18/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato al secondo turno un tavolo con vista panoramica, fatelo perché ne vale la pena! Vista mozzafiato, cibo ottimo. Il prezzo vale ciò che paghi, se vieni a castellabate non puoi fartelo mancare. Un complimento particolare va a Carmine, penso uno dei camerieri più gentile e professionale che abbiamo mai conosciuto. Torneremo sicuramente!

18/08/2024: Una perla del Cilento ed il migliore di Castllabate. Una vista meravigliosa e pesce squisito. Come antipasto altamente consigliati il polpo ed il Tresino. Come primi linguine all’astice o al nero di seppia e poi ricciola o tonno come secondo. PS se siete attenti all’ingresso troverete una targa storica e legata al film Benvenuti al Sud.

10/08/2024: I call to ask if there is parking, if they can cook a hamburger for a little girl and I am told yes We arrive there and there is no parking at the facility and you can't get a hamburger They tell me they are equipped for children but they don't have a changing table The prices are sky high and honestly nothing special

03/09/2023: L'accoglienza è stata buona il resto è da dimenticare. La cameriera durante le comande si è mostrata poco professionale. Oltre a descrivere il piatto si è permessa di ricordarci il prezzo quasi a voler dire avete i soldi per pagare. Il piatto che ci ha servito ovviamente a base di pesce non fresco mi ha talmente deluso a me e ai miei familiari che c è ne siamo andati senza prendere altro .In sintesi una delusione TOTALE.

18/08/2024: Pleasant surprise. Unscheduled dinner in Castellabate on August 17th. Excellent mussel peppered, excellent cavatelli with octopus ragù and truly delicious trofie with mussels, dried tomatoes and goat cheese. We then shared a very delicate squid stuffed with escarole, provola, capers and olives. All accompanied with excellent falanghina. The staff very kind and attentive. A thousand thanks

16/08/2024: A very nice restaurant in Piazza del Belvedere in Castellabate. The first "chef's fantasy" first course was excellent and today included tuna genoise. Friendly staff. Clean place, with a breathtaking view. Medium/high prices.

01/08/2024: Abbiamo preso un polpo con patate delizioso e due primi: uno spaghetto con vongole, scampi e scorza di limone e una linguina con cozze, pecorino e nduja buonissimi. Porzioni di pasta abbondanti.

23/07/2024: My experience only refers to the bar, I did not have the pleasure of eating. I find the coffee very good, among the best on the Santa Maria di Castellabate street, the service is good, I saw them slightly in difficulty during rush hour, the place is very nice.

10/03/2024: The restaurant is stunning and the views from the terrace are amazing!! Defo get there before sunset to enjoy the day and night views. Food was fantastic - perfect pizzas, with plenty of selection to suit all tastes. Will definitely be paying another visit.

05/03/2024: Era da tempo che non scrivevo una recensione… Era da tempo che non leggevo una recensione… Soprattutto quelle negative..: Mi viene da chiedere ma che guai avete passato voi Che scrivete romanzi di cattiveria ?! Che avete passato?! Un pacherò in meno Un minuto di cottura in più della pasta Oppure 10 min di attesa in più?! E questi sono i veri problemi della vita?! Ma se riuscite a prendervi una cena oppure un pranzo di relax Ma che vi costa goderlo fino alla fine?’ Io mi fermo qui,perché ogni volta che arrivo in questo paradiso sembra che tutti i miei problemi non esistono più.. L’accoglienza dello staff,dei titolari,.la bella del panorama E la qualità dei prodotti va fuori ogni limite..: Ti fanno sentire a casa… Ti fanno sentire in famiglia per davvero💜

03/09/2024: After booking, most of the non-existent side dishes were missing. After ordering a dish containing a side dish present exclusively on the menu, the dish that arrived incomplete was paid at full price. Don't be fooled by the photos. Disappointing I'm replying here because it doesn't give me the opportunity to comment at 9.40pm on a Saturday evening in the summer, when the potatoes and salad were finished, it's absurd... Was he attacked in the afternoon? beyond this, however, the porchetta dish included potatoes which were not present, the salad was requested which was not there and I can assure you the dish was paid for in full. I hope that the criticisms are a starting point for improving the quality of the service.

12/08/2024: We tried this restaurant again, but apart from the price which remains "low" (first in the order of 14/18 euros), it is not saved by anything else, from waiting times, quality of service, inability to realize that the dinner becomes torture and you keep your gaze low so as not to intercept the gaze of customers who would just like to ask to be considered. Unawareness or guilt? In short, you are there or you are. The place is nice and the kitchen has potential. But terrible management.

19/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato in terrazza ascoltando il rumore del mare. Locale arredato e rifinito benissimo che offre prettamente una cucina di mare un po’ rivisitata. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, i dolci ottimi. I prezzi corrispondono alla qualità delle pietanze portate a tavola. Va detto però che è un locale al sopra della media dei luoghi non tanto per la qualità del cibo ( che in tutta onestà si trova anche altrove) ma per come è allestita e organizzata la struttura. In ogni caso, assolutamente consigliato.

07/07/2024: Il Cefalo is a perfect restaurant! We stayed at the hotel for several days and ate our breakfasts and dinners there. The food and the service were simply the best! Creative, healthy, beautifully crafted food made on site by the family, served with the best Italian coffee or wine… We often dream of our time there sitting on the terrace over the sea, fully relaxed and satisfied!

20/07/2024: Fish-based dinner: delicious appetizers and ravioli filled with exquisite buffalo ricotta. Sweet conclusion with lemon delight and homemade ice cream. Very good! 😊

19/07/2024: Excellent place. It has its pros and cons. The advantages are that if you are not very hungry they have portions of pizzas and they have varieties, the disadvantage of that is that they reheat them in microwaves, which could keep them warm in the window. If you order a whole pizza they make it for you on the spot, I highly recommend this option, the pizza is very good and a reasonable price. Another con is that it is a small place to eat at a table. With everything in the balance, I would go again as soon as I want a pizza

22/08/2024: We went to Alano but found it fully booked. We opted for the nearby restaurant, "trattoria Mulie", which was an excellent discovery... excellent food, very honest prices and efficient and warm service from Domenico, who we had already known for some time but who we didn't know we'd find there. We will definitely be back 👍

02/07/2024: I stayed at the end of May 2024. A truly beautiful and welcoming hotel-restaurant. The owner is a nice and welcoming person. It immediately puts you at ease. For the sea it has its own shuttle to the private beach. The menus, especially fish, are exceptional and expertly prepared. The center of S.M.di Castellabate is located a few steps from the location. The rooms are well looked after and functional.
