09/03/2026: The atmosphere is very refined and the location is excellent. I'd advise the restaurant to decide what to do when it grows up. If it wants to achieve excellence, it needs to improve its food and service. Alternatively, at the moment, it's worth downgrading its price: for now, Gong is, in my opinion, a "I would like but I can't" and definitely overpriced.

06/03/2026: This restaurant is the epitome of fine dining: - excellence in quality - perfection in service - a delicious menu - consistency I can’t say enough praise for this place. The staff are so nice and so professional, the owner Julia is the golden star of service and manners and she knows how to make a place run like a Swiss watch. The food is exceptional and 100% Michelle star worthy. There are many good places is milan. This is the best. Owners should study this place on how to build the perfect fine dining experience. Update, 2026: a few years later and I’m still obsessed. The quality and experience has actually gotten better. I have eaten in the best places in Milan and this is 100% the best culinary experience in Milan and the most prolific and incredible Asian fusion in the world. Hands. Down.

04/01/2026: Very nice place, probably the best Chinese restaurant in Milan (and I've tried many). It has got a wide choice of meat but the most tasty and delicious dishes are veggy ones. Cheap and good, a perfect mix.

10/01/2026: A simply delicious evening! We dined at this Chinese restaurant and were truly impressed by the quality of the dishes and the balance of flavors. The udon noodles, both shrimp and beef, were extraordinary: perfectly cooked noodles, fresh ingredients, and a rich but never heavy sauce. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, dry and flavorful, while the sweet and sour pork won us over with its perfect balance of sweet and sour, enveloping and authentic. You can sense great care in the preparation and a cuisine that focuses on quality, not just abundance. A place to return to without hesitation, ideal for those who love well-made Chinese cuisine. The quality of the food and ingredients is certainly high, as is the care taken in its preparation. The only downside, in my opinion, is the price-to-quantity ratio. I'm a woman who eats little and fills up quickly, yet the portions here are truly meager for the price. The ravioli are good, but I'd describe them as bite-sized. To leave feeling full, you absolutely have to order at least three courses. The noodles were also a bit small, just three forkfuls. Last tip: €3.80 for a €750 bottle of water—no way.

10/02/2026: An all-you-can-eat restaurant disguised as a restaurant. The food and quality are awful, not to mention poor. The service is pompous (and poorly executed), ridiculous for a vulgar provincial restaurant. Meager, poorly executed dishes, with every ingredient overcooked and devoid of soul. Both meat and fish ravioli tasteless, Sichuan peppercorns missing, store-bought noodles, overcooked frozen shrimp with no flavor whatsoever (if they hadn't been, I'd be ashamed to have ruined an ingredient like that), and a burnt oil aroma that lingers in the taro appetizer and chicken after several minutes. Insanely expensive. Any other Chinese takeaway or €1.50 kebab place on Via Padova is more worthwhile.

19/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for my birthday. The service was exceptional and unobtrusive. The sommelier and Adrien (our perfect waiter) were professional, intelligent, and knowledgeable, matched only by the uniqueness and explosion of flavors of the cuisine. The relaxed atmosphere perfectly showcased the food and service. A 10 overall! A restaurant to return to again and again...

07/03/2026: Chinese restaurant serving typical Yunnan cuisine, good and authentic. There are more Chinese customers than Italians, a good sign. The place is small, so it's suitable for groups of two to four people. I tried it at a table for six, but honestly, it felt a bit cramped. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a try.
