10/08/2026: Unfortunately, it was a decidedly negative experience. Upon arrival, we waited almost 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order and almost an hour before we could begin eating. We shared a decidedly disappointing "cooked and marinated fish tasting": the cod balls had a flavor very similar to the classic sweet and sour sauce found in all-you-can-eat sushi, which was also noticeable in the salmon carpaccio. The octopus salad was inedible, both in terms of taste and the potatoes, which were still decidedly raw. We had initially ordered two glasses of white wine, but the smell and taste were so unpleasant that we doubted its shelf life. When we told the waiter that we didn't like the wine, he simply told us that it was the only white wine available by the glass and that, alternatively, we could order a small bottle of another wine. Furthermore, neither the name nor the origin of the wine served were given to us. After another long wait, the main courses arrived: instead of the ordered spaghetti with clams, we received spaghetti with seafood, while the seared tuna steak was accompanied by an enormous amount of lettuce and cheese. We found little attention to flavors, aromas, and pairings in the fish dishes. The service was equally lacking: we had to ask for bread and plates when the appetizer arrived, and a second requested bread basket never arrived. The waiter seemed inattentive and unwelcoming. The rather dated dining room was also not adequately refrigerated despite the summer heat. Only later did the owner begin to quickly circulate among the tables, trying to salvage a situation that had already deteriorated. It was a decidedly unpleasant experience, between the wait, disorganization, service, and quality of the dishes. Given what we experienced, we honestly struggle to understand the numerous positive reviews that led us to choose this restaurant.

22/07/2026: If you're looking for authentic flavors of yesteryear, Nonno Totò in Ruggiano is a must-visit: you can savor traditional cuisine, made with simple ingredients and recipes that taste like home. Among the dishes that won me over, I recommend the spicy peperonata, served with freshly grilled meat. A tip for those with kids: they'll find excellent fries and pizza, to please even the youngest palates: they'll find excellent fries and pizza. I'll definitely be back!

16/07/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance during the feast of Santa Marina. We ate pieces of horse meat and a superb peperonata. Excellent service (well done, Samuele). Worth the stop. Recommended.

07/02/2026: Delicious and large selection of breakfast (croissants) and confections like cookies and pastries. Good coffee, and they also have various teas. Busy spot but never too busy to grab a table, and wait times were never too long.
