05/10/2024: It's no longer the Sushi restaurant, that one has closed. Now there is a fish and meat restaurant run by 2 nice and good Chinese people. Italian cuisine, excellent cooking and supplies, well-prepared fresh fish, no social media and very reasonable prices. If you look more at quality and substance than presentation, then you are in the right place. For me Luca and Lucia are the most loving people who deserve satisfaction. ❤️

18/06/2025: Every time a guarantee!!!! I happened to eat in some other sushi, but I always thought: " at Yutaka, in Piazza della Vittoria, you eat better! THERE IS NO COMPARISON!!! The fish is always very fresh, I always find new dishes, professionalism, precision of service and kindness. Both the owner and all her staff are always friendly and super attentive! Even today, yet another confirmation that it is the BEST SUSHI IN GENOA! Thank you ❤️

11/06/2025: The place was nice and the food was good, but we had a long disagreement with the waiter who took care of the payment at the cash register. There were 7 of us and the guy got confused with the payments and in the end he accused first a friend of mine and then me of not having paid. We had to argue for forty minutes because he didn't want to show us the videos from the cameras, fortunately after two calls to the boss he let us go and also gave us back the money for an extra bottle of water that we had unfairly paid for. Mistakes can happen to anyone, but it's not fair that customers have to pay and be treated like thieves. It would have been enough to apologize (even for the time he made us waste arguing). Another problem: it was too hot inside the place.

18/05/2025: I have known this restaurant for 4 years and in the last year it has changed gear, both in terms of food and staff. The dishes are varied and refined, not the classic Japanese with only the classic dishes but a place where you can experiment with nigiri with bergamot, lime uramaki or mojito style, well many many special dishes and all with an explosion of flavor in your mouth. I can't say anything about the hot food part because I haven't tried it. Service: efficient, friendly and "on the ball" staff, yesterday they had a small slowdown on the desserts by not bringing them to us together, but that's okay. The environment is well-kept both inside and outside, which I prefer, and being inside a covered cloister it can be used all year round and in the evening it has a very intimate and romantic atmosphere.

You order via smartphone with QR code but many photos of the dishes on the menu are missing. Nice large bathroom. Average prices.
