10/10/2025: Ate the most delicious pasta with rabbit, add in some fresh bread, local vegetables, olives and local white wine. A really relaxed lunch with an island feel. Staff were really friendly, the view was great and there is even local art by the family on display inside the restaurant.

19/09/2025: Vacation period from September 15th to 25th, as a couple. Characteristic place, fantastic views, beautiful clean sea, crystal clear waters, few free public beaches, small but clean and tidy. Private beaches are generally overpriced, especially considering our time of year. Parking and taxi fares for short trips are also too high. Even buses cost €5 per ticket for a 2km ride. It seems excessive to me. Very narrow and winding roads with significant climbs and descents, where even with a speed limit of 30km/h, residents (knowing the roads well) drive full blast, resulting in high risks on the curves, most of the time with no visibility. Also, for us, who are here in the S. Angelo area, 2km away. Getting there on foot is a challenge (especially for me, a 74-year-old who's just recently had a hip replacement) with steep inclines, and long, steep steps with steps higher than normal (like Lenten penances). Our hotel also has steps everywhere, no elevator, and it's certainly not wheelchair-accessible. So, all things considered, I don't think I'll be returning to Ischia unless I find a beachfront hotel with breakfast and dinner at a decent price that won't cost me a kidney for the stay! 🤭🙄😳😉

14/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria!!! We ate there throughout our entire stay, we tried almost everything 🤣 They're excellent, inexpensive, and the staff is lovely! We highly recommend it.

14/11/2025: We discovered this pizzeria right next to our rental and we were won over! The pizzas are excellent, but don't miss the antipasti (marinated peppers, grilled eggplant with cherry tomatoes...) a real treat! In addition to the food made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, the service is just as welcoming. You can go there without hesitation.

14/10/2025: This is such a find. We are two English speakers and we just so happened to stumble upon Mina's cute and cosy little pub. Mina is born Italian but lived in England for the first 19 years of her life, and she made us feel right at home in Ischia with her genuine kindness and warmth. Excellent drinks, and lots of local advice helped us navigate the rest of our trip. I am so glad we game here. Mina, we will be back! Love Dan & Zoe

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ristorante La Capannina in Ischia with my family and we couldn't have been more pleased! From the first moment, we were enchanted by the beauty of the place. Our apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. It was the perfect retreat after a day spent exploring the island. The real magic, however, was revealed in the restaurant. Dining with a breathtaking view of the Aragonese Castle is a breathtaking experience. And the quality of the cuisine? Simply excellent! Every dish was a delight. Even the rich and varied breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. And what about the staff? Every member of the dining room staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to accommodate our every request with a smile. They made our vacation even more special. I highly recommend La Capannina to anyone looking for a place where luxury, comfort, and an unforgettable view come together in a unique, wonderful experience. We can't wait to come back!

The location is superb, with a view of Naples across the bay, service is very attentive and the food quality unparalleled! Loved every aspect of my meals. I returned every day during my stay on the island. I highly recommend Bagno Tre Stelle!

23/10/2025: Usually breakfast is a problem when I travel in Italy, but not here! We stayed in ischia for over a week and had breakfast here every day. Food was so fresh and different to everything else around, location is perfect, great atmosphere in the bistrot. Mostly though, the staff are what make it. We were greeted with a lovely smile and warm welcome every day. There is a lovely team of people who own and run the place. Do visit, you won't be disappointed
