23/01/2026: Recommended by friends for the excellent traditional cuisine, the welcoming atmosphere, and the kind and welcoming owner. Well, everything was excellent. After sampling the meat dishes, we'll definitely return for the seafood. The mix of hot appetizers was excellent (meatballs, crocche, eggplant parmigiana, and escarole), the superb first courses (Genovese, scarpariello, and bucatini with broccoli rabe and stracciata), excellent second courses (sausage with broccoli rabe and mixed meats for Neapolitan ragù), and finally, the exquisite desserts (pastiera and tiramisu). Definitely worth returning.

11/04/2026: A perfect place to watch football with friends. The food is also good. To ensure a good view of the game, it's best to book a table to secure a comfortable seat.

12/07/2026: I went to Smoky Joe's yesterday after seeing it on TikTok, and I have to say it met all my expectations. It must be said that with all the food blogs on the internet these days, it's not always trustworthy, but all the positive reviews are definitely true. Delicious food, super friendly staff, and exceptional service. The meat melts in your mouth, so good. I'll definitely be back!

07/06/2026: I've been following him on Facebook for months, I'm fascinated by the explanation of his recipes, and I often replicate them and they turn out well. This evening my husband and I decided to go there in person, the atmosphere is super nice, large enough to organize an event, but now let's move on to the excellent welcoming staff, the waiting time was just the time to set the table, there was a mistake in our order, instead of 2 Montanarine I received 4, obviously I pointed it out because if the order wasn't ours it was right that he returned them, they were kindly offered to me by the manager, we also ordered a rice ball as I like to call it which was nothing short of amazing, the classic frittatina which I haven't eaten so far, tastier, and then stop everyone, a broken zito alla genovese which for my taste was the winner, apart from the portion but then pieces of meat everywhere, the bill was in our opinion more than fair, not only will we return but no more than 2 in fact ... I highly recommend it

What can I say except that the place is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the food is truly delicious: high-quality, dry fried fish, delicious ziti alla genovese, and the bill is fair for the quality. Two montanarine with ragù, two arancini with ragù, a classic frittatina, two ziti alla genovese, water, bread, and cover charge: €41.50. We'll definitely be back.

02/02/2026: A very quaint place. The food isn't anything special, it's good and clichéd (not that that's a bad thing), but the pub shines with its extensive and good-quality beer selection. There are also several board games to play. It's a very quiet place, and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back.

14/06/2026: Really nice resturant. It is designed around American cuisine. But they also have some Italian dishes as well. Single patty Hamburgers are Huge. I will say the burger was a little greasy but Very delicious! You can tell they made everything fresh just for us. The fried potatoes were perfect. There is street parking nothing else.

10/05/2026: Make sure you eat before you come. +10 minutes before you get the menu +10 minutes before you order +20 minutes before you get drinks +60 minutes before you get food (3 tables were occupied, so they weren't busy) Food is okay but not worth the wait. Total time wasted on breakfast 1 hour 30 minutes. Lived in Italy 7 years travelled all throughout Italy, worst service in Italy guaranteed.

13/03/2026: Everything was noteworthy, from the discreet and attentive service of the dining room staff to the simple "peculiarity" of the setting, but if there was one thing (at the end of the service I asked the chef to convey his cooking philosophy to me) that really didn't convince me, it was the 65° egg and the sauce accompanying the sole Wellington. The combination of strong flavors was almost unbearable for my palate and even my stomach. When I asked "is the egg always served like this" (in my opinion, the main character of the dish is suffocated by the lingering flavor of melting leek and Parmigiano Reggiano foam), the chef called the egg a "clever dish"... well, for me, cleverness doesn't pay in this case. I plan to return to try the spring version of the egg, with asparagus and broad beans. Desserts...chapeau!

19/06/2026: It's a shame they can only give 5 stars... I was here a few days ago, and they greeted me with a smile, kindness, and helpfulness. Among the various pizzas available, I chose the chicken and potato one, and it was delicious!!! The place is very cute; hearts with cute slogans hang from the ceiling, and it's easy to find, being on Kennedy Avenue. I hope I don't have to wait another 10 years to return.
