23/01/2026: I happened to be in San Maurizio di Monti because an ancestor of mine was born there in 1794. Not surprisingly, there are still lots of people with the old family names. Given the small size and remoteness of the location, I didn't know what to expect from the Trattoria. After glimpsing the kitchen I was encouraged. The meal was amazing! Fresh pasta ravioli, rabbit in herbs and garlic, a catalana, and espresso were all exemplary. With coperto and two bottles of water, the total was 22 Euros. No wonder the place was packed!

16/12/2025: A typical Ligurian restaurant in the hills, with a family atmosphere, serving excellent, hand-crafted dishes prepared with care.
