28/02/2026: For me, one of the three best restaurants in all of Irpinia. Aside from the excellent menu (the pomegranate with pork capocollo is brilliant, and the arancini are top-notch), "La Pignata" has what many restaurants in this region lack. They want to be a bit more sophisticated (I'm obviously not talking about traditional, popular osterias), but they don't know how to make a living (they don't understand the rules of restaurant culture). Here, however, it's there: kindness when making a reservation, impeccable service, with discreet courtesy and a sommelier in the dining room (many in Italy and around the world know Irpinia only for its wines, and it would be wise to ensure they find a respectable sommelier when they enter a restaurant), and the entire "liturgy" that introduces and concludes the menu, from the chef's welcome to the pre-dessert to the small pastries. Plus, it offers a quality/price ratio that's hard to find in more renowned tourist destinations. Moreover, the restaurant is right below the Norman castle and the municipal villa. Worth a trip or a detour.

03/01/2026: I should point out that I attended the New Year's Eve dinner. A crowd of people, with deafening music, a meager and mediocre meal. The music was deafening. They were only thinking about making a lot of money.

05/03/2026: We stayed at the B&B Agriturismo Tre Colli, and I can say without exaggeration that it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed right at home: a warm, familiar, and authentic atmosphere that is not so easy to find these days. The room was truly beautiful, with attention to detail, and the bathroom was innovative and modern, perfectly clean and comfortable. We also decided to have dinner there, and I must say it was a real discovery. We started with a platter of cured meats accompanied by homemade jams, as the waiter proudly told us: a treat that made everything even more special. For our first course, we had a typical pasta dish with provolone cheese and broccoli, truly flavorful and well-made, and for our second course, a pan-fried meat dish with potatoes and peppers, rich and delicious. After dinner, we chatted with the waiter, who I believe is also one of the owners: it was clear that this is a family-run place, where the hospitality is genuine. She also kindly offered us coffee and liquor, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The next morning, when we returned the keys, we ended our stay in the best possible way with a delicious homemade lemon tart, accompanied by excellent coffee. There's not much else to add: it's one of those places where you feel at home and leave longing to return. We'll definitely be back!

03/03/2026: Without taking anything away from the scenic beauty of the place, our weekend in early March 2026 truly turned out to be a fairytale, meeting the owners of Villa Tre Colli. This fabulous property is made even more unique by the kindness of Mrs. Nicolina, her son Luigi, her daughter Angela, and the rest of the family who work magnificently here. Impeccable cleanliness, excellent cuisine, and the authentic flavors of this beautiful place made our short vacation unforgettable. We will return to Villa Tre Colli and highly recommend it to everyone. Antonietta Righi.

01/11/2025: Personally, I'm not overly fond of set menus and always prefer to choose from the menu. There's no menu here, but the menu is a surprise (of course, any intolerances or allergies can be noted). I have to say: what a pleasant surprise! A menu on the rise with creative touches and very well-balanced flavors, perhaps with a few too many forays into the bitter realm. An experience worth repeating to try the young chef's decidedly skilful approach on other surprise dishes. The place is very pleasant, and the service is professional and friendly, worthy of applause.

03/02/2026: For those who love rustic, wood, and stone, this is the right osteria-trattoria. The owner is friendly and kind. Super friendly and kind staff. The menu is varied, the food is excellent, and it's what you'd expect given the location. Excellent value for money. If I return to that area, I'll definitely stop by, but I'd love to have lunch with that fireplace lit. 😉😉

15/12/2025: Excellent pub, clean, organized on multiple levels, with ample parking in front. Excellent service, friendly and professional waiter. Top-notch sandwiches, high-quality ingredients. They also offer the option of ordering almost all the sandwiches on the menu gluten-free, a quality that is evident here as well. The desserts and beers are also excellent. I would recommend adding desserts for gluten-free and lactose-free customers. The best in the area. Prices are a bit high.

04/01/2026: Excellent food, unsatisfactory service because water bottles were always empty, food was delivered to the table and placed in places where there were no people, wine ordered but never arrived and above all the waiter with long hair was very gruff and unsuitable for the chosen environment.
