Yesterday I had lunch with a friend in this historic restaurant that I have known for a long time...
Very carefully prepared and high quality food, all freshly prepared...
We ate yellow risotto with ossobuco and Pesa magatello..
The berry dessert with zabaglione...
All very good!
Excellent service...
We hadn't booked but they found us a table in the entrance area.
Clearly the average high price is adequate for Milan especially in that area!

Good welcome and environment
Excellent service, prompt and attentive, and staff.
I tasted: the Milanese risotto, and the Milanese cutlet.
Paired with Lambrusco di Romagna IGT (Nerodilambrusco) Chickpeas, sparkling sweet.
Dessert, chocolate mousse with raspberries
Right quality/price ratio (€78).

The restaurant is very characteristic and I can say that it is the best Milanese risotto with ossobuco that I have ever tasted. Paired with a glass of Mompertone. What to say? Highly recommended!!!!!

🥂 A place out of time and out of space, a panacea against the disastrous wave of anonymous places, with equally useless proposals. The place already frequented by Veronelli remains an island where you can find the Milan of Casœula, of ossobuco, (the only discordant note for me was not finding a San Colombano wine, the DOC of Milan, we got by with a excellent Bonarda, it's a shame to have to drive...so just a glass).
A dive into a healthy and polite environment that I recommend to anyone who is attentive. And to those who don't like it, for a thousand reasons, I would respond like Mr. Carlo to whom the vulgar or inattentive customer didn't like him and said to him: "that me faga on piasè ch'el vaga via" [cit. I had dinner with friends, I found the place very welcoming with very kind and helpful staff. The food? I ate Milanese risotto with osso bucco, everything was delicious, an experience to be repeated... for dessert I had the hot zabaglione, exceptional taste.

Desideravo da tempo frequentare questo locale storico e finalmente con un gruppo di amici ho coltivato il desiderio.... Locale elegante, affollatissimo pur essendo giovedì sera, belll'accoglienza e servizio molto gentile. Ho scelto come tutti la cucina milanese risotto con l'ossobuco, foiolo, cotoletta, zabaione.....piatti deliziosi e abbondanti...e non so mi sono certo divertito ma anche emozionato! E lo consiglio a tutti!

Con la famiglia e amici sono stato invitato a testare questa antica trattoria di Milano, famosa anche perché, negli anni '30, vi visse e lavorò come cuoco niente meno che Ho Chi Minh, il futuro presidente del VietNam. Naturalmente, ho chiesto la classica milanese, davvero ottima, morbida e succulenta, nonché dei ravioli di spinaci alla salvia. Risotti e cotolette anche per gli altri commensali (8). Vino Inferno della Valtellina per tutti e caffè. Dolcetti per gli altri. Servizio ottimo e veloce, prezzo non so, ambiente vintage molto accogliente. Ci tornerò senz'altro. Lo consiglio vivamente!
