Il Casotto

02/08/2026: We grabbed food at Casotto on our way from the beach, and the food we ate was among the best of our three days on Procida. The croquettes and zucchini alla scapece made you smile every bite. I was hoping to stay under €10 per person, but the quality of the ingredients—obviously—is worth paying for.
30/07/2026: The food is delicious, whether you take it home or enjoy it on the beach across the street or in the beautiful Casotto garden. Excellent value, very friendly and helpful staff, and great music!

19/05/2026: I spent five nights in Procida and had planned a gastronomic tour of the island. Da Girone wasn't initially planned, but honestly, I couldn't book a nearby restaurant because the phone was constantly busy (perhaps a glitch), so I opted for this one. Out of eight restaurants I tried, it came in second place! Had I known, I would have returned a second time, as in hindsight, I would have gladly avoided some of them.
15/05/2026: Charming little restaurant with a sea view!
The service was very pleasant.
The lemon salad (an island specialty) was delicious.

13/08/2026: I visited this newly managed and family-run pizzeria and immediately felt at home.
I ate their fried food and I can tell you, I was blown away by it, both myself and my friends.
The pizza was very light, with clearly visible toppings and perfectly cooked.
Then we couldn't help but try their homemade desserts, which were simply superb.
What can I say? Highly recommended.
13/08/2026: I ordered pizzas from this pizzeria I found on Google, and considering the place was packed and crowded, the wait was short.
The pizzas were delicious, just as they were served at the table. My family and I were consoled when we got home.
We'll be back.

23/07/2026: This must be one of the best places near naples to watch the sunset. Unfortunatly there is super annyoing and loud music on the terrace, completly unesessary would much rather have heared the waves. the speakers are also bolted right infront and all around you, so you can really avoid at all. service and apperetive was nice, and again otherwise a great place.
21/07/2026: Simple yet refined, they try to reinterpret traditional dishes, but I have to say the best things I tasted were the plain clam linguine and the peppered mussels. I'd go back to the great classics...

04/08/2026: A wonderful evening with generous servings, but above all, great quality!
I'm very disappointed I couldn't enjoy the rabbit Procida-style, because the mezzano with rabbit sauce was excellent... but perhaps too generous.
I swear I'll be back to try it. Well done, well done, well done.
Oh, and I forgot, don't trust Google Maps, because it takes you to a place where the road is closed. Use the old methods: ask!

24/07/2026: Apart from the stunning sea view, the dishes are exceptional, especially the Bucatino with rabbit, which deserves a 10/10 rating.
21/07/2026: I came here to eat good seafood and enjoy the spectacular view. The food wasn't bad, but I wasn't assigned a table with a view, even though I requested one. I was told those tables were all booked, yet they remained empty for the entire dinner, which was really annoying.
Furthermore, the menu is only accessible via smartphone, and I had no internet connection. I asked the waitress how I could choose, and her response was, essentially, that it wasn't her problem. In the end, I had to ask for the Wi-Fi password just to consult the menu.

Excellent value for money and top-quality ingredients.
Super helpful staff: a knowledgeable and kind young man gave us excellent advice, explaining each product in detail.
If we return to Procida, we'll definitely stop by!

I've been a customer of this place for a year now and have always appreciated the quality of the coffee and the welcoming atmosphere. However, recently I've noticed a significant change in the service. The waitress always seems rushed and unhelpful. I ordered a cappuccino and had to wait longer than usual. When it arrived, it was cold, and the waitress slammed it on the table without even asking if everything was okay.
What struck me most was her attitude; it seemed like she was doing us a favor by serving us rather than providing quality service. Considering I'm a regular customer, I expected better treatment.
I hope the service improves soon, because the place deserves better. Perhaps they should work on customer service and staff training. The quality of the coffee is still good, but service can make a big difference.
*Tip for the place*: A little more attention to customers could make a big difference. I continue to hope for better.

29/07/2025: Ambiance chaleureuse dans un lieu agréable vue sur le coucher du soleil sur la mer la cuisine est savoureuse des linguini à la vongole parsemé de fleurs de courgettes et de boutargue (œufs de mulet séchés) le poisson est pêché du jour un véritable voyage dans la gastronomie locale
27/07/2025: Llorando porque he estado en Isquia durante 2 semanas, nuestro segundo día en Procida, y este fue el mejor lugar que hemos experimentado hasta ahora! ¡Y yo soy amante de la comida y hemos comido en tantos sitios! Entramos sin reserva un domingo a las 7 de la noche: 30 . Fueron reservados, pero lograron encontrarnos el mejor lugar, en la playa, para 2 personas. Los servidores, todos y cada uno de ellos, y 💫💫💫💫 para Giuseppe, que era nuestro servidor real. Era tan amable e hilarante y servicial (! ) sí! ensalada de caballa con helado 🤔 era en realidad bueno! Todos trabajaron en equipo ayudándose mutuamente. ¡Y omg! Además de la comida fenomenal, estaba la vista: puesta de sol literal en la playa. Tanoooooo precioso ... así que si estás planeando un compromiso , hazlo IT aquí! Muchas gracias por el tiempo increíble! ¡La gran comida! Y el servicio. ¡Grazie Mille! Estamos aquí una semana más y nos volverás a ver. ❤️
