2024: Yesterday I had lunch with a friend in this historic restaurant that I have known for a long time...
Very carefully prepared and high quality food, all freshly prepared...
We ate yellow risotto with ossobuco and Pesa magatello..
The berry dessert with zabaglione...
All very good!
Excellent service...
We hadn't booked but they found us a table in the entrance area.
Clearly the average high price is adequate for Milan especially in that area!

04/04/2024: We were thrilled! Very, very good food, good wines and very friendly service. We felt completely comfortable. You feel very good here as a guest. The nice thing is that a lot of locals eat here and it's not a tourist restaurant.
02/04/2024: Delicious Italian food in a very familiar and welcoming atmosphere. The service is amazing and the food is great.
100% recommended, it is relatively close to the center.

05/04/2024: Excellent traditional Milanese cuisine, perhaps slightly excessive in price but overall we ate and drank well. Note that the waiter is not at all welcoming and has an attitude and set up more like a nightclub bouncer than a customer service.
01/04/2024: Authentic restaurant with quality food. You still have to walk a little, depending on where you are. It's not in a very busy place, but it's worth it. We tried several dishes and they were all delicious, very homemade.

07/05/2024: Milanese trattoria with typical Lombard but also Piedmontese dishes.
The choice to bring two different entrees (Piedmontese) is nice.
I would say prices are medium-high for a Milanese trattoria, considering that the location is nice, but the environment is quite old, I found it not very welcoming...
I think there are better trattorias in Milan, also in terms of quality.
The cutlet was very good, quite large but not too heavy, but we didn't like the potatoes too much: you could tell they had been cooked in butter and what's more, they had certainly been reheated as they were dry...

12/05/2024: 2 Milanese cutlets (made as God commands) with potatoes + 1 beer + 1 glass of red wine + a slice of Milanese cake.
I wanted to eat something Milanese before going to the stadium and I was perfectly satisfied. Perfect place for a Sunday lunch. The only flaw in my opinion is that the tables are really too close together. We were so close to our table neighbors that we inevitably made friends 😂.
