13/09/2025: Everything about our experience at l'Orangerie was excellent! The ambiance begins as you approach the restaurant through the the pool area warmly illuminated with candles. We are reminded of the deep history of this special place as we pass by a small section of exposed ancient Roman ruins upon which the Hotel was built. The restaurant staff was highly professional, kind and very attentive. Equally high praise to the Chef and the entire kitchen team for the preparation and presentation of a fantastic culinary experience that pleased us on every level. Grazie mille l'Orangerie!!

30/08/2025: The food was mediocre at best! Service was really bad! We got the vegetarian pasta which was slightly undercooked and the fish with potatoes which was tasting ok but a little chewy. The overall service was horrible! We had 3 different servers asking us for food and each of them had no idea what we had ordered so it was a chaos. It showered last night which is not their fault and to be be fair they moved us to a covered space but only after insisting a few times. There was light flickering on the side which spoilt the whole "vibe" of the "fancy" restaurant. The complimentary bread which we got felt "stale" and "chewy". I would expect to get fresh warm bread when I am paying so much price for the food. They seem to make the food and experience so "pricey" but the experience which they offer in return is terrible! Would not recommend again.

03/07/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante e ho provato gli agnolotti: semplicemente spettacolari. La pasta fresca, il ripieno saporito e il condimento perfettamente bilanciato hanno reso il piatto indimenticabile. Servizio cordiale e atmosfera accogliente. Tornerò sicuramente per provare altre specialità del menu.

02/07/2025: Un posto magico, una veduta spettacolare a due passi dal centro di Sorrento, una cena incredibile con prodotti di altissima qualità, ci torneremo sicuramente!

14/07/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Central Sorrento. Very comfortable family room for 4, which had 2 balconies and 2 rooms separated by a sliding door. Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and a reasonably large breakfast buffet selection - something for everyone. Relaxing wellness (purchased massages) and good size outdoor pool. Never too busy, and always found loungers. Great staff at the pool, a variety of drinks served and some food -mainly a lunch menu. Our room faced the street but we were never bothered by noise. Well insulated windows. The hotel and area was quiet, and far enough away from the center of town and the buzz of traffic and evening crowds. Yet only a few minutes walk from a wide selection of restaurants and shops. Will recommended to family and friends, and would be very happy to return. Thanks for a memorable stay in Sorrento!

08/07/2025: We absolutely loved our 3 night stay in Sorrento at Hotel Central Wellness and wish we stayed longer. Located in a great position with restaurants and shops at your doorstep. It couldn't be in a better position. We drove to the hotel and we could pull up right out the front to check in and unpack our luggage. Parking was just a couple of metres behind the hotel so easy to access. The hotel staff at check-in and breakfast where absolutely amazing. The decor was gorgeous throughout the hotel. The hotel was super clean and so well looked after. Our room was perfect. Great size, fresh, clean, a cute verandah and beautiful new bathroom. The breakfast was great, lots of options and delicious sweet cakes and pastries. The pool was a great size, water temperature perfect and right amount of sun, shade and lounge beds and umbrellas. There is not one thing to fault with this hotel. We will be back.

02/08/2025: Absolutely fabulous hidden gem in the heart of Sorrento, near the Basilica. Staff lovely. Always remembered our order from previous visits! Loved this cafe/lounge bar so much that we visited every day of our 10 day stay, sometimes more than once a day. Best coffee in Sorrento!! See you next year!

01/08/2025: A beautiful spot in Sorrento with a wonderful design and feel to it. We have visited here a few times now during our stay and each time we cannot fault it. The staff are attentive and friendly and the drinks menu is fantastic. It just feels fun. If you are visiting Sorrento, I recommend a stop here for a nice cocktail or a refreshing aperitif.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative. Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

29/07/2025: Sono stata al Ristorante Sorrento e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. I piatti erano super buoni, cucinati con cura e davvero saporiti. Il servizio è ottimo: il personale è stato gentile, disponibile e mi ha fatta sentire subito la benvenuta. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato nei dettagli. Anche il prezzo è giusto, considerando l’alta qualità del cibo e l’attenzione che viene data al cliente. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

