1 the rooms smelled like sewage that we had to sleep with a fan on all night
2 the measly breakfast is not satisfactory
3 the location is excellent because it is in the center of Sorrento
4 for what you pay you can choose better
19/03/2024: A no frills room right in the city center. Clean amenities, staff was lovely, and the breakfast was exactly what I needed! For a quick night it was perfect!

30/09/2023: Be very careful if you need to cancel before you reserve. I canceled 24 hours in advance and used the Fork to reserve. Outrageous cancellation fees which is likely due to how their business is run and their food compared to other restaurants.
16/09/2023: Dopo una passeggiata nel centro storico di Sorrento ci siamo fermati per cena al ristorante l'Orangerie.
La location è molto confortevole. Si cena circondati da alberi di agrumi. Tra le molte proposte gastronomiche abbiamo assaggiato: risotto al limone con gamberi rossi, filetto di ricciola del Golfo e come dessert la delizia al limone. In abbinamento al cibo abbiamo degustato un calice di Greco di Tufo delle Cantine di Marzio.
In conclusione: servizio eccellente e cibo ottimo. Ci torneremo!

30/03/2024: Decent restaurant. The 190-page wine list is impressive. As a welcome, we were poured a wonderful Prosecco. We tried the 5-course fish menu and dessert and were very satisfied and full. Thank you 👍🏻❤️

17/02/2024: Stasera sabato 17 febbraio 2024 alle ore 22:47 io e i miei ci siamo recati a prendere un drink in questo locale. tutto tranquillo finché non mi hanno portato la cannuccia dopo ripetute richieste ed ora alle 23:03 non ho ancora ottenuto la mia ambita cannuccia :(

31/03/2024: Staff gentile e disponibile. Cibo buono. Primo piatti abbondanti e saporiti. Un po’ scadente per i secondi. Buona la frittura di gamberi e calamari un po’ meno il filetto di carne. Prezzi leggermente alti, ma considerando la location, sono giustificati. Piacevole pranzo.
24/03/2024: Amazing food. We had the prawns and the tuna with sesame seeds. Was so tasty and the service was great. We had lovely red wine and Prosecco to go with it and would Recommend to anyone!

07/11/2023: Amazing food, perfect service and large selection of wines. One of the best places to eat in Sorrento! The staff is very kind and polite.
02/11/2023: This place is truly stunning. I spent my birthday here and they were very accommodating in that we were able to book on the day for the evening. The food is reminiscent of Italian food from years gone by, which is very comforting. It's not the place for modern gastronomy but the place for gorgeous comforting Italian classics. The zucchini flowers and the truffle pasta were two favourites from our meal there. The atmosphere of the rooftop garden is the absolute selling point of the restaurant. Perfect for a romantic evening.

24/03/2024: Worst experience of Italy!! Make yourself a favor and don't spend your money here! Here's why... We asked 2 cappuccinos (already knowing the over rated price of 4.5€ each) but we asked with soy milk instead of normal milk... They charged 16€ (7€ extra) claiming that 1lt of soy milk was 10€ (the picture was taken in a supermarket 100mt away from the restaurant) and that it would expire quick (which is also not true and really not my business). After i told them that the price was ridiculous, the server/waitress called me stupid... What else to say.. It was the first time in all my trips and experiences that i left a restaurant without paying due to the lack of respect.
20/03/2024: Waitress should not work near people. She is awful. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

15/01/2024: I ordered wine from their shop to be sent to the US credit card charged month ago but still no wine. Have asked for tracking number but nothing. Hope credit card company gets me my money back.
08/10/2023: Really small portions and not good value for money. Tasted fine but would not revisit.There are too many other restaurants in the area so go somewhere else.

31/03/2024: While we were waiting for our food (1+ hour) we read the reviews here and got a little scared.
The waiting time was explained by the fact that a larger group came into the restaurant shortly before us. However, a couple came about 20 minutes after us and received their pizzas straight after 15 minutes and we had to wait another 20+ minutes.
The pizza was definitely ok, but we've had better on our trip. You don't need to order the canelloni if you're really hungry, or it's best to order two portions. The sidecar salad for €5 was tiny.
In any case, we didn't have any bad experiences and it felt like we had traveled back in time a few years. The two women tried very hard.

06/04/2024: The sardines were very tasty and the lemon cake was also great.
The ambience is not that nice. The terrace is right on the "beach", but it is littered with a lot of rubbish and doesn't really invite you to swim and sunbathe.
The ladies from the restaurant are a bit rude but still friendly.
05/04/2024: We didnt even have a chance to try the food as we were kicked out from the restaurant because we opposed to be scammed (cheated). Staff was very rude and pretended that we ordered something else that we actually did. Avoid this place at all cost.

SIAMO STATI A SORRENTO PER LE "LUCI DI SORRENTO". PER OTTIMIZZARE IL TEMPO CI SIAMO FERMATI PER UN CHEESBURGER IN QUESTO LOCALE. CI HANNO FATTO ACCOMODARE, 9 PERSONE A 2 TAVOLINI DA BAR. QUESTI TAVOLINI ERANO A RIDOSSO DI UNA RAMPA DI SCALINI LARGHI 50 CM CIRCA E CHE PORTANO AD 1 SOLO ED UNICO SERVIZIO IGIENICO CON PORTA CHE NON SI CHIUDE, SENZA ANTIBAGNO, SENZA MEZZI DI ASCIUGATURA MANI, RUBINETTERIA NON A NORMA. ALLA FACCIA DELL'ABBATTIMENTO DELLE BARRIERE ARCHITETTONICHE. I TAVOLINI ATTACCATI DA UN LATO AL MURO DISTANO 50 CM DA UN FATISCENTE BANCONE DA LAVORO. 06/11/2023: Great spot for a snack, burger,excellent fries,even a hot breakfast. Clean,with quick,friendly service. 11 euro for a delicious cheeseburger with fries and a beer,you can't beat that!
