04/04/2026: One of the worst dining experiences we've had in Italy. They told us the restaurant was "full," while we were sitting at an empty table. Only after insisting did they seat us: it was clear from the start that they weren't interested in customers. The drinks arrived quickly, and that's about the end of the good news. The food took over 45 minutes, with no updates. We had to keep asking, even though we told them we had a hungry child. They didn't care. To top it off, they completely forgot one of our three dishes. And the food? Honestly, shocking. The pizzas were some of the worst we've ever eaten, anywhere. The dough was so hard it felt like chewing gum, the toppings were either burned or almost nonexistent, and the only thing they didn't skimp on was the cheese. Terrible service, even worse food, and zero accountability. There are so many great places to eat in Italy: this isn't one of them. Avoid at all costs. 01/05/2026: Grotesque. We were served frozen chicken cutlets and fries with absolutely no attempt at presentation. And on top of that, a 50% surcharge on the bill for the cover charge (normal in Italy), but also for service, and a place setting for our 1-year-old son who didn't eat. Avoid this place unless you're willing to pay extra for poor food.

30/04/2026: The ravioli were good, but only 5 tiny ravioli on the plate? I've never seen that! My wife had a plate with hardly any pasta. We didn't order dessert; we were disappointed. The waiters were glued to the TV. It's a tourist trap: 40 euros, so 5 euros for the cover charge and 3.50 for service in total! I don't recommend it. The decor is nice, though.

24/09/2025: Well-kept facility and clean sea, free showers (cold water). Parking is €6 for the whole stay, very good; two sun loungers are €30 at the end of September, a bit pricey. The beach is rocky: water shoes are required. Overall, beautiful!

03/09/2025: I was at this beach club the day before yesterday, intrigued by the positive reviews and their Instagram page, which convinced me to go. It's very nice, I must say, impeccably organized, everything very well-organized and cared for. I have nothing to complain about even the bar area. If I had to find a negative, it would be the "bathrooms"—they're comfortable and have all the amenities—but there are some customers who don't know what hygiene is here, let alone at home. Just one phrase: "Toilet bowls covered in urine." I don't blame the beach club... but they could be a little more careful about this. What else can I say? The underpass from the parking lot to the beach club is very convenient. I'll definitely be back.

06/12/2025: This is a wonderful place to have a drink. The range of whiskeys gin vodka and tequila are extensive and Paco who welcomed us was so knowledgeable and passionate about every type of alcohol around the world. This was a wonderful experience.

21/11/2025: …I stopped at this place Gran Caffè Napoli 1850!!…so I find myself in Castellammare di Stabia!!…for an aperitif and a short break!!…historic place!!…in a strategic position!!…right near the Villa Comunale!!…and on the avenue of the center!!…it is said that over the years many famous people have frequented this place!!…even if the external entrance leaves a little to be desired!!…I sat at an outdoor table!!…on the internal veranda!!…and I ordered a glass of local white wine!!…I was served Falanghina!!…a wine I already knew!!…a wine from southern Italy!!…from Campania!!…I also had some savory snacks!!…to accompany the wine!!…what can I say!!…it was a short but pleasant break!!…here at Gran Caffè Napoli 1850!!…Castellammare di Stabia from live!!…🇮🇹🍸🍟🎉👍🎉⬆️‼️

26/04/2026: What really makes me angry and leads to this bad review is the lack of honesty... how is it possible to present something like this... and I appeal to the chef! Because this isn't a mistake, it's a HORROR served up with cunning and intention (the burnt part turned upside down inside what was supposed to be two sandwiches). I would never have dared to put out a dish like that.

04/03/2026: Excellent food, perfect service, very friendly staff, very charming and well-kept location. If you want to spend a pleasant evening, I recommend booking a table here.

23/02/2026: We were warmly welcomed by the waitress, a friendly and experienced person who also recommended an excellent wine, as she's a sommelier. We trusted her and were completely satisfied. The dishes were truly delicious, but most importantly, they listened and were able to accommodate my partner's needs, as she has celiac disease. We will definitely be back next season.

08/03/2026: Today we stopped for an aperitif with my children. My one-year-old daughter touched the sweets and threw them on the table. The waiter's rudeness in judging Neapolitans is shameful. I'm from Castellammare di Stabia, and nothing like this has ever happened to me in any bar. Anyway, the waiter is the clean-shaven one. You'd better send him because you'll lose customers. I personally won't come back, and it won't give good publicity.

15/11/2025: Never go out to eat. The staff is incompetent. You order one thing and they bring you something else, and the food is terrible.

14/10/2025: We were invited to a ceremony, to tell the truth we were very impressed by the well-kept location and the truly tasty dishes. We will think about it for another event.

01/01/2026: As others have already written, you can't pay by card, especially for small amounts, despite it being a renowned and absolutely expensive bar!!! I'm honestly shocked, given that electronic payment is a customer right and a mandatory service for every business!!! The customer is always the one who decides how to pay!!! Furthermore, the prices are decidedly expensive, and it's the only bar in Castellammare, I believe, and among the few in Italy, that charges extra for the coffee stains!!! Furthermore, the staff isn't the friendliest you'll ever meet. What can I say? If you want, you can even avoid it!!
