08/08/2024: Excellent restaurant! Super friendly waiters, hearty dishes! I recommend the zucchini risotto and the tiramisu. Everything is really good! A faultless one. Italian atmosphere. Cool for a restaurant with family or lovers. Very affordable price. Covered €2/pers. Super reasonable!

04/07/2024: We ate here twice during our recent stay in Sorrento. The second time was for our 30th wedding anniversary. The location is impressive jutting out into the bay, and the staff had an old fashioned charm and efficiency. For our special meal I had spaghetti vongole as a starter and we shared a fish soup for our mains. Although it’s probably fairer to call it a fish stew rather than a soup, it was full of seafood, including oysters, razor clams, and a whole sea bass. It was absolutely delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this place

27/08/2024: I sit down and more than 10 minutes pass and no one comes to help me. There were only two more tables. Three waiters on the terrace and all talking to each other and looking at their cell phones. Exorbitant prices that take advantage of the views to screw you over. Fatal

26/08/2024: I had the courage to sell a small bottle of Ferrarelle water to take away for 2 euros, let alone if it had been served at the table

24/08/2024: Ritorniamo ogni anno perché il panuozzo è sempre il migliore. Consigliato quello con pancetta formaggio e cipolle! Il servizio è molto lungo... troppo tempo di attesa. 40 minuti per un panuozzo ed una insalata

08/04/2024: Restaurant La Maison Douce in Sorrento. A birthday event; great food, and our waiter, Nello, provided the best service and even invited the restaurant guests and staff to sing a few lines of "happy birthday" that accompanied a special dessert for me and another birthday guest. Arriving here from the US, and to meet such a personable and sincere welcome was such a pleasure.

04/02/2024: The staff are unfriendly and rude

18/08/2024: We went 3 times with the kids. The beds are not cheap but it’s a great day out for swimming and food (which we found excellent). Get there at 9am to secure your beds. You can pop back at any time later.

18/08/2024: We stayed with the family, Lido located in the Port area of ​​Sorrento, well looked after and with friendly and competent staff, sheltered by some cliffs making the sea like a natural swimming pool. The restaurant on the lido is also highly recommended. The food is really good, fantastic Nerano spaghetti and tasty fried fish. They also have a fish counter from which you can choose. Definitely worth picking up!

21/08/2024: WARNING if you’re taking your BUS read this: Another classic on the extremely rude service providers list of Italian cafés. Bought a tea and I asked it “takeaway” because the bus stop is in front of their commerce. Took a seat in their establishment since I bought a product. Second act, the cashier comes at me, raging and yelling that if it’s to go, it’s a different tariff and therefore I must go. So this is the hospitality one can expect at a place like this. Get kicked out even though you bought one of our products. Anyways I’m on vacation having a blast; but it’s worth to share this experience with the internet. Plot twist: I see there are people outside taking their “to-go’s”. So either the woman probably had not a service oriented attitude enough to tell me that I can drink my tea on the outside tables OR (I hope not) she was racist because the ppl outside happen to be caucasian. So, at this point idk how service providers think anymore. I’m just disgusted by their lack of hospitality to customers on a globalized world.

09/03/2024: The waiter was very short with us and not friendly or helpful. My order never arrived and my husband's was mediocre ( how can you mess up a cheese and tomato sandwich?) charged us a fee for sitting down without giving us utensils or bread.

06/08/2024: Overpriced frozen pizza and poor service

04/08/2024: Horrible experience! The waiter was not very kind. We had 3 dishes of spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were cold inside. We let them know and he walked over to the microwave and heated our plates up. Very unprofessional! We didn’t end up eating our meatballs in the end. I do not recommend spending your money here. There are plenty others that are more accommodating and more pleasant!

09/07/2024: We visited here for dinner on a couple of occasions during our 7 night stay in Sorrento, and each meal was exceptional. Pizza, lasagne, fillet steak, etc all very well presented and absolutely delicious. I'm at a loss to explain some of the other low scores as this was definitely not our experience. In fact the meals we had here were some of the best we had whilst in Sorrento. Thoroughly recommended.

07/07/2024: Visited today to have a couple of glasses of wine and get out of the sun for an hour. Not happy we were not eating at 16.00 but happy to take order for drinks and then charged 10 euros extra for tip without asking. Talk about covert charging!

04/08/2024: Dyrt och trångt. Utanför står det att sängarna kostar 25. Men väl inne MÅSTE du dessutom betala 10 till för ett parasoll. Då borde paketpriset stå utanför.

18/07/2024: We liked this beach club the most out of all the one we looked into in Sorrento. Yes, it is expensive to pay for a sunbed and umbrella (50 euros for 2 people) especially coming from the U.S. where we take public beaches for granted, but it felt worth it for a few reasons. First of all, when we went on a weekday in the afternoon even during the summer it was easy to get a spot. We made a reservation, but it didn't seem like we needed one. We were able to get 2 sunbeds and have drinks brought to us at our sunbeds. The limoncello spritz was excellent. Second of all, you can't beat the experience of swimming in the Bay of Naples next to ancient Roman ruins. That was just incredible. Third, we were able to leave our belongings at our sunbeds without any worries that someone would take them because there was a lot of staff around. I would not have felt comfortable doing that at a public beach. We came back for a second time on a weekend, and we should have made a reservation because even at 10:30 AM it was already extremely busy. We had to wait 10 minutes to be let in, and then when we were let in we were only able to rent lounge chairs and not sunbeds. That still wasn't too bad though because the lounge chairs and umbrella were a little cheaper (around 40 euros for 2 people) and we still got to swim, which was the main reason we wanted to be there anyway. The drinks and refreshments are a bit expensive since you're paying for the view and the experience as well. Don't come here if you want a traditional beach experience though. There is no sand. The sunbeds are on a pier. Personally, that did not bother me because I would rather not have sand all over my feet and belongings.

11/08/2024: Terrible food, frozen pizza from the supermarket, potatoes with fish and cherry tomatoes which was nothing more than pasta with a can of tuna Expensive, a first course of this kind costs 22 euros and a pizza that can be purchased by the plate for 6 euros to 16 euros A shame

08/08/2024: We were approached on the street and waved in. It was pleasantly air-conditioned inside. We ate well and were served very friendly. The food was expensive but good. Price performance medium.

28/08/2024: Nydelig mat, upåklagelig service! Utsikten var flott. Resturanten ligger på toppen av hilton hotell. Savnet kun en «5-8-10 retters med kokkens beste retter».

24/08/2024: La location è davvero mozzafiato. Il personale è gentile e sempre disponibile. I piatti sono davvero curati fin nei minimi particolari e inoltre sono di ottima qualità. Davvero consigliatissimo!

05/08/2024: Worst pizza ever, and the service it’s a shame. When I arrived I ask if they charge extra for gluten free food and they said NO, and when they brought me the bill they charged me, and not only that, they were incredibly rude. Don’t go, you’re gonna pay for nothing good. 0 of 10
