07/09/2024: It's been years since I've been here and it's going to be just as many sincerely..slow service, very slow indeed..for a brachettone I waited 90 minutes..in the meantime the beer had warmed up and from a nice evening it had become very bad..

26/01/2025: We are not local but we currently live here, a great and pleasant discovery! We ate very well, a wide choice of seafood starters, despite an allergy they immediately opted for exceptional variations. The paella is also excellent. Friendly and fast service, well prepared and excellent dishes. Absolutely recommended!

26/09/2024: I ordered a margherita, the most classic of pizzas. When it arrived it didn't look bad, but as soon as I tasted it I found it tasteless and rubbery, noticing that the pizza was semi-raw. While my friend ordered the 4 seasons and found himself with a mountain of rocket that was neither fresh nor seasoned. Except for these two, the other pizzas were good but nothing special. I hope this review has been helpful to you and I hope that Al Vecchio Grillo improves its pizzas in the future. P.S at least the waiters were good

15/03/2025: Sono venuta casualmente qui a cena con il mio ragazzo con l’idea di mangiare un panino, siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dalla varietà del menù e abbiamo scelto di ordinare una pizza..non ce ne siamo pentiti!! ci torneremo sicuramente per provare altri piatti

09/03/2025: As a Neapolitan I'm used to very different standards and I'm very demanding... but they know how to make the pizza here, the dough is quite light... the only flaw is the balance of flavours, I took a NOCI&PORCINI (provola, walnuts, porcini mushrooms, spek and parmesan curls)... porcini and parmesan not received, too much speck covered every flavour. My partner had a cut...really good. Comfortable environment and excellent service, worth trying again

29/01/2025: Environment, quality and courtesy are not lacking in this place. Wide choice of starters on the trolley, take what you want for a dish. A historic pizza chef from Battipaglia. Typical local pizza for those who remember the Mogavero pizza. Strategic location on the SS18 adjacent to the petrol station with ample parking. Fair quality/price ratio. You have to try it to believe it.
