23/10/2024: No hay opciones veganas en su menú, pero el camarero era extremadamente servicial arreglando con el chef para dos deliciosas comidas que podíamos comer. ¡Muy apreciado! ¡La mayoría de los camareros encontrados en nuestro viaje italiano de tres semanas parecían enojados y se enojaron por nuestra petición de no comer animales muertos y sus subproductos! El restaurante en sí se encuentra en un hermoso jardín y estaba ocupado con los lugareños. Muy recomendable.

27/03/2025: Had an amazing 4 night stay at Hotel Mary! Vico Equense is a quiet area with a local flavor that provides authentic Italian experiences. This hotel is perfectly located along the coast, only 10 minutes from the city square, the train, and the water! The staff were very genuine, attentive, friendly, and accommodating! The breakfast buffet had numerous options including one of a kind pastries, fresh fruit, juices, eggs, jams, cheeses, etc. The dinner was delicious with great presentation. The view from the room and terrace was breathtaking!! The spa was a special treat and so was the infinity pool. Our first vacation to the coast of Italy couldn’t have been better! Hotel Mary far exceeded our expectations!

27/03/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Mary for five nights. Very attentive service, all the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and modern. Thanks to the team.

25/12/2024: The place is beautiful even if we went on a very rainy Sunday in April 2023 and therefore we could not appreciate the view. Obviously this did not influence my opinion which is very positive but not five stars as I found the service to be approximate and not very attentive and I did not find top ingredients everywhere in the dishes.

19/10/2024: It is a unique place, breathtaking views, family atmosphere and very kind staff, it feels like being at home. Not to mention the genuine cuisine with typical products from the Sorrento Peninsula.

24/03/2025: Abbiamo prenotato per puro caso presso questa struttura tramite le recensioni positive…un po’ scomodo arrivare ma una volta entrati all’interno del locale si respira da subito la bontà del posto. La cucina a vista, pulita in modo maniacale, è il primo biglietto da visita di un locale. Si consigliano le portate di pesce (non fatevi confondere dal luogo), tutto genuino. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto vantaggioso, proprietari gentili ed accoglienti. Si consiglia per gita domenicale pre/post monte faito (dista 15 min).

23/02/2025: Purtroppo, l'esperienza da frate cosimo è stata molto deludente. Nonostante avessimo una prenotazione, abbiamo dovuto aspettare quasi un'ora per sederci al tavolo, non è un buon inizio di serata, ma capiamo che di sabato possa accadere. Quando finalmente è arrivata la tagliata a uno di noi, si è accorta che non era condita con l'aceto balsamico, come indicato nel menu, ma con una salsa di colore scuro immangiabile e con un odore pessimo, che a detta loro era una salsa di ceci. Come se non bastasse, abbiamo trovato un pelo nel dolce, cosa che può succedere anche nei migliori locali, ma la cosa che mi ha infastidito molto è quando lo abbiamo segnalato al cameriere, lui è andato a segnalarlo in cucina e un altro cameriere gli ha risposto in modo arrogante, dicendo che era impossibile che fosse accaduto. Non torneremo sicuramente e non possiamo consigliare questo locale a nessuno.

05/01/2025: Raggiungerlo è un impresa. Scesa dall auto quasi mi rompevo il piede, visto la strada dissestate. Abbiamo aspettato un ora e mezzo per la pizza. Pizza bruciata lateralmente , molto sottile , secca, e sotto tutta sporca di cenere. Abbiamo preso il vino della casa che sembrava aceto. Antipasto mediocre di salumi.

26/01/2025: Negative experience. We found a limited choice of desserts (I hope due to the turnout during the day, I don't know) and the ones we were forced to choose were not the best, the babà with fruit was dry and the fruit cheesecake of the forest it had no flavor other than sugar. The receipt was not brought to the table so we went to pay at the cashier and it wasn't even given to us there, we asked for it and were told "you should have asked for it first, I did it half an hour ago". I do not recommend (Experience made at the bar)

13/11/2024: This is an unbelievably beautiful and special place. It is rustic in all the right ways and extremely welcoming. It is a little out of the way to get to, and you will want the smallest car possible!

01/11/2024: I'll sum it up in a few words: it's a breathtaking location. For my photography studio it's always a pleasure to be able to create wedding services in Astapiana. The spaces are truly immense and vary from the grove with the belvedere to the interiors of the farmhouse. Without forgetting the rooms, cared for and kept in a timeless period atmosphere. The staff, led by the maitre Domenico and the owner, Mrs. Giovanna, is very attentive and fast, organized in a Swiss way and this can only be a joy for a photographer. At the same time, all the dishes, from the aperitif buffet to the desserts, are finger-licking good. I always recommend trying the cured meats and mozzarella made on the spot: they are a delight. The panoramic colonnade calls for spectacular photos and, in summer, the pergola is the dinner area. It will be a pleasure to return for future occasions with my staff.

12/03/2025: Highly recommended pizzeria for quality and affordability. The pizza chef, Salvatore, makes a very light dough which makes the pizza very digestible. Courteous and helpful staff. The only flaw is the internal room which is always crowded, it is better in good weather as you can make use of the upper terrace

20/10/2024: The review is for the restaurant, we did not use the beach services as our visit dates back to the last day of the season. So partial exculpation on some things that didn't go over the top. Availability and courtesy both on the phone for booking, in the morning, and also as a welcome for our little dog. A bee landed on two out of three plates at our table, in the presence of the waiter, and the plates were changed without batting an eyelid. However, a spectacular view (photos attached) is not enough to justify prices of a starred restaurant, in the absence of starred quality. Fish dishes with very little fish, a lot of "research", but very little substance. The sommelière, penalized by a cellar reduced to the bone at the end of the season, presented us with almost excessive enthusiasm a couple of wines and, once we had chosen the Vesuvian one (for a question of coherence with the place), she abandoned us so as not to pour not even a drop anymore. The same goes for water. Things that I wouldn't notice if the price of the experience had been proportionate, but which I am forced to underline in this case. It must be reiterated that the view enjoyed of Vesuvius and the entire southern part of the Gulf of Naples is indeed worthy, but it is not enough.

25/12/2024: Here it feels like being at home. The fantastic welcome of the landlady, her colleagues who serve wonderfully well and always with a smile. You eat well and spend the right amount. A true farmhouse, it offers its own zero-mile products, quality meats and everything else with wisdom and skill. Booking is a must. It's always full.

25/01/2025: This place has a good vibe to keep coming. The staff do their job well, they are polite, friendly (which is why you want to talk to them about anything + they also speak English). Everything is clean and tidy and they don't neglect their work. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place 😎😘
