10/05/2025: We had dinner in this restaurant the other evening, it was an idyllic setting! Very intimate, with a superb view of Ischia. I had the gnocchi, they were really DELICIOUS. The server was really lovely. Very helpful, friendly and with good advice. Small recommendation: the tiramisu was delicious. The best of our stay in Puglia!

26/05/2025: Stepping into the San Montano felt like finding a new home away from home. The staff was lovely; always attentive but not hovering. The views across the entire property were unbelievable - they are the only property on Ischia that has direct sunset and sunrise views daily. The included breakfast spread was delicious, as were all of the meals we ate on property. We were upgraded into a suite and it was huge with a beautiful sea view. Although not directly in town, it was an easy shuttle into Lacco Ameno and easy to get around the island on your own. Ischia truly felt like a dream for me and this hotel played a huge role in that.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

The hotel is magnificent: wherever you look, the view is splendid. The service is absolutely perfect, from breakfast to reception (special mention to the two lovely young men at the front desk), including the housekeeping staff.
Breakfast is delicious: you can find absolutely everything you could possibly want, both sweet and savory. We were lucky enough to be invited by the manager to dine in the hotel restaurant, and the food is just as excellent as the service.
I couldn't give it 5 stars solely because of the room, which I found out of step with the rest of the property. It's dated, poorly maintained, and the quality of the tissues/toilet paper is worthy of a budget hotel—which is incomprehensible given the overall standard.

07/05/2025: One of the best Neapolitan pizzas I've ever eaten, perhaps the best in Ischia. Simple, fresh and genuine ingredients for a classic margherita, with an excellent flavor and aroma, with a soft and light dough, which is also highly digestible.
22/04/2025: Located in the center of Lacco Ameno, a renowned holiday resort on the island of Ischia, former residence of the great commentator Angelo Rizzolo. They currently make amazing pizza. It's a shame that the place isn't very big, and sometimes it's full and you can't get a table or you have to wait for one to become available.

26/04/2025: Abundance of excellent food and hospitality, this is how I would define my experience in this restaurant.
Starting with the appetizers, the homemade fried foods are sublime, the Casertana mozzarella is the best, the fish in the seafood salad is extremely fresh. Then we had fish first courses, Sorrento style gnocchi and for the children chicken cutlet and beef fillet accompanied by stellar homemade chips. Mrs Patrizia, an excellent hostess, offered us a taste of bucatini with rabbit sauce which she is very proud of, they were excellent too! It's a shame that we only discovered this place the evening before leaving, when we go to Ischia again it will be a fixed stop! To conclude, coffee and a herbal liqueur are also excellent... We can't wait to return! Thank you

13/05/2025: O'Pignattello destacó por el servicio amable y generoso tanto como por la comida. Adaptaron nuestro menú degustación de mariscos para adaptarse a una alergia a los frutos secos, así como nuestro deseo de probar una pasta de conejo. Me encantó la variedad en el aperitivo "Cartas en la mesa". Hicimos un maridaje de vinos y las elecciones fueron muy buenas; nos recargaron las copas (gratis) si nos quedábamos sin vino durante un curso. Gracias por una comida memorable de Ischia.
08/05/2025: Sentí como si tuviéramos que experimentar una verdadera comida isquiana! Tuvimos el conejo, todo estaba absolutamente delicioso. Fueron muy amables y el mejor anfitrión. ¡Nuestro restaurante favorito de la isla!

29/05/2025: Saturday night we decided to go to "casa colonica" the restaurant located inside the Negombo. We were immediately taken by the beautiful welcoming and familiar structure. We decided to entrust ourselves completely in the hands of Enzo the director who advised us on the culinary journey. Really happy with this choice, Enzo advised us everything and gave us freedom of choice, and I must say that the Ischian rabbit dumpling was exceptional. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel at home in a fantastic place in the wonderful Ischia. Compliments to all the staff, you eat really well

07/05/2025: I ate very well, I changed my mind about some of my prejudices, including cheese with fish or sauce. The paccheri with mussels and pecorino were very good, as were the scialatielli alla pescatora, which were also very abundant. I also recommend the mixed starter for two
01/05/2025: Local by the sea, it does not disappoint expectations. Simple dishes, but with good products. Some raw materials to review such as squid, but the chef is very good. We had a great time.

01/09/2024: I have been going to this pool for 39 years, and the new management has greatly improved the already splendid pool; wasps? Well we are talking about chlorinated water, a panacea for hated wasps. Being located in the heart of Marsica where wasps are at home everywhere, I don't understand those who complain (maybe they live in a world where they don't exist at all 😆😆😆😆); Olympic swimming pool, the only one in Marsica, perfect and impeccable catering, polite staff (of course if teased I would challenge anyone not to lose their temper). The POS, I see people trying to pay for a single coffee with a card, the same ones who make a fuss in their establishments or invent "tobacco products can't be paid with a card" but you can). Rather, I complain to those who park illegally or don't respect the one-way traffic. Let's all examine our consciences.

03/05/2025: This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel. The friendly service at the beginning ended up being too present. We are offered fresh fish without ever giving us the price per kilo and it is of course a mistake on our part to have ordered. The addition ends up very salty...

18/10/2024: Fui aquí con mi novia, el ambiente es una gran mezcla de romance y costa. Nos recibió un hombre muy amable que nos mostró a nuestra mesa. Para empezar teníamos mejillones frescos y almejas, era lo suficientemente grande para compartir. Junto con tuvimos un poco de vino local de Isquia.
Para la alimentación teníamos langostino y calamar. También era bueno, aunque solo había 4 langostinos (relativamente grandes).
Después el dueño nos dio un capricho de licor local, limoncello y rucola.
En general llegó a 82 €, un poco de precio para nosotros porque somos estudiantes, pero me imagino que si tienes dinero para adultos es un precio bastante decente.
Ambiente acogedor, personal amable y menú interesante. Lo recomendaría, pero solo si te gustan los mariscos.

10/05/2025: Uno dei tanti locali “croupier” per turisti facoltosi, in particolare per gli americani che notoriamente sono di bocca buona.
Tanta fuffa, poca sostanza, cantina ridicola per il costo del menu, sinceramente esagerato.
Anche l’arredamento e il servizio sono rivedibili.
Rien ne va plus!
09/05/2025: Absolutamente deliciosa comida y excelente servicio. Tuvimos un tiempo muy agradable con deliciosos bocados y algunos de los mejores vinos que he tomado. El personal era muy amable y fue más allá para hacer nuestra noche especial, especialmente para el cumpleaños de mi esposa. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

20/04/2025: I ordered an Aperol Spritz on Easter Saturday. There were 5 dead ants floating on the drink. The waiter wasn't interested in my complaint.
27/12/2024: A trendy restaurant, in a very welcoming, refined and romantic location. We ate some very good spaghetti with clams! Price a little above average. Good food.. but the cover charge is €3 with a paper napkin 😁!
