The service was quite disappointing, and the food lacked flavor and quality. Not to mention the prices. It's no longer the Malandro it once was. I don't recommend it.

13/06/2025: I am shocked by the negative reviews. Whatever I have had at this restaurant, it has left me speechless. It is a real journey through taste. The refinement of the ingredients, the dough, the cooking is indisputable. The pizza is excellent, the scrocchiarella heavenly. From the first time we went, on the advice of our wedding witnesses, we have now become almost regular customers. I will stop going there when I have tried the whole menu because whatever I have tried so far, from the crocchè with broccoli, to the yellow diavola, to the scrocchiarella in fact, my taste buds have celebrated. A positive note is that nothing "bloats" either immediately after or during the night! I highly recommend it.

02/10/2025: Special Pub: 15 Years of Success — An Unforgettable Evening! The 15th anniversary celebration of Special Pub in Battipaglia was a truly fun event. The atmosphere was electrifying and the organization impeccable. We came to celebrate, but of course we also ate: the food was, once again, top-notch! Amazing sandwiches and specialties, a true guarantee of quality. The owners are fantastic people, and you can see how much they put into this place. Their friendliness and dedication are the true secret to Special's biennial success. A well-deserved achievement. Special Pub is an institution: the food is excellent and the atmosphere is even better!

What can I say, a stratospheric evening, finally an event where we had fun in a genuine way and felt at home, singing at the top of our lungs while laughing and enjoying the company of everyone present!!! The quality of the products is beyond discussion, starting from the originality of the platter to the goodness of the sandwiches!!! And as the icing on the cake (which was also delicious!!!) the fireworks, explosive and colorful like the owners!!! Special, what can I say, YOU ARE SIMPLY SPECIAL ❤️

20/09/2025: The best! The food is delicious, and the meat is truly excellent. We come here often: the appetizers are truly excellent (not just the usual fries, but many unique and delicious treats). Not to mention the sandwiches, which I highly recommend. The ingredients are high-quality, especially the meat, and they're all excellent, with an exceptional and thoughtful combination of ingredients. As for the atmosphere, it really feels like being in a Scottish pub. It's very welcoming, and the staff is truly kind and helpful. One of my favorite places. PS: I recommend booking because it gets very busy, especially on Saturday nights. It's definitely worth it. I also recommend the pork ribs.

03/09/2025: The staff was rude and unhelpful. I pointed out that they were serving people who had arrived later, and they told me I could leave, which I did, taking my money back and canceling the order. When they gave me my money back, they wanted to charge me for a €1 Coke that they'd already served me, still warm, after an hour of waiting. Out of politeness, I didn't throw it at their head.

16/09/2025: The facility is well-maintained and tidy, the staff are young and hard-working, and the food is good at reasonable prices. Kudos to the owner for his excellent management.
