03/08/2025: We're talking about one of Battipaglia's historic bars. Over the years, it has gone through various eras in terms of content and clientele, shifting from a more jazz/rock style to a more "hip" vibe. It no longer enjoys its former popularity. It never excelled in the quality of its aperitivo, but currently it lacks both content and organization. It's a shame, because its location and central location give it great untapped potential.

09/01/2026: How can you not give Saint Patrick five stars???!!! When you want the atmosphere of a real pub outside of Ireland, this is the place to go. The warmth this place exudes is unique. The food, however, has all-Italian quality. My friends and I always watch the Six Nations here. Special mention to Elisa, our super waitress who makes us feel better than at home.

06/11/2025: For Halloween, my family and I, along with some friends, decided to spend the evening there, having booked well in advance. Knowing the evening's schedule, we decided to show up half an hour early to avoid the risk of a long wait despite our reservations, and luckily they seated us: the lighting was so dim you could barely read the menu, the themed music was unlistenable and at times even annoying, and the table was uncomfortable, especially for children. While waiting, we noticed, with great disappointment, that the beers were served in plastic cups... a choice made due to the chaos and crowding, to avoid disruption during the evening. And that's fair enough! It's a shame, however, that they doubled the price, passing off a 0.25 glass as a pint for €6, and sandwiches and bruschetta (a special menu for that evening) all for €10. After half an hour and calling the ordering girl three times, we finally managed to get it, and after an hour, the sandwiches finally arrived. We had to ask for them early because our kids (ages 6 and 2) were hungry. The sandwiches were smaller than usual! As soon as we finished, we ran away because the evening had become boring and the place was too crowded. In conclusion, 5 covers, 5 sandwiches (including just one hamburger), 1 small bottle of water, 3 beers... total €100! ABSURD and SHAMEFUL! I understand that you want to make money on the evening, but you can't charge me €10 for a sandwich with just a hamburger and €6 for a 0.25 plastic cup: it's robbery! One thing is certain... we won't set foot in there again. Being robbed like this just because you wanted to create the event to get more customers (there were rumors of 1,500 reservations) is simply not right! Imagine, on November 2nd we went to eat fish (fresh and well-cooked), we spent less, and the dishes were super generous! YOU'RE SHAMEFUL! Lower your standards, and especially your prices... given the quality and quantity!

The raw fish deserves a special mention: it's not simply raw, it's alive. The freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the raw materials are evident at first bite—clear, clean, and exciting. Completing the experience is the restaurant's elegant and captivating gothic chic atmosphere, which makes every dinner unique and perfectly in keeping with the culinary philosophy. A place where technique, passion, and identity meet. Absolutely worth experiencing.

This is largely thanks to chef Mimmo, who deserves sincere praise: his cuisine combines technique, sensitivity, and respect for the ingredients, with dishes that don't seek special effect but rather strive for authentic elegance, made of clean flavors and well-balanced contrasts. The ingredients arrive directly from the sea off Acciaroli, courtesy of a family-owned fishing boat: a significant added value, evident in every course and making this restaurant one of the few in the area where seafood is truly "at home," appreciated even by the most discerning connoisseurs. The service is another strong point: professional, attentive, and just the right amount of friendly, capable of accompanying the experience without being intrusive but with constant care for the guest. It's that discreet yet effective presence that makes guests feel welcomed and well-attended. The kitchen offers refined dishes, never overdone, with appropriate portions and a structure that highlights each ingredient without overpowering it. 23/09/2025: Total disappointment after positive past experiences This isn't my first time at this restaurant, and we've had good experiences in the past, but unfortunately this time the experience was so disappointing that we've decided to never return. As soon as we sat down, I took a photo of the table and my boyfriend to send to my brother, who was supposed to come with us but couldn't make it due to an unexpected event. After a few minutes, the owner approached me rather aggressively, accusing me of photographing the menu (which was barely visible in the shot). She insisted that it was forbidden to do so, even though that's not stated anywhere, and most importantly... I had no intention of photographing a menu. I really don't understand the point of this accusation, especially since the photo was only visible once, and certainly not something to "steal." I thought the misunderstanding had been cleared up there, but instead the waitress returned shortly afterward, even insinuating that my brother owned a restaurant and that I had photographed the menu for who knows what. Absurd. We were very annoyed by the tone, the aggressiveness, and the total lack of trust towards customers. Such a welcome completely ruins the experience, regardless of the quality of the food. What a shame.

The atmosphere was electrifying and the organization impeccable. We came to celebrate, but of course we also ate: the food was, once again, top-notch! Amazing sandwiches and specialties, a true guarantee of quality. The owners are fantastic people, and you can see how much they put into this place. Their friendliness and dedication are the true secret to Special's biennial success. A well-deserved achievement. Special Pub is an institution: the food is excellent and the atmosphere is even better!

29/09/2025: I'm giving 5 stars only because there aren't 100!!! What can I say, a stratospheric evening, finally an event where we had fun in a genuine way and felt at home, singing at the top of our lungs while laughing and enjoying the company of everyone present!!! The quality of the products is beyond discussion, starting from the originality of the platter to the goodness of the sandwiches!!! And as the icing on the cake (which was also delicious!!!) the fireworks, explosive and colorful like the owners!!! Special, what can I say, YOU ARE SIMPLY SPECIAL ❤️

01/11/2025: I went for dinner for two. The staff were very friendly, and the reservation was quick and easy. The pizza and fried food were really good. Prices were average. The place was clean. I recommend it. One of the best pizzas in the area.

30/10/2025: I was at this pizzeria the other night, my partner and I happened to be passing by. We each ordered a pizza and dessert, but unfortunately we couldn't try the fried foods because the fryer was out of order... But it's an ill wind that blows nobody any good, as we were able to enjoy the pizzas, which were incredibly light and delicious (I wanted to get another one because it was so light, but my partner stopped me). We also ordered desserts, and the homemade cheesecake was highly recommended; the crust was truly delicious. Congratulations, we'll be back!
