03/08/2025: La Pagoda in Bologna didn't make us cry out for a miracle... but it did make us dine with gusto, and that's already much more than some places manage. We ordered a bit of everything, as is typical when there are four of you and you feel like Friday night gastronomic explorers: spring rolls, Cantonese rice, soy noodles with meat and vegetables, a parade of ravioli (grilled, steamed, with shrimp, with meat... all that was missing was the confetti!), bamboo chicken and mushrooms, and—my personal winner—Thai chicken, slightly spicy, with a unique flavor. If it were a movie, it would win the Oscar for Best Spicy Supporting Actor. The quality? High. Freshness? Present. Portions? Just right... even too much. Let's just say we didn't need a pulley to get up from the table, that's all. The service was courteous and the wait was a bit slow, but it was summer, and we thought: maybe even the wok could take a break. The owner was very kind, explaining a few dishes to us with passion and patience. The relaxing atmosphere, background music, and soft lighting: in short, the perfect mood for a dinner that feels like a break from the hustle and bustle. A note of style: the portable lamps on the tables are that Zen detail that makes you feel like you're part of an oriental ritual, part of a Wong Kar-wai film. Price? €22 per person, which may seem a bit above average for a Chinese restaurant, but you don't come here to fill yourself to the brim: you come to savor, relax, and even digest your thoughts. In short: we'd love to return, perhaps with the excuse of trying the rest of the menu (which could even have a few photos, if we really wanted to be Instagrammers). Recommended if: you want refined Chinese food, authentic dishes, zero chaos, and an atmosphere that makes you forget for a moment you're in Bologna. Not recommended if: you're looking for the battlefield-style "all-you-can-eat" experience. The food here is good, but not great. 👉 P.S.: The green tea tiramisu ends the meal with a "ciao, see you soon." And yes, we said goodbye with a smile.

28/07/2025: We had dinner last night. It's a place we love to return to when we're craving Asian cuisine; it's become our go-to in the area. The restaurant is large, simple, and welcoming, with a good number of tables. The atmosphere is relaxed, nothing too fancy, but it's perfect for a casual dinner. The menu is extensive, featuring both Japanese and Chinese dishes. The food is good, especially for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The sushi is well-made, the fish fresh, and the rice cooked just right. The sashimi, which is included in the price (something not always expected), is appreciated. Some Chinese dishes are very good, others more ordinary, but overall, everything is well-prepared and enjoyable. The only real flaw: the wait times between courses, which can sometimes be a bit long. It often happens that you have to wait too long between orders, which can be annoying at an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Nothing dramatic, but it's definitely an area they could improve on. The staff is friendly, and the service is good, though not always super fast. The price is fair for the food, considering the variety and overall quality. Despite a few things that could be improved, we like this place and will definitely continue to return. It's a surefire go-to when we're craving a good, no-fuss Asian dinner.

05/07/2025: The all you can eat menu with the most courses I have ever found. Some courses have very particular combinations, but to try at least once. A few euros more than the average and with limitations in ordering some dishes. The only flaw, the dishes arrived before the drinks.

15/07/2025: A place out of time and, above all, out of time. No aesthetics, no pandering, but excellent, tasty food, with good ingredients, as if cooked, I imagine, in a real Chinese home. The prices are fair. The atmosphere is surreal and definitely makes it a place to be ❤️

07/07/2025: Uno dei pochi venditori di cibo cinese in cui si sente la qualità e non si arriva pesanti a fine pasto. Buoni in particolare i ravioli, gli spaghetti udon e i secondi.

29/05/2025: Very welcoming place, spectacular food, everything really very good, also the dishes arrived hot and the presentation was excellent. But the thing that really amazed me was the friendliness and kindness of the staff, ready to accommodate our every request, what can I say.. nothing to say. I will definitely be back!

25/05/2025: We arrived at the restaurant at 2:20 pm and even though the restaurant closed at 2:30 pm they welcomed us inside with a smile and kindness. The food was really good, served quickly, hot and very honest portions. With a plate of ravioli, two first courses, a second course, a water and a coffee we spent €25 in total. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

22/07/2025: It's been a while since I've been to a restaurant like this, and I had a good time. The food isn't bad, the atmosphere is in keeping with the type of restaurant. It's a shame that the waiters don't interact with the customers, they don't even respond when you thank them. They're not rude, mind you, but they're aloof...

We found it by chance and now it has become our favorite sushi restaurant 🥰 Beautiful atmosphere, friendly and very fast staff and the food is stellar ❤️ Lots of choice and excellent quality. 05/07/2025: I placed an order through Deliveroo, and unfortunately, it was delivered 45 minutes late. The noodles had an unpleasant taste, possibly due to the use of old or overused cooking oil. The sweet and sour chicken and shrimp were also disappointing—the texture was inconsistent, and the breading was overly sticky, even more so than glutinous rice. Overall, the flavors did not reflect authentic Asian cuisine. Based on this experience, I would not recommend it.

06/07/2025: Very good! Very kind owner, I told her that we urgently needed to eat quickly, and she made us find everything immediately, proposing alternative versions of the dishes. She is very friendly and very nice with the customers, large portions and modest prices. I recommend

04/02/2025: I passed by chance and stopped with friends. Small but nice atmosphere. Served with à la carte choice but they also do you can it. The raw fish is truly exceptional, you can feel that the fish is of high quality. As for the grilled food, I liked it less but it was average. The waitress very kind and quick. I'll be back.
