Excellent tea menu from Asia! Great selection and quality tea. Dim sum was fresh and delicious. Attentive service. Highly recommend it! (I was not crazy about the beef)

High quality Southern Chinese spot in Milan. Food is spot on, probably one of the best I’ve tried in Milan so far. Highlight of the menu for me were the xiaolongbao, we asked for a second round. Service is phenomenal, exceptional: they’ll anticipate your needs, treat you with care and really make a difference. The location is elegant, with perfect lighting, design, space between tables. I’ll surely come back and recommend this place.

Our culinary adventure at Mu Dimsum in Milan was an enchanting experience that took us on a journey through the vibrant essence of Asian cuisine. The tasting menu, priced at a reasonable €60, was an elaborate spread that showcased the restaurant's flair for creating dishes that were both traditional and innovative. The evening began with the "Involtini Primavera," a delightful spring roll filled with mackerel, shrimp, and soy noodles, which set a high standard for what was to come. Following this was the "Dim Sum Combo," a spectacular assortment of five dumplings, each with a distinct flavor and perfectly steamed texture that simply melted in the mouth. The mezzaluna with mushrooms and a hint of truffle was an outstanding dish. The "Tagliatelle di Manzo" was a fusion masterpiece, homemade rice tagliatelle with beef, soy sprouts, and Chinese garlic leaves, offering a beautiful balance of flavors and textures. The "Char Siu Bao" – grilled bio organic pork buns – was another highlight, with its tender pork filling encased in a light, fluffy bun, a true homage to its Guangdong origins. We loved the delicate taste and the balance between the pork and the caramelised onions. The "Peking Duck" was a showstopper, served traditionally with thin crepes, a sweet sauce, and crispy vegetables that created a harmonious blend of flavors with each bite. The skin was crisp and and the meat was extremely tender almost melting in your mouth. An unexpected yet thoroughly delightful aspect of the meal was the tea pairing. Each tea was thoughtfully selected to complement the dishes, enhancing the flavors and providing a refreshing counterpoint to the rich and savory notes of the food. The tea pairing, available for €30, was an outstanding experience that elevated the tasting menu to new heights. The tea is prepared table side with detailed explanation. A highlight was the Jasmin flavoured green tea for the dessert which was prepared cold table side. Dessert was a sweet finale with "Mochi al Mango" and an assortment of "Piccola Pasticceria," which provided a light yet satisfying end to the meal. The mango jelly and matcha glutinous rice film were particularly memorable, with subtle sweetness and a soft, chewy texture. The service throughout the meal was impeccable. The staff were not only knowledgeable about the dishes and the teas but also attentive and enthusiastic, contributing to an overall dining experience that was as smooth and delightful as the teas themselves. Mu Dimsum provided an exceptional dining experience that I would recommend to anyone in Milan seeking a taste of Asia with a modern twist. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and the unique tea pairing makes it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts.

MU come Musica: sono le note stonate che si alternano al tavolo, cercando un’armonia finale. Ci sono molti colori da amalgamare, qualche spiffero di freddo ed alcune lacune da riempire. La carta dei vini è perfetta: Roberta la seleziona abilmente, e mantiene quello charme condiviso di una breve sosta al tavolo. Lei è energia pura, se avete la fortuna di coglierla. Il menù degustazione ha qualcosa di indispensabile (vedi alla voce tagliatelle) e qualcosa di deludente. Nonostante non sia ancora pronto per il panorama internazionale, MU è un locale di identità, e chi è riconoscibile oggi resta a galla. Forse manca solo un percorso netto, che mon abbia più quelle esitazioni scontante. Merita altre possibilità.

Ambiente rilassato, tavoli distanziati, atmosfera molto piacevole. Menu degustazione molto apprezzato, sapori decisi e accostamenti equilibrati. Servizio attento e professionale. Buon rapporto prezzo qualità. Consigliato !
