21/02/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, and the service is helpful but sometimes rushed and distracted. The menu is limited, so don't expect the usual Chinese menus—a few dishes divided into appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The quality of the food and ingredients is certainly high, as is the care taken in its preparation. The only downside, in my opinion, is the price-to-quantity ratio. I'm a woman who eats little and fills up quickly, yet the portions here are truly meager for the price. The ravioli are good, but I'd describe them as bite-sized. To leave feeling full, you absolutely have to order at least three courses. The noodles were also a bit small, just three forkfuls. Last tip: €3.80 for a €750 bottle of water—no way.

10/02/2026: An all-you-can-eat restaurant disguised as a restaurant. The food and quality are awful, not to mention poor. The service is pompous (and poorly executed), ridiculous for a vulgar provincial restaurant. Meager, poorly executed dishes, with every ingredient overcooked and devoid of soul. Both meat and fish ravioli tasteless, Sichuan peppercorns missing, store-bought noodles, overcooked frozen shrimp with no flavor whatsoever (if they hadn't been, I'd be ashamed to have ruined an ingredient like that), and a burnt oil aroma that lingers in the taro appetizer and chicken after several minutes. Insanely expensive. Any other Chinese takeaway or €1.50 kebab place on Via Padova is more worthwhile.

14/01/2026: Very nice place and super welcoming atmosphere. The portions were generous and the food was very good even though we arrived just as the kitchen was closing. The staff was very kind and helpful in explaining how to best enjoy everything.

We'll go back to local cuisine; at least we won't have any more stomach aches. I understand that the owners of Rising Sun say that by reporting the restaurant's indecency, they're putting the blame on me, but it's well known that the products aren't sourced from the original area, and Orientals aren't known for cleanliness. They eat dogs, cats, and snakes. What credibility do they have?

11/01/2026: Went there for lunch on my own. Not very tasty food but not too bad either as I am not very picky about things to eat. Not sure if I will go back again as the dishes I ordered didn’t really impress me. Standard overall.

26/01/2026: The food is fantastic, so far the best Chinese I've had. The only flaw, though I didn't mind given the excellent food and the great experience, was the table, which was a bit cramped and awkward for the waiters. Overall, a great place; I'll definitely be back.

22/01/2026: The dishes are always delicious, and the atmosphere is very quaint and comfortable, unlike more modern restaurants that are completely devoid of soul. The lady and gentleman who run them are incredibly sweet and kind. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ If I lived closer, I'd come every day.

01/10/2025: The three of us went for hot pot and ordered a tomato hot pot and an old hen and chestnut hot pot. Both were good. Two dishes disappointed me. One was the fresh tofu, which was not fresh and sour. It was brushed in the old hen hot pot, so it's not the soup's fault. The crispy pork was half flour and no meat. Every time I picked up a piece, half of it would be left. The meat was good, but the frozen tofu was very small.

29/09/2025: If you don't make a reservation, you'll be limited to one hour, so you'll be eating very quickly and won't be able to enjoy the meal slowly. However, the service was excellent, the glutinous rice cakes were really delicious, and the quality of the meat was also excellent. However, I was a little shocked to see that the Scontrino hot pot cost 25€.

07/03/2026: Good, quality food. The menu is entirely focused on their dishes (ravioli and BAO). The service is efficient and very friendly. If you love ravioli, BAO is the place to be.

11/01/2026: We waited two hours at the restaurant, only to be informed that they'd lost our order. We waited another 30 minutes for it to be cooked... not even a single euro off. Always delays, but never like this.

09/01/2026: Spectacular spring rolls, delicious rice noodles with vegetables, and a must-try almond chicken. Generous portions, fair prices, but biblical wait times.
