11/11/2024: Delicious food in a great location. An ideal place for people who appreciate seafood cuisine. Very nice service, dishes served quickly. Prices adequate to the quality of the dishes served. If we come back to Calabria, we will definitely visit this amazing restaurant.

03/12/2024: Place with sea view, Scilla seafront, Sicily view ♥️ Very kind owner and qualified staff. The food was exquisite and special. I recommend the DE Angelis cooked and raw appetizer for those who love it and the shrimp and pistachio risotto.

10/12/2024: Scilla is a tiny - though extremely attractive - place. I'd probably given up on finding craft beer and, perhaps, had even resigned myself to any early night (heaven forbid) when I stumbled on this place. Okay, it's a wine bar but beggars can't be choosers and they had a fridge full of tiny cans of craft all from the same brewery and all colourfully illustrated in a cohesive style. It was a duty - but a pleasant one - to work my way through them all! I think we were the last people remaining when they shut down for the day but they said we were welcome to remain (given that we were sitting outside) until we were finished. This is a benefit of drinking cans/bottles I guess but also fairly common, and deeply appreciated, in Europe.
18/11/2024: At the beginning we received lasagna, aged and then simply reheated. Totally inedible.
The owner approached the topic honorably and allowed us to choose dishes again. We decided on Foccata and Piadine. Edible, but poor quality.
You can't spoil beer from a bottle. The drinks are tasty, hence the higher star.

11/10/2024: Small menu selection, but tasty and cheap. The gnocchi was fantastic and filling. Nice operators.
The plastic cutlery bothered us, even though it seems so common here.
Restaurant is recommended for snacks.

20/08/2024: I really enjoyed myself, the food was very fresh, the service was very professional, the environment was relaxing and welcoming.
The dishes, in addition to being all very good, tasty and fresh, were also very quick because the waiters were very organized and attentive.
I will definitely be back!
A, the prices very consistent and adequate with the quality and freshness of the dish.
Few places like this in such chaotic situations! I'll start by saying that the place was full and we hadn't booked.

20/08/2024: Definitely a beautiful setting and view, almost all the restaurants have this stilt house on the water. Unfortunately, the desire to "rip off" tourists in August is common, we are aware of this, but it is disheartening: 1 seafood tasting for 29 euros contains exactly: 2 scampi (in number), 1 slice of swordfish carpaccio, and some prawns ( mignon), it seems like a real theft to me.
Secondly:
Good sword rolls
squid (also small)
“all this” at the modified figure of 147 euros.

18/11/2024: Pizzeria in the style of the past, on the seafront of Scilla. Relaxed and familiar environment, excellent welcome, menu full of proposals. Good Margherita pizza. What convinced me the most, however, was the quality-price ratio: for a Margherita pizza, a small draft beer, a bottle of mineral water, a Cucciolone ice cream and cover charge, only 10.50 euros, discounted to 10 (see receipt in the photograph). I don't think I've spent this amount to go out for pizza in years! To return.

27/08/2024: We decided with friends to stop at Glauco at the end of the village of Chianalea in Scilla, beautiful location with terrace overlooking the sea, we had a good time, very kind and friendly staff, excellent quality for the price. Advised

02/11/2024: The place is typical of a fishing village, a small but welcoming environment. Very good dishes with refined flavours. Wine cellar limited by labels for the period. The waiter who helps himself by running from one level (first floor kitchen) to the other (two of the rooms at different heights, highlights his suffering on his t-shirt... the bathrooms are absolutely out of the norm! The one for the very small man and for sizes maximum 50. Otherwise recommended!

09/12/2024: Restaurant found by chance, it turned out to be a magnificent surprise. Warm welcome, entry aperitif offered by the house, simple, rich but above all genuine and fresh appetizer. Well-executed and abundant first courses, second course of amberjack au gratin in the oven with julienne of crunchy vegetables, mussels with chilli pepper, finally coffee and a pleasant taste of artisanal house liqueurs.

23/10/2024: We stopped in without a reservation with a group of 8 and had an incredible meal! Amazing stuffed calamari, squid ink pasta from this am and the freshest swordfish crudo. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Warm, welcoming, delicious with an incredible view.
