23/02/2026: All-you-can-eat ribs: third round completely burned. Dessert: I asked if it was possible to have vanilla ice cream without red berries, and the waitress was convinced it was red berry ice cream, not vanilla with red berries. I had to read the menu to him because he didn't know... No problem, but ask someone else. Luckily or unluckily, he told me they had chocolate ice cream. I'd never had that before, just two scoops of ice cream with a crunchy frosting. I got up and strongly advised my friends at the next table not to order it. The second person at my table ordered a "cake" or something similar because they told him it was similar to tiramisu but without the cocoa. I don't know what tiramisu you know, but it had nothing to do with it. I won't be going back. Watch out for the sink in the bathroom on the left, it moves.

20/01/2026: Excellent dishes. I asked for wheat flour to be omitted from my meals, and the lady was very kind! I ordered everything to go, and the delivery guy is very friendly! There are more than 10 seats, and the place is air-conditioned. I highly recommend it!

12/04/2026: We returned after a few years. I'm sorry, but it was nothing like what I remembered. The owner gave us a cold and uninteresting welcome, even though we had a reservation. We arrived at 7:40 PM to vacate the table by 9 PM, as agreed. Service was significantly worse than before (for example, no more hot hand towels), but above all, she was impatient and hastily asked to take our order from the owner, who was sulking. After ordering, and reserving the right to order more after the first courses, we were told curtly, "No, you don't have any more time." The waiter had the same attitude, dishes were practically "thrown" onto the table without even stopping, already focused on other diners. The food was poor: the spring rolls weren't very hot and basically just cabbage, the gnocchi were mediocre, and the rice barely adequate. The meat ravioli were so-so, and the shrimp ones were even worse. Previously, they'd served them politely from special baskets, now these too were brought on the fly by the same waitresses, sullen and always in a hurry (even though the place was only half full). Everything was mechanical, everything was impersonal, everything was fast, with no empathy for the customer. We left the table as soon as possible, well before the "time limit," feeling a bit uneasy; it felt like they'd done us a favor by having us. The moderate prices don't justify the food quality, which has significantly deteriorated over the years, nor the complete indifference to customers, not to mention the service, which was beyond reproach. We won't be returning.

22/03/2026: We chose this restaurant for a family celebration, more than 20 people. Despite our delay, the service was impeccable, fast, and courteous, and the food was high-quality and plentiful. Follow the staff's advice to avoid overdoing it. The location is right next to the lake. Reservations are essential. Highly recommended!

19/02/2026: I visited this restaurant on February 18, 2026, to order a takeout box for €50.00, around 7:50 PM. The first employee who greeted us told us the wait was approximately 15-20 minutes. I accepted and asked them to kindly prepare as soon as possible, as my car's ticket was expiring soon. He then turned to a colleague, who, for some mysterious reason, addressed me in an arrogant and disrespectful tone, informing me that the wait would be at least half an hour. At that point, I refused the new wait time, which also contradicted what I had been previously informed of, and left the restaurant. Dear Sirs, you must show discipline, good manners, and RESPECT towards the customers who choose you. Furthermore, I had addressed you with courtesy and kindness, qualities that were completely lacking in the employee who confronted us in a snarky and arrogant manner. Never again!

15/03/2026: When you step foot into Gino's restaurant, you're no longer in Rende, but straight into China! There are places that aren't simply restaurants, but part of your personal history. For me, Gino's "Pechino" is one of them. I've been going there since I was little, and it's where I discovered what it truly means to eat properly prepared Chinese cuisine. In a city full of places offering confusing menus—sushi next to frozen "Chinese dishes"—Pechino is one of the very few places left serving authentic Chinese cuisine, with respect for tradition and quality. The difference is immediately noticeable: many dishes are clearly handmade (I highly recommend the egg rolls and the sweet and sour pork), with textures, aromas, and flavors that have nothing in common with the frozen or industrial products that unfortunately can be found in so many other low-quality restaurants. It's thanks to this place that I learned to recognize the difference between a prepared dish and a "reheated" one. If you want to experience real Chinese cuisine—the kind that's authentic, carefully prepared, and made with care—Gino's is a must. Recommended for anyone who wants to go beyond and discover something authentic!

16/02/2026: Business dinner... good food, wide selection... everything ok! The only downside was the sea bass wasn't exceptional... (but still edible) I'll definitely be back.

01/02/2026: This is my favorite Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Vercelli and the surrounding area. Prices are still reasonable, and the atmosphere is small but welcoming. Lots of choice, and...nothing, I just love it!

Da provare tutti i contorni ma sicuramente da non perdere la "caponata cinese" un misto patata-peperone-melanzana in agrodolce incredibile. Top anche il maiale fritto In agrodolce. buoni anche gli spinaci in aceto con arachidi. Piatto particolare la carne bollita con ossa... meglio il bollito alla piemontese

18/11/2025: I'm always going to Chinese restaurants, but I've never encountered one this bad. They brought me cold Chinese fries from the day before, and the shrimp tasted like they were spoiled. Everything tasted stale. I hope I don't feel sick afterwards.
