24/02/2024: Locale molto carino all'interno e rinnovato da poco, elegante nello stile. Selezione di antipasti buonissima, ricca nella varietà e buona di gusto. Ampia scelta tra primi e secondi (sia carne che pesce), rispettando sempre le pietanze tradizionali. Buoni anche i dolci. Personale gentile.

31/03/2024: After spending the time looking around the “Leaning Tower of Pisa” this place was a perfect stop for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend all to stop here. The staff are super friendly and the food is exactly what you need after soaking in the sights. We opted for a pizza and lasagne to share and it truly was perfect!

08/05/2024: Disappointing! It deserves two stars, I gave one more star for the lovely place. An ostentation of high levels but only the prices are high. For an overnight stay, wellness program and dinner we paid an unjustifiably high bill, and it was low season. It was a far from relaxing experience, in particular the lady at the SPA was always ready to judge and correct our behavior, she treated us like people to be educated. We felt deprived of our moment of relaxation and very humiliated. It is the first time that a "high level" structure does not send me a cordial email apologizing for the inconvenience caused and limits itself to a confidential response justifying its behavior. I repeat that in addition to having offended us without any misunderstanding whatsoever, the manager of the SPA invited us to leave the hydromassage tub free. Having two hours of wellness at our disposal and having used the sauna and Turkish bath in the first half hour, as there was nothing else to do we had nothing left to do but spend the rest of the time in the tub, but we weren't allowed to do that either.

28/12/2023: Few times have I tried a brioscia with tuppo with ice cream that was honestly so good. The dough was beautifully soft and leavened, while the ice cream was divine. You could feel the intrinsic freshness of the ingredients. Compliments in particular for the almond and pistachio flavours. Jewels for the taste buds. The prices are very honest, both for the small and large brioche. I will definitely go back as soon as possible

It is one of the few places in the area that is open on weekends after 12 midnight. It has a good income and can be easily reached by car. Highly recommended

16/01/2024: A very pleasant discovery during the Christmas holidays in Tropea... After seeing the lights in the center of Tropea we decide to have a dinner that is in the center but not in the crowd... and here we find Albin's Restaurant just 2 steps from the main street. The welcome is very pleasant. We decide to have a fish dinner. I'll take a shrimp risotto creamed with Tropea gin.. Exceptional!!! Delicate!! My partner took an octopus tentacle which was huge and very soft.. All in the internal room of the restaurant with a very sweet Christmas atmosphere.. We closed the dinner with 2 excellent tiramisu!! What to say? Great experience!!

11/01/2024: Consigliamo vivamente questo ristorante, ci siamo fermati a pranzo durante una giornata turistica a Tropea. Personale molto gentile, tutte le pietanze tradizionali ottime e abbondanti. La pasta con guanciale e nduja tipica, eccezionale. Tutto al top. Complimenti.

08/03/2024: Beautifully crafted food and a matching wine selection for a fair price considering the quality. The restaurant was warm, charming and clean and the family owners were lovely. A very worthwhile visit thank you. Price guide includes antipasti, prima, and two glasses of wine.

03/04/2024: Fantastic experience. Incredibly friendly service and beautiful cooking. We loved the sea bass ravioli. The skin on the grouper was cooked to perfection, delightfully crispy. The ricotta was light and tasty! Would recommend.

19/03/2024: We had an excellent lunch at the San Domenico restaurant. The menu is extensive, there is even a choice for vegetarians. When selecting the dishes, the chef was available in the background to answer any questions or requests for changes, which we found very attentive. Overall, the whole service was very courteous and warm. The food was a wonderful taste experience: interesting combinations of spices and new interpretations of traditional dishes. The wine recommendation was perfect. Wonderful!

13/10/2023: Abbiamo cenato questa sera in questo localino di Tropea, un po’ per caso, un po’ alla ricerca di qualche esperienza culinaria tipicamente calabrese e devo dire che siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti: Location: all’interno di una piazzetta di fronte a un santuario, molto suggestivo, in fondo si scorge un belvedere dal quale si vede il mare e il porto Pietanze: un piatto di ravioli con le melanzane e cacio, uno stracotto al vino rosso di porzioni di patate, una con cacio, un’altra con cipolle marinate. Tutto molto buono ma una menzione di merito va attribuita allo stracotto, stratosferico! Personale: gentile e cordiale, la ragazza con i capelli ricci molto cordiale e piacevole, il ragazzo che ci ha consigliato da bere ha azzeccato un abbinamento con la birra, stravagante per uno stracotto, ma incredibile Conto: equilibrato, il giusto. Conclusione: Senza ombra di dubbio un posto che merita, siamo felici di averlo scelto, ve lo consiglio!
