You can distinguish the individual dishes, there's variety, the staff is courteous, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The restrooms are clean. Highly recommended!

Grandma noodles , mapo tofu , sweet n sour chicken were awesome We ordered a soup can’t remember the name but that was the highlight. Very very spicy with peanuts also in it. One of a kind. Very very nice Chinese food in Florence. Best memory in Florence apart from site seeing)

25/02/2026: After admiring David at the Academy Gallery, I stumbled upon Grandma's Home restaurant around the corner, and the food was surprisingly good. It's rare to find such authentic Chinese food abroad. I was very satisfied with the dishes we ordered for lunch, so I went back for dinner. I don't know if it was because of two different chefs or different dishes, but the taste was slightly inferior to lunch.

We waited over half an hour for our first sushi dish, and despite our reminders, the situation didn't improve. The owners and waiters were very rude and surly. I strongly advise against it.

It's the first time I've been able to enjoy tuna nigiri; I've never liked it at other all-you-can-eat restaurants. Here, however, it had a very delicate flavor. Furthermore, the menu offers unique and varied dishes, and the portions are quite small, which I personally prefer so I can try more. I'll definitely be back!

Final review: Positive experience, and recommended. The only small limitation is the space at the table, but overall, everything is well-managed.

12/02/2026: I regret discovering it only a few years ago, even though this management has been in place since 1998. In my opinion, it's the best Chinese restaurant (not fusion) in Bologna and the surrounding area. The dishes are plentiful, with a wide selection, all worth trying, and cooked without leaving any odors in the room. The recently renovated restaurant isn't large, but this also reflects the friendly atmosphere created by Valentina and the entire wait staff. Furthermore, the prices are also reasonable. So, what can I say: try it and believe it. Highly recommended.