22/06/2025: Ya sea que esté buscando comida deliciosa y auténtica, excelentes bebidas, música en vivo, un servicio amable o una buena relación calidad-precio, el quiosco lo tiene todo! En un país conocido por su increíble comida, el quiosco ofrece algunos de los mejores que hemos tenido en Italia y es increíblemente buena relación calidad-precio. Hay un ambiente fantástico y agradable, particularmente con música en vivo dos veces por semana. El personal es absolutamente excepcional. Valeria, Franco, Paulo y su equipo son muy amables y serviciales y fueron más allá para nosotros cada vez que visitamos. No puedo recomendar el quiosco lo suficientemente alto, es simplemente el mejor bar de Sorrento. Gracias por cuidarnos tan bien, hiciste que nuestras vacaciones fueran realmente especiales!

12/06/2025: Vinimos a almorzar y realmente lo disfrutamos, comida fantástica cocinada a la perfección, gran servicio y una gran ubicación. No podíamos culpar a nada de eso.

26/02/2025: We stumbled on this place after walking to the Villa di Pollio Felice. What a treasure to find. The bar staff were super friendly and the food and drinks we had were great. The music was pretty loud when we got there around 6pm and there was a youthful crowd, sunbathing. You can swim in the sea off the rocks from here and the sunset is worth any trek you might make to get here.

03/06/2025: Perfecto para terminar el día con un cóctel o una cerveza local sobre la puesta de sol. El personal está muy bien informado con los platos y bebidas que sirven, además de que muy profesional feliz de servir en todo momento. La comida es increíble. Seguramente te hará querer volver.

27/05/2025: Incastonato sulla suggestiva costa della Penisola Sorrentina, Coku è molto più di un semplice ristorante: è un’esperienza sensoriale a tutto tondo. A picco sul mare, con una veduta che lascia senza fiato — soprattutto al tramonto, quando il sole si tuffa lentamente nel blu del Tirreno — questo locale fonde con maestria la freschezza del Mediterraneo con l’equilibrio raffinato della cucina giapponese. Il concept si potrebbe definire “Mediterasian”, e non è solo una trovata di marketing: ogni piatto racconta un equilibrio preciso tra due mondi gastronomici apparentemente lontani, ma che qui dialogano in maniera sorprendentemente naturale. Il crudo di mare, freschissimo, si arricchisce di sfumature orientali grazie all’uso sapiente di spezie leggere e marinature a base di agrumi, mentre il tonno scottato si accompagna a note agrumate e delicate emulsioni che valorizzano la materia prima senza mai coprirla. I sapori non sono mai forzati, e ogni portata è curata anche dal punto di vista visivo, in un gioco di colori e forme che richiama la precisione della tradizione giapponese. La carta dei vini e dei sakè è ampia e ben pensata, e il servizio è attento, cordiale e mai invadente. Coku non è solo un ristorante, ma un luogo dove il mare, la luce e il gusto si fondono in un’esperienza memorabile. Ideale per una cena romantica o per chi cerca un momento speciale da ricordare. Voto: 9/10 – Per la location mozzafiato, la raffinatezza della proposta gastronomica e l’equilibrio tra innovazione e tradizione.

12/07/2025: Me encontré con el mismísimo Ciro sentado afuera de este pequeño y genial bar en las calles de Sorrento y tuve que entrar. Enormes bruschetta frescas, pizzas y cervezas heladas fueron el plato del día en dos visitas. Ciro es un auténtico personaje y, aunque no pudimos asistir, ¡al parecer la música en directo crea un auténtico ambiente de fiesta por la noche!

10/07/2025: El dueño es un tipo excelente (que vive su mejor vida) y el muchacho que cocina la comida es de primera. La comida estaba deliciosa. El dueño es muy divertido. No estamos ahí para estafarte. Te hace feliz solo estar allí Muy realista. Te cuida y la factura será exactamente la correcta. Albóndigas irreales. Acompañado de unas ricas patatas u otros acompañamientos.
