Special praise goes to whoever created and manages it, as they manage to convey professionalism, customer service, and the property's identity from the first time you log in. My experience at Lido La Lampara, in the splendid setting of the Tonnara di Palmi, was truly positive. Its seaside location on the Costa Viola offers breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets. The property is well-maintained, welcoming, and suitable for both those seeking relaxation and those who want to spend a day enjoying the sea and well-organized services. Special praise also goes to the staff, always available, courteous, and attentive to guests' needs. Regarding dining, it's important to note that the on-site restaurant is Boga Terrazza sul Mare, a separate establishment from the lido but run by the same family, with the same passion and attention to hospitality. The quality of the dishes, especially the seafood, and the elegant atmosphere make the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Lido La Lampara and Boga are a perfect example of how hospitality, professionalism, and innovation can harmoniously coexist. 06/07/2026: The place is not very big and a little minimal but the food is good and the service is fast and very polite with a good touch of friendliness which never hurts.

01/11/2025: Terrible service, slow and poorly managed. It's unthinkable for someone to arrive at 8:00 PM to eat and be served at 9:00 PM when there weren't even that many people. Plus, half the items on the menu weren't available. When we were supposed to order and were ready, the waitress made us wait because she still had to set all the tables (setting means simply putting out a paper placemat). So she made us wait just to take our order. Then I chose meat and had to go inside to choose it from the counter. Too bad the butcher was serving customers and made me wait. When he could have taken 30 seconds to ask me what I wanted and cut the steak, that's enough. Plus, I had to remind him of my table number, otherwise he wouldn't have even gotten it. Then when the side dishes arrived (served as appetizers, I don't know why), we still hadn't received water or wine. And only after asking the waitress for water did it arrive, and very slowly did the wine arrive. Overall, the food was good, but not spectacular. It's a shame that the selection seemed extensive, but once we arrived, it was very limited. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Terrible service. If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be to close the butcher shop when you want to serve food and just run the restaurant, with faster and better waiters.

11/09/2025: Our visit to Granitiamo was very disappointing and confusing from the start. The prices and rules were unclear: the menus at the tables indicated lower prices, while only inside did we discover the actual cost of the granitas (€3.50 for the medium one and €5.00 for the large one). Furthermore, we were verbally informed that the €3.50 granita allowed a maximum of two flavors, while the €5.00 one allowed three. ​We ended up spending €13 for two granitas and one brioche col tuppo, a total far higher than expected. Furthermore, we couldn't pay by card, and we weren't given a receipt. ​The service was rude and rushed. Conversely, we noticed a marked disparity in the treatment given to another table, likely regulars, who received special attention and significantly better service, including a souvenir photo taken by the owner. An experience we will not repeat and that we do not recommend.
