I had a wonderful evening. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was quiet, where I enjoyed delicious scialatielli and seafood off the menu. Prices are reasonable, and they have excellent local wines, but you can also find other labels from all over Italy.

Vittorio is a true host; he makes your evening a real experience. The food was also superb. We ordered off the menu; my husband and I had lobster with pasta. Highly recommended.

To be more concrete, what are the strengths and weaknesses of this place: The location is on a street, not having seaview, in an area of the island where the category of tourists is seeking for a low budget dinner. Offering lobster for €180,-/kg is beyond the average of the island. The mistake of the service is that the weight of the lobster and fresh fish is not communicated transparently in advance to the customers. This created some angry comments here labeling the restaurant manager as "Scamer". The wine list is impressive and offered in a nice detailed App. Even the waiter mixup the wine I ordered and actually had with the pricier wine he changed me, I still enjoyed it. The restaurant is also charging unusually for Ischia a 10% service charge instead of a coperto. These factors are causing understandably the "scam" feeling of numerous guests who shared here their experience. But out of fairness, the invisible chef in the kitchen must given a credit for cooking well.

Absolutely fantastic place. Owner is very friendly and welcoming, especially to us New Jerseyans. Food was great, atmosphere and service was absolutely perfect. I got clam linguine and my wife got raviolis, we were both very happy with the meal and the prices. Our dinner reservations got cancelled and we found this place on a whim, but it was very successful.

The best restaurant I dined at during this vacation in Ischia. Vittorio and Monica were extremely friendly and professional. I asked for something off the menu and it was no problem. Excellent food and a truly friendly atmosphere. We have a table booked again in two evenings. Highly recommended.
