Trattoria Dal Piccolo

19/01/2025: We always went to Piccolo for lunch and the environment was beautiful, bright and friendly! Today we returned with my son, wife and nephew after a few years of absence. When we arrived around 1pm, if I didn't say hello... the waitresses who were talking in a group... one got wild!! After ordering we waited three quarters of an hour before 2 slices arrived and another 20 minutes for the 3 first courses!!! I opened a bag of breadsticks.... old enough to leave a bitter taste! I opened some
another... the same! For the other 2 cut ???? Around 2.40pm I asked a waitress the reason for this delay and if anything had changed in the management... the answer: in the room they had booked for 25 and 4 were added! Does a restaurant stop for 4 more diners? Then finally arrive the 2 slices with grilled vegetables but so grilled and dry that THEY CAN'T EVEN BE EATED BY A PIG!!! DISGUSTING and for four pieces 5 euros!! In summary: 3 first courses 4 slices 3 vegetable crumbs 1 bulk white wine 2 waters = €136.00 At the time of payment not even an apology for the inconvenience caused!! The greeting and a smile not even with binoculars!!! But where has the nice and jovial staff of the past gone? Now Dal Piccolo is a bunch of rude, obnoxious people!! I'm sorry because I always came back very willingly!

Very kind staff.
Tortellini in broth, lasagna, passatelli with bacon and balsamic vinegar.
Bolognese cutlet,
Sliced beef and roast veal with loe, grilled vegetables and delicious baked potatoes.
Congratulations for everything.

17/01/2025: Excellent products and dishes, impeccable service, certainly an excellent tavern, a well-kept environment... prices perhaps a little high... but after all, they have received recognition and are making us pay... overall, absolutely worth trying

As far as I'm concerned, prices are too high for a tavern in San Giovanni in Persiceto. Excellent food quality but not worth the cost. In short, nothing exceptional, as I read online.
The two waiters, very nice and kind. While the lady at the checkout was not very polite.
P.s. Remember that if you have booked online and want to cancel your table, you can only do so up to 6 hours in advance. Otherwise they will make you pay a penalty of €75 per person!!!!

20/02/2025: The restaurant is always very intimate and characteristic. With the new management the menu is traditional to the right point, with some reinterpretations that are very good. The staff is really kind, attentive and professional. The bombette rifare all'emiliana are highly recommended. Compliments to the staff and keep it up!!!
