05/11/2025: this is not Chinese food. Too salty and lack of many flavor like oyster sauce, fish sauce or soy sauce. In fact, it is not Asian food at all. I hope you can improve because I have tried all types of dish here from fried rice to noodles and dumplings, none of them taste like it make sense. 😅

02/12/2025: Very authentic and honest Chinese restaurant! We ordered the crab meat soup, and the owner told us upfront that the ingredient is crab stick instead of real crab meat, which we expected for the price. It shows he wasn’t trying to fleece customers by using the words “crab meat”. The fried rice portion was huge, and the sweet and sour pork as nice. Try it out for yourself!

07/11/2025: I came tonight for my birthday with a friend of mine. It was the first time we had eaten at this restaurant, but from the outside it had always impressed us and we finally decided to book. The owner's welcome was kind and warm. We sat down and she took our orders in a nice and friendly way, advising us not to order too much so as not to leave anything. I should point out that I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan and we found many good and tasty dishes. The owner occasionally came to the table to ask us if everything was ok. We ended the dinner with their delicious sake. The atmosphere is very beautiful, traditional and characteristic. After paying the bill, the owner also kindly gave us a beautiful calendar for the new year. We had a great time and will definitely be back. ❤️❤️

11/11/2025: All-you-can-eat lunch. I was passing through and this was my first time here. I found the buffet plentiful and varied, despite the late hour. I ordered various side dishes and freshly grilled fish. Everything was tasty and fresh. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. For €35, two people get a good meal.

14/12/2025: I usually check restaurant reviews before going, and this experience made me realize how important it is. I was passing through this area and it was late, so I was forced to order food from this restaurant. I ordered sweet and sour pork with rice. The pork was awful, the meat poor quality, and the sauce unnecessarily sweet, with chunks of pineapple in it. The rice was terribly dry and obviously stale. I've had the same dish, for the same price, at other similar restaurants, with excellent and truly superior quality. Those are good local restaurants. Here, however, everything was terrible. In my opinion, definitely avoid.

The wait time after ordering via tablet varies considerably, sometimes being very long and too long. Therefore, only 3 stars for service. But overall, definitely recommended.

27/05/2025: I have been working in the same street for 9 years and for all this time this restaurant has been a point of reference for the quality of the dishes, the research and respect for tradition, the correctness of the prices, the genuine and spontaneous friendliness of all the staff! Learning of the closure of this point of reference for Chinese cuisine present for over 30 years is immensely sad and makes you reflect on the too harsh and almost absurd law of the real estate market in Florence, which favors businesses that close every 12 months rather than loyal tenants. Good luck to all the staff and the owner Massimo with the hope that this change brings more beautiful news! I hope to see you soon!!

24/05/2025: We really enjoyed our meals here! The curry and noodles was a first for us but quite good, the chicken fried rice had a good mix of veggies and egg, the sweet and sour chicken was light and crisp and the pineapple sauce was great, not cloyingly sweet and dyed red as it generally is in the US. The beef and broccoli was flavorful and beautifully cooked. We had a big group and shared the dishes, ended up ordering a few more bc the portions were appropriate for 1 serving and not the huge, too much serving as is the case at home. Not expensive. Try it!

07/12/2025: I went to Hanami last night and, unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The €26.80 all-you-can-eat menu offers very little choice, and several dishes weren't even available. The service is slow and disorganized. I really don't think I'll go back.

06/12/2025: Visited for lunch on a weekday. The menus are crumpled and need to be changed. The price is incredibly low, €13 or €14, excluding water and any other delicacies. If you order anything, even by mistake, the price will rise to around €19, excluding water. The uramaki are very small; you don't even notice they have a filling. I waited a long time for the hot and vegetable dishes. Meanwhile, I heard a microwave beeping, which made me unsure. The grilled calamari were almost raw. The dessert included in the menu is a green apple, lemon, and mango sorbet. At least that made me happy, even though I had to ask for it. The waiters were very kind and cheerful, but not a single smile was seen at the cash register. I think I'll come back to try the "red dots" and then I'll update you.
