27/07/2025: In one word, absolutely! The portion is large and the price is very low. I have been to Milan many times from France. This time I came to eat this Northeastern cuisine, which is authentic and delicious, which made our trip to Milan a perfect end. This is the most worthwhile trip to Milan. I also packed up the big sauce pork ribs to continue eating in France, hahaha.

06/05/2025: Restaurant from the north east of China, where the extreme cold influences the food, that needs to be hearthy, warm and nourishing to face temperatures that drop below 20•Celsius The Chinese Tie Guo Dun (铁锅炖) or “Iron Pot Stew”, is a Dongbei “dish” centered on a deep cast iron pot, whereby soup, chicken, pork, vegetables, noodles, and corn cakes are thrown in and cooked all together. It’s similar to Sichuan’s Gan Guo or “Dry Pot”, or like hotpot with less volume of soup. Similar to hotpot, you first choose a “stew base,” a harthy stock to broil your order of meats, vegetables, noodles and whatnot. The bases include pork,chicken-mushroom, goose and fish. We went for the signature free-range chicken. A whole free-range chicken—gizzards, liver, hearts and all—is cooked long and slow in an already rich stock with ginger and spices. That soup is tumbled into a massive cast-iron pot in the center of the table, along with the foodstuff you’ve ordered. Here are a few things ordered: goose claw, greens, black ear mushrooms, tofu skin, potatoes, rice cake, oyster mushrooms, tea tree mushrooms, and spare ribs, mountain yam and potato tagliatelle. One must-order is the corn cakes (玉米饼), an essential item of the whole ensemble. These corn cakes are affixed to the side of the pot just above the simmering line of your stew. The catch about ordering them is that you can only do it once, before the pot is covered to stew. So be sure you have enough of those before the lid goes on. The mealy corn cakes are crisped on the bottom with a fluffy center, making them an ideal vessel to soak up all the stew. Oh, and every time a pancake is placed uon the pot, the server bellows idioms of well wishes. Eat the pot stuff with a raw garlic and chili dip. Definitely worth trying.

29/06/2025: Bon Wei presents itself as a high-end Chinese dining experience, and indeed the ambiance and service reflect that sophisticated image. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, the true measure of a restaurant is its food, and here, Bon Wei disappointed me. While the food wasn't "bad," it was significantly below average for the price. I've had tastier, more authentic Chinese cuisine at restaurants that cost less than half of what Bon Wei charges. I had the feeling that the food is geared more toward those who aren't very familiar with real Chinese cuisine, offering very "domesticated" and undistinguished flavors, almost like a watered-down version for the uninitiated. If you're looking for a refined ambiance and impeccable service for a night out, Bon Wei might be the place for you. But if your priority is truly good Chinese food, you'll probably find more satisfying options elsewhere in Milan. I won't be returning.

04/09/2025: The entrance is a little difficult to find, but once you arrive, you'll find a welcoming, charming space with ready-made dishes and all-you-can-eat options. A spacious dining room. Friendly waiters, and the desserts I've tried are truly delicious.

29/08/2025: The restaurant offers a fixed menu, with a slight increase on Sundays. Buffet service means you can eat as much as you want. They also offer Italian dishes, all served with impeccable cleanliness. You can also request other dishes on the menu.

14/08/2025: Tried it, intrigued by the almost unrealistic reviews. The place is spacious, the food is quite good, and the staff isn't at all as described in the various reviews. You do need to be a little careful when ordering from your phone because it can take a moment to get to the dinner menu even if you're ordering lunch. The girls are quick to point this out. Recommended.

13/08/2025: We discovered this place tonight. We were craving sushi on vacation, but we should have known a lot from the outside. It looks like a single-room warehouse, similar to a hospital cafeteria, with cold lights and no attention to detail whatsoever. The girl's welcome didn't at all encourage us to stay inside; perhaps she should learn to smile. The waiters seem like extras who quickly leave the plate at the table and run away. The food is flavorless, the soy sauce tasteless, and the house wine they sell must be from some discount store in a 5L bottle. Finally, ordering from your phone. I'm not very experienced and would always exit the page; it's inconvenient and doesn't work properly. Never again.

04/09/2025: Fresh fish and very friendly staff. They recently introduced some very appealing menu changes for those who love raw fish. Their rice noodles with shrimp and vegetables are exceptional. Their flavor and texture are unlike most other AYCE restaurants.

17/08/2025: I hadn't been here in years, so I hadn't tried it after the redesign. Unfortunately, it hasn't changed much since last time. The menu has been updated, the dishes are nice, but I can't say the same about the taste. It's not bad, but it's not particularly good either! The menu also doesn't clearly list allergens. I received at least 2-3 dishes with Philadelphia cheese even though it wasn't listed; others had extra ingredients not on the list, so you basically choose one and get a different one. The service was also a negative note; not all of our dishes arrived. When we asked the waiter, he told us to wait a bit longer and at most to order it again. I found some of the waiters to be surly and rushed. Overall, the experience was disappointing; I even felt ill that evening, so I definitely won't be returning.

22/07/2025: Insane wait and inattentive service! If you're hungry, be prepared for a very long wait, even though no one was there when we were there eating! We ordered at 1:44 PM and by 2:30 PM we still hadn't eaten anything! The food finally arrived, all raw! It's a joke! Avoid!
