13/07/2025: During our week in Ischia, this was by far the most memorable and delicious dinner we experienced. Every dish was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere added perfectly to the overall experience. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend it.

26/05/2025: Stepping into the San Montano felt like finding a new home away from home. The staff was lovely; always attentive but not hovering. The views across the entire property were unbelievable - they are the only property on Ischia that has direct sunset and sunrise views daily. The included breakfast spread was delicious, as were all of the meals we ate on property. We were upgraded into a suite and it was huge with a beautiful sea view. Although not directly in town, it was an easy shuttle into Lacco Ameno and easy to get around the island on your own. Ischia truly felt like a dream for me and this hotel played a huge role in that.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

The hotel is magnificent: wherever you look, the view is splendid. The service is absolutely perfect, from breakfast to reception (special mention to the two lovely young men at the front desk), including the housekeeping staff.
Breakfast is delicious: you can find absolutely everything you could possibly want, both sweet and savory. We were lucky enough to be invited by the manager to dine in the hotel restaurant, and the food is just as excellent as the service.
I couldn't give it 5 stars solely because of the room, which I found out of step with the rest of the property. It's dated, poorly maintained, and the quality of the tissues/toilet paper is worthy of a budget hotel—which is incomprehensible given the overall standard.

03/08/2025: An excellent, time-honored Ischian restaurant with a vast menu ranging from premium meats to fish, especially Ischian-style rabbit. Fast, impeccable service and excellent prices.
03/08/2025: The fish is fresh and well-cooked, but the constant, excessive crowding makes the atmosphere overwhelming, forcing the very friendly staff to try to vacate tables early. The price is average.

16/08/2025: The waitress was incredibly rude, with her white hair swapped around. Plus, the pizza was awful. Go to the pizzeria next door, it's on another level.
10/08/2025: We went here for pizza. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but it wasn't anything special, perhaps because mine was still a little undercooked; it was still springy, but the toppings were good and plentiful.
The place is beautiful, right on the seafront, across from the Fungo di Lacco Ameno restaurant.
A note on the price of the drinks, which seemed really excessive to me, as well as the €3 cover charge for cutlery and a paper napkin.

22/06/2025: A terrace on the sea in Lacco Ameno where you can eat traditional fish-based cuisine prepared very well. The first course of the house was excellent, the fried fish was good but some things were a bit dry (tondino), the owner was polite..... the only flaw that doesn't depend on them is finding yourself surrounded by cigarette smoke from the tables around.

31/07/2025: We visited Ristorante O’ Pignattello for an aperitif last weekend.
The hospitality is sublime, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The staff, from the maître to the commis waiters, is attentive, professional, and kind, making sure you are well taken care of at all times.
The venue is meticulously curated down to the finest details. From handcrafted tables to unique ceramic centerpieces, it’s clear that the aim was to create a welcoming space rich in artisanal references to Ischia and the Campania region.
The food was the cherry on top. From the amuse-bouches prepared by the chef, to the bread basket and the final sweet pastries, every element was delightful.
A special mention goes to the rabbit braciola, a delicious recipe and a creative take on the traditional Ischian rabbit dish truly outstanding.
We absolutely recommend this restaurant.

01/06/2025: We stopped (as tourists of course) looking for a restaurant in the evening, and we were pleasantly surprised. The meat is quality and you can taste it, while the rice supplì and potato croquettes are genuine and homemade. The baked potatoes are stellar. Price in line and an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: Unique and charming location. The staff was kind and friendly, although service wasn't always prompt. The food was good, with exquisite flavors. My pasta was very al dente, which I liked, but those who prefer a softer texture might find it a bit off-putting. The Ischian meatballs were excellent: definitely worth a try!

31/07/2025: A charming place, with incredibly fresh and well-prepared fish, and excellent first courses with just the right amount of seasoning that adds flavor to the dish, far removed from those oil-soaked first courses that rival only plain pasta. Compliments to the chef. Friendly and courteous staff. Excellent value for money... what more can I say? Highly recommended, we'll be back soon.

I had the pleasure of dining at Il Delfino restaurant, and I can say without hesitation that it was an unforgettable experience. From the first moment, you can feel the elegant and refined atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a combination of quality, flavor, and hospitality.
The fish is absolutely fresh, expertly cooked, and impeccably presented. Each dish showcases Mediterranean tradition with a touch of creativity that surprises and captivates.
The staff is exceptionally kind, always attentive but never intrusive.
Truly exceptionally professional.
The owners, exquisite in their hospitality, make every guest feel at home, with that authentic warmth that only special places can offer. And Il Delfino proved to be a special place.
The cleanliness of the premises and professionalism are impeccable, as is the service: everything arrives at the right pace, allowing you to enjoy every course without waiting or rushing.
Excellent value for money. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ischia looking for a top-notch gastronomic experience.
It will be a must-visit for me every time I visit Ischia.

10/05/2025: Uno dei tanti locali “croupier” per turisti facoltosi, in particolare per gli americani che notoriamente sono di bocca buona.
Tanta fuffa, poca sostanza, cantina ridicola per il costo del menu, sinceramente esagerato.
Anche l’arredamento e il servizio sono rivedibili.
Rien ne va plus!
09/05/2025: Absolutamente deliciosa comida y excelente servicio. Tuvimos un tiempo muy agradable con deliciosos bocados y algunos de los mejores vinos que he tomado. El personal era muy amable y fue más allá para hacer nuestra noche especial, especialmente para el cumpleaños de mi esposa. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

20/08/2025: Friendly owner and generous portions, but... they "squeeze and scam the customer"! They charge you an extra bottle of water, the unfriendly cashier rounds up the bill several times, and they push you to choose the most expensive items when you're choosing (a bit too blatantly). Go elsewhere!
09/08/2025: The view is beautiful and evocative, but you can find it at other beach restaurants as well. The service needs some work, especially regarding the timing of the dishes. If you order fish by weight, bring a scale. Otherwise, the food is nothing special. I definitely won't be returning.
