14/05/2025: A Chinese restaurant near Milano Centrale Station, leaving Italy the next day, but eating enough Italian food to decide on Chinese food for dinner. I ate so satisfyingly that I gained a lot of energy. Chongqing food refers to food from Chongqing, one of the four major municipalities in China. It is not as well known as Shandong, Guangdong, and Sichuan cuisine, but Chongqing is the birthplace of the famous Mala hotpot. However, I did not order hotpot that day, and I looked through the menu carefully and ordered whatever caught my eye. Pickled cucumbers, which are a side dish and can also be enjoyed with alcohol, came out first, and I liked how they were filled to the brim. Cucumbers were soaked in the vinegar, and they were really crunchy and refreshing, and the sourness was so strong that it made my head hurt. Instead, a few drops of chili oil were added to balance out the spicy flavor. The beef fried rice that followed was actually made with veal, not beef, but that wasn't important. It was just good because the rice grains were chewy. It was really well-fried and settled perfectly on my tongue. The liver was not salty like European food, but it was savory and savory as if it had been made with lard, so it wasn't unpleasant. As is the case with most Chinese fried rice, it was a drinking snack and it tasted even better when served with other dishes. The pork belly that I ordered, Hui Guo Rou (raw meat), had good meat quality, a lot of meat, and it was so savory that it stuck to my mouth. Not only the pork belly, but also the vegetables such as green onions and onions had a good oily and smoky flavor. Honestly, I thought it would be somewhat suited to the tastes of locals, but it wasn't at all, so I was surprised. It was more than enough for a Chinese restaurant in Korea. I remember the last one, Lazji, being the spiciest, but it wasn't too spicy unless you chewed the fried chili peppers. As I ate, I felt my lips getting numb, and the chicken was salty. The chicken was cut into small pieces and fried, and it had a crunchy texture that disappeared quickly in my mouth, and then a spicy flavor came up. It was not strong, but it was addictive and went well with beer. Although I couldn't communicate well, the staff were so kind that I had a more enjoyable meal, and the price was very reasonable. I heard that a lot of Koreans come here, and it was funny that the staff knew all about bomb shots.

11/05/2025: The place is not recommended... The environment is quite nice and welcoming, very fast but rude service! The waiter threw our plates on the table and made ugly facial expressions. We went on a Saturday (and the basic menu costs more), but the quality of the food is AWFUL! the sushi looked like it was prepared first and they just had to put it on the plate. when we ordered rolls with salmon on them, there was very little salmon and it looked slimy. The only good sushi was the Philadelphia, then we took some mango mochi (€2.50 a piece) the mochi was very cold and we had to wait for it to defrost. (I don't go there anymore)

25/05/2025: Nice hotel in an excellent location, a few steps from Sirmione Castle, with an excellent lake view, thermal pool with spa service, excellent breakfast in the morning, well-kept and clean hotel.

30/04/2025: We can report very positively after a week of vacation. We felt comfortable and every effort was made to ensure that the guests were well! Breakfast is identical every day and kept simple. The dinner is very good as a course menu and is of good quality. Generally the prices for drinks in the restaurant or bar were okay. The rooms are clean, modern and rather simply furnished. Bathrooms always clean with good reliable room service. Parking was always possible free of charge directly at the hotel. Top location of the hotel! Perfect and unbeatable for us! About the spa/pool: the spa area is rather small and manageable. The great garden with lots of loungers makes up for this somewhat. Small sauna for max. 4 people. The pool is a sulfur pool, which is particularly good for the skin. The smell of sulfur smells and is completely normal. Yes, you can smell it throughout the hotel, but you get used to it very quickly and we didn't find it a bother. On the contrary, our skin was wonderful after a week and the warm water was a relief. Negative reviews are not acceptable here. The pool was cleaned daily with a robot and a lifeguard is always present. We definitely recommend the hotel and would come again. Thanks for the great stay.

22/05/2025: Before going to this restaurant, I trusted the reviews I read online, especially that of Portami al Sushi, which, being specialized in this type of cuisine, I expected would give a reliable opinion. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but positive. The staff, as already reported by others, does not actually speak Italian, but it must be said that at least they were kind and helpful. There were several critical issues, however. We found a bone in the salmon tartare. The shrimp served in the nigiri were clearly treated, probably not preserved adequately, and certainly not fresh. Furthermore, the sushi rice was warm. I was also amazed by the hygiene of the room: there were cobwebs clearly visible on the ceiling, large and clearly there for a long time. A detail that raises doubts about the general attention to cleanliness of the place. In short, a disappointing experience. I do not feel like recommending it, despite the enthusiastic reviews found elsewhere.
