I ordered shrimp fried rice, fried rice noodles, shrimp egg soup, stir-fried assorted vegetables, mapo tofu, spicy chicken, and sweet and sour fried pork.
Even though I was tired of pasta and lasagna for a few days, I really enjoyed it.
I went to another highly rated Chinese restaurant a few days ago and was a little disappointed because it wasn't very authentic, but this one is decent.
Highly recommended! It was so delicious that I didn't even take a picture.
Excellent typical dishes respecting tradition made with great attention in the choice of the raw materials used. Very kind staff, also Italian, who make the choice easier with a clear menu. Elegant environment very frequented by orientals. Prices in line with the quality offered.

You can eat authentic Taiwanese food in this area of Rome, and the taste suits us.
Because we are traveling with a group, the menu is handled by the travel agency
Thumbs up, the boss is Taiwanese

I’m really impressed that I can eat a Taiwanese-style Chinese restaurant in Rome, and the taste is definitely not inferior to Taiwanese restaurants. It’s very delicious and highly recommended.

Ristorante cinese di qualità. Personale molto efficiente e cortese. Prezzi leggermente più alti della media. Locale con spazi ampi. Arredamento vintage.

Change of Pace
It’s a tale as old as time: tourists in Italy
The al dente pasta isn’t quite what you expect or as easy to consume constantly with your unrefined American palette
Or you’re Asian and you underestimate the challenge of going days straight with pizza and pasta
Mandarin Chow isn’t a particularly stellar Chinese restaurant but it’s a welcome reprieve if you’ve had your fill of gluten and carbs and are craving something warming for the colder nights
The interior is spacious and is filled with an selection of locals but also many tourists looking for that aforementioned change of pace
The menu is a mix of traditional Chinese dishes with soups, noodles, and fried rice well represented and no particularly region focused on
A few Taiwanese items listed are a gem (braised meat rice and fried chicken) and that’s what we honed on as well as the soups sold by the bowl (when you’re desperate, you’re willing to pay the price of entry)
We left happy, satiated, and went back twice!

Nothing great. It was very plain. I arrived at 8 on a Friday and the place was empty. There were a few additional people who came in, but not many. I waited 39 min to pay. I was by myself, so clearly not having a conversation with anyone.
