Il Casotto In Procida

We grabbed food at Casotto on our way from the beach, and the food we ate was among the best of our three days on Procida. The croquettes and zucchini alla scapece made you smile every bite. I was hoping to stay under €10 per person, but the quality of the ingredients—obviously—is worth paying for.

The food is delicious, whether you take it home or enjoy it on the beach across the street or in the beautiful Casotto garden. Excellent value, very friendly and helpful staff, and great music!

Il Casotto is one of those places that instantly puts you in vacation mode. A pleasantly quirky, informal, and original place, where time seems to slow down and the only thing to do is relax. The location is truly its strong point: a large garden decorated with pallets, boats transformed into furnishings, ample seating, fairy lights hanging everywhere, nautical decorations, and countless artistic details that create a magical atmosphere, especially at sunset and after dark. Everything is made even more pleasant by the sea breeze, perfect on the warm summer evenings of Chiaiolella. The atmosphere is young, dynamic, and very welcoming. The service is informal yet quick and friendly, exactly as you'd expect from a place of this kind: without unnecessary formality, but with a smile. The food is quality street food. We tried the cuzzetiello with sausage and broccoli rabe, truly delicious, well-filled, and prepared with flavorful ingredients. It's the ideal place for a simple yet delicious dinner, accompanied by a beer or a drink, without sacrificing the pleasure of a refined and atmospheric location. If you're looking for an elegant and formal setting, this is probably not the right place. But if you want to spend an evening surrounded by soft lighting, music, relaxation, friends, and an authentic summer atmosphere, Il Casotto is a must-see during a vacation in Procida. A place to stop, unwind, and enjoy the magic of Procida's evenings.

The food was good, homemade. The cutlet and meatballs were delicious, too. The space behind it was very nice. It's an alternative dining option facing Chiaolella beach. The only downside was the somewhat unfair prices, despite the spirit of the place. A Procida salad (with potatoes, tomatoes, and other vegetables) served on a cardboard plate for €10 and a Peroni beer for €3 seemed excessive to me.

Forget about the beach view and enjoy.

Kiosk on the beach with a beautiful internal garden. We ate a fabulous parmigiana and meatballs. Highly recommended!!!
