The dishes were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, and you're sure to be captivated from the first course. Everything was prepared with great care and the seafood was excellent. Special compliments to the waiter Giuseppe, who was extremely kind, professional, and attentive to every need. His friendliness and helpfulness made the lunch even more enjoyable. Impeccable service! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an excellent seafood lunch, with generous portions and a truly warm welcome. We'll definitely be back!

06/06/2026: We spent 12 nights at Cuore del Cilento and wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Martina and her family. You can immediately sense the love, passion, and dedication with which the hotel is run. We felt completely at ease throughout our entire stay. Every morning we were treated to a lovingly prepared breakfast. We were particularly delighted by the many fresh and homemade delicacies. A huge thank you to Mama Emilia and her staff, who worked tirelessly each morning to ensure we had the perfect start to the day—and also for compiling our favorite recipes. Many thanks also for the impeccable room cleaning. The entire property is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. Special praise is also due to the father of the family, who diligently tends to the garden, plants, pool, and the entire grounds every day. Thanks to his dedication, everything is in excellent condition. Martina and Fiorella were always available throughout our stay and provided us with valuable tips and recommendations via WhatsApp. Whether it was restaurants, beaches, sights, or excursions – their recommendations were always excellent and made our vacation even more enjoyable. Another highlight was the outdoor fitness classes, which were offered even outside of peak season and were a lot of fun. We especially appreciated the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. As an adults-only hotel, Cuore del Cilento is the perfect place for couples and adults who want to escape the everyday routine, unwind, and recharge. Here you'll find peace, relaxation, and a warmth that makes your stay truly special. A heartfelt thank you to the entire family and the whole team at Cuore del Cilento. 11/09/2025: I am confused by the high score that this restaurant achieves. I also note there are no pictures of pizza which is odd for a pizza restaurant. But having been there I now know why. It's terrible! It must be frozen pizza, the dough was strangely chewy, lacking the lightness or outer crispiness associated with a good pizza. The "for Di latte" looked like extremely old tough mozzarella, and the tomato sauce had a colour that was simply wrong. They did however serve a decent wine, however I'm not sure of the cost.

11/09/2025: We (a married couple) were there several times seven years ago. A quaint restaurant in the front area. The back area is somewhat reminiscent of a campsite restaurant. The waiter (presumably the owner) is the same as back then. He seems a bit edgy, but he can also smile sometimes. I had pasta Bolognese and a salata mista, and my wife had stuffed ravioli and stuffed zucchini blossom. We drank beer. Everything was delicious. We will be back.

10/06/2026: TL;DR The best dinner we had on our holiday in Italy We came just for a drink, but the sound of the waves while sitting above the water and the super friendly staff made us stay for dinner — and that was a great decision! We had paccheri with shrimps and fish, and the daily special — Ricciola fish in a tomato and olive sauce. The dishes were amazing — both the freshness and the taste. Bonus — they made my wife a great non-alcoholic Mojito even though it's not on the menu

14/11/2025: I've been going there forever, and I'm never disappointed, whether I order a first course, a second course, or pizza. The restaurant is well-maintained and has plenty of seating, the staff is very friendly, and the parking lot is huge. If you want to spend a reasonable amount of money and don't know where to spend a pleasant evening with good food and want to be sure, go to La Fattoria.

09/11/2025: Beautiful place, it feels like being in a mountain cabin, with a stone fireplace that keeps you company during lunch. Delicious first courses and grilled cuts of meat, local wine and lots of courtesy.

13/09/2025: Only had coffee and croissants here. Servers were patient and helpful. Croissants and corneti were great. We sat outside on the patio for hours planning our day adventures. Family members returned on other days.

08/03/2026: I had a grilled fish (a plaice?). There were still a lot of bones in the fish. And the price was far too high: 30 euros. That's without the side dishes that are usually charged extra in Italy. The dining room, under a kind of covered terrace, was clean but simple, so the ambiance doesn't justify the high price.

25/05/2026: Three years ago I wrote: A beautiful restaurant, well-maintained and attentively managed by the head waiter, with refined dishes prepared under the guidance of an excellent chef. Now the only redeeming features are the location and the very kind and attentive waiter. Mediocre food. No vegetarian options. High prices, and no mention of the chef, who can't even concoct a single dish for vegetarians. Avoid.

30/04/2026: The food is good, with tasty and well-prepared dishes. The stuffed fried eggplants in particular are spectacular, absolutely worth trying! The price is also more than fair, which makes the experience overall enjoyable. Unfortunately, there's a major problem with the service: the wait times are too long and it becomes frustrating.

03/06/2026: I absolutely recommend this restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful, the prices are average, the food is excellent, and the view is amazing. It's a truly beautiful place. Every time I'm in Castellabate, I can't miss a stop there.

01/06/2026: Drawn by a beautiful location, we arrived full of expectations, which were immediately dashed upon reading the menu. The grilled cuttlefish we ordered was lost on the large serving platter, along with a salad leaf from a bygone era. Hunger got the better of us, even though the cuttlefish was extremely overcooked, sometimes even burnt. I mentioned this when asked, but the owner didn't apologize verbally, nor did she offer a rather hefty bill for the amount we'd consumed. A disappointment; we won't be returning.
