25/03/2026: The place is always empty, the food seems to have expired 7 days ago in the freezer and was offered to other customers, the quality of the fish is very low, it's a shame about the service which is saved by the kindness but all the food is obviously from the freezer.

Renovated space with a great atmosphere.
New menu with interesting dishes, and above all, delicious and carefully prepared.
The staff are always top-notch!!
Recommendation...don't miss the mango cheesecake!!!
21/10/2025: The food is very varied and offers a wide selection of dishes from many Asian countries. The pad thai isn't bad, but it definitely doesn't have the typical Thai sauce with tamarind, but rather a more neutral sauce with soy sauce or similar. It's a simple, enjoyable dish with many of the right ingredients, but it lacks the authentic sauce I've tried at other restaurants in other countries.

22/01/2026: It's an old restaurant that's been beautifully renovated (the restroom is modern and very accessible). The dishes are very good, multi-ethnic, and very well-presented. The prices are affordable.

17/01/2026: Really awful, I don't think I'll go back there again, the frozen and cold appetizers tasted of nothing and not only that, I've eaten in many Chinese restaurants but this cannot be defined as such, then maybe it was just our feeling since there were people there.

15/12/2025: In the heart of Sampierdarena, right across from the train station, this restaurant offers good Chinese cuisine at affordable prices and excellent, friendly service.
I personally prefer the Japanese section, especially considering the exceptional expertise of the certified and award-winning owner, who, in my opinion, knows how to prepare the best salmon sashimi and the tastiest gunkan in the city.
In the historic and majestic old site of the famous Torre del Mangia, fortunately it has preserved some of its furnishings, as well as part of the main sign.
Bus 1/3/7/18/20 (get off at Piazza Montano).
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

09/04/2026: I ordered two dishes: stir-fried rice, rice noodles, and duck. The rice was not good at all; the peas were still raw. When I called the man taking orders, instead of finding a solution, he insisted I had to pay because the kitchen had already prepared the dish. Luckily, a young lady came over and took the rice dish back to the kitchen to show it off. The noodles weren't famous, but they were acceptable because I was hungry! And the duck wasn't seasoned well.

19/12/2025: I'm crazy about the white rice here. Combined with the teriyaki sauce, it's the best.
However, after eating the chicken tempura or the meat rolls, I often have a stomachache.
The place is well-kept but a bit small, and when I order takeout, the food is usually ready well in advance, so I often find the chicken already lukewarm.
The fact that I have to spend at least 30 euros for a minimum order, when the rice itself costs only 3 euros, is truly nonsense.

14/02/2026: Always a pleasure to come to Leaf. The sushi is expertly crafted, and the hot dishes are prepared by Chef Zangh and are not pre-cooked, as at many all-you-can-eat restaurants. The service is friendly and warm. Lunch starts at €15, while dinner offers a very extensive menu for just €23.90. Excellent Chinese and sushi restaurant.

01/03/2026: I've been going there for at least 10 years with my mom, dad, and sister to celebrate birthdays. The quality is always excellent and the price is reasonable. We've seen our kids grow up, and now they're grown up. Working with their parents has made it a place where we feel at home. The service is always the same, that is, professional and precise. They're now experts and super good at doing everything to make you feel good. The atmosphere is quiet during the week (sometimes), and on weekends they're always full, precisely because there's only one around that's as good as 'Drago d'Oro', and it's not the one on the same street.

23/02/2026: Quick stop, it was so much, I hadn't eaten noodles, and after watching a movie set in Taipei, I was really craving it, so here we are at Huang's. I can only give my opinion on the dish in the photo because I only had that, but it was really, really good, in fact, delicious.

We went for dinner.
The atmosphere is a bit lackluster.
The wait was a bit long.
The food, however, is very good.
Overall, I recommend it.
